This book just gave me the ick vibes within the first chapter, I felt it was different from the summary that was advertised. So it's a no thank you from me but I do appreciate being granted the ARC.

This is a new author for me which I enjoyed this steamy romance story. This is a well written story about Chole and how she takes on a new job at a radio station. Will she get more than she bargained for? What will happen after hours? This is a great story that brought the steam to a new level. The characters are not only connectable but also made the story engaging. I enjoyed being pulled into the story from the beginning. I enjoyed how the characters brought the story to life on each page. I highly recommend this book.

This book was all over the place. Not what I expected. Chloe breaks up with her boyfriend who's been racking up debt in her name. She's a freelance fashion consultant (why she doesn't work for a department store, I have no idea). Her friend gets her a job on radio on a late night fantasy show. She gets admirers and stalkers. She has casual sex with a few people.
I think this story was about her finding her way, but all her choices just wind up being poor ones. I agree with other reviewers that the ending was rushed and didn't really make sense. I didn't really enjoy the writing overall and if I hadn't gotten this as an ARC, would've not read past the first chapter.

My Assessment:

We find Chloe Milano has broken up with her boyfriend...Daniel is in debt and needs a good-paying job. Her friends [Blair & Stephanie] come to her aid with her landing a radio show job [Fantasy FM] for listeners after dark, who dealt with sexual fantasies. What will Chloe lose at taking this kind of job? The reader is given quite a story that leads her into some up and down situations and some horrible consequences that she will go through, especially after that... The reader will be a little off with how the effects of addressing PTSD and the suicidal situation seemed to have been dealt with. How will Chole choose to come out of this? You will have to pick up this read and see for yourself how this author brings the story all out to the reader.

If Chloe had taken the advice her mother was telling her about counseling...oh well, however, in the end, mom was probably happy with the choice Chloe made in the end.

Be ready for some mystery, drama, suspense, crime, and oh yes, ...some racy steamy romance scenes from this entertaining read.

The ending...oh well...a HEA with HIM...? I thought Chloe deserved better, but in the end, I guess she ended up with whom she wanted in her life.

First off I loved Chloe. This character grows so much from the beginning of the story. I loved her journey of self discovery and empowerment. The late night talk show was unique and nothing I have read before. There's plenty of steamy explicit scenes. There's suspense and tension. The stuff with Casper had my jaw dropping in surprise. I also enjoyed the side characters and hope for more books featuring them. My only complaint is the abrupt ending. It didn't do justice to the story or Chloe's character. I will definitely read this author again.

I loved this book until the ending! First the good - good character development, I enjoyed learning more about Chloe and how she found confidence in herself and discovered a new side of her. Supporting characters were interesting, and I think there's definitely intrigue for spinoff books (Stephanie, Blaire). I liked Caspar until I didn't, and while I didn't really enjoy that plot twist, it's a realistic happening. But the ending - the ending felt abrupt and did not fit the story! I was so caught up in the book and really loving it until the last few pages. Still work the read, but reader beware of a bad ending!

An intriguing dive into the world of late night talk radio with a racy theme! This book crosses multiple genres as it has a delicious mystery for those of us who like a crime drama, but the racy steam that romance readers who enjoy explicit scenes will also like. It's a mix of light and dark with unique perspectives on both sides of the coin. Never fear though for those who like a happily ever after, this book has that as well. This is my first book by this author and I must say that it won't be my last!
