I really enjoyed all of these! They all ended right as I was excited to keep reading. I will be purchasing most of them when they are published.

So many great books and I can't wait to be able to read them all. This sampler included authors that I really enjoy their books and also introduced me to new authors' works.

I definitely found some new authors to check out.
My favorite was Jennifer Hillier's new book. I placed a preorder on that.

Love the sampler idea, you get to check out different books without having to get the full books...so you will know if the book is something you want to read.

This is awesome way to check out books before reading them/buying them to see if they are for you or not. I wish all publishers did this. I’m now super excited for several of these reads.

Amazing concept! Love it.

A great way to try books without wasting a whole lot of time.

I just could not get into these stories.,

Since I have purchased books based on the last sampler I received, I will continue to read Minotaur samplers, because I like their collections.

I absolutely LOVED this concept - a sampler of upcoming, hot novels! Thank you so much for my copy.

I am most excited to finish The Things We Do In the Dark. Absolutely riveting! I’m a massive Jennifer Hillier fan.

The other one I’m particularly excited about finishing is Outside.

Thank you again for my copy of this amazing sampler!

I love the Minotaur Samplers. They offer an opportunity to read a few chapters from upcoming novels. This installment is a strong one with 8 upcoming mystery-thrillers. My favorites were those with female leads: The Favor by Nora Murphy and Things We Do in the Dark by Jennifer Hillier and I was extremely intrigued by A Rip Through Time by Kelley Armstrong. But there is something for everyone here - standalone novels as well as "first in a series".
Thanks to #NetGalley and #Minotaur for this sneak peek into upcoming spring/summer books. I've found quite a few that I've added to my TBR..

I really enjoyed this sampler. It provides a great preview of the upcoming books. I enjoyed how each book is previewed with a sample of the book but then also the author bio. This helps a reader decide which books they may want to read because each sample provides just enough preview to introduce characters, plots, settings, and writing style.

Four stars
This was a great thriller sampler with a decent amount of content per book. I found several books that I plan on purchasing by being able to read these snippets.
Thank you Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to experience these books before their publication dates.

These are a good peek at several upcoming books. My most anticipated is Jennifer Hilliers, “ Things We Do in the Dark” but there are a few others that I will definitely be reading. There are a couple that I will pass on but I think that is a case of my person preference and not the quality of the story.
Thank you #netgalley and #minotaur books for the sneak peek!

I didn't know Sampler collections existed but I love the idea! In this collection it turns out I have already read two of the books and another is in my TBR pile but after reading the beginnings of Die Around Sundown and Outside, I am adding two more. Thanks to Netgalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I was pleased to receive this "teaser" from St. Martin's Press/Minotaur Books. There were a couple intriguing stories that I will definitely finish reading when they're available.

"The Gatekeeper" looks like it will deliver on its introduction. Dez is not James Bond, but he has crazy skills and a creative mind under pressure--and he's a musician! I will enjoy this novel for its fast pace, action and good guys v bad guys clarity, for sure.

"A Rip Through Time" took an interesting approach in the "modern woman sent back in time" genre. I certainly would have been far more confused in that situation, but this new heroine looks to be steady and courageous. I'll see where this one takes me.

"Die Around Sundown" drops us into Paris during the Nazi occupation. I've been obsessed with WWII stories this year, and the concept of a murder in the Louvre caught me at once. The characters at this point are very much good/bad stereotypes, but I am looking forward to learning more.

The other stories didn't hook me, but this was a worthwhile time investment to meet some new authors and styles.

This is the second Minotaur Sampler (Volume 5) that I had the opportunity to read and enjoy story snippets from eight new authors. Since reading is subjective, reviewing these stories is a great way to find great reading material. Volume 5 contained a wide spectrum of stories. There's a good chance you will find something to your liking.

Thank you, Net Galley, and Minotaur for the opportunity to read Volume 5.

Well, I have already had the pleasure of reading The Things We Do in the Dark! 5 Stars!! I have an ARC of The Favor to read next. That one looks really good, and I am hoping for The Blame Game and Outside! Very nice sampling!

This book is exactly as described - a sampling (extract) of various books to attract a reader to buy.

I enjoyed this. I'll be looking for The Gatekeeper when it is published. I'm always looking for new mystery and thriller writers.

I was thrilled when Minatour released this upcoming sampler. It's an amazing opportunity to try in a few chapters to find a new exciting read.

And wonderfully, I have found 3 that captured my attention within the first sentence.

Nora Murphys, The Favor, " leaving would be dangerous, staying could be worse."

Katherine Schellmans, "Last Call in Nightingale," - "Toss Back Your Drink"

And "The Blame Game" by Sandie Jones - "She knows she's telling the truth. But the evidence says she's lying."

Thank you Minatour and NetGalley for helping me find my next engaging read.

Things we do in the dark is my most anticipated release of 2022 and getting the first chapter was just so exciting! 😍

Great sampler of what to expect! I'm really looking forward to - Things We Do In The Dark and the Last Call at The Nightingale. Although I totally can see half of these being book of the month books.
