The book club kit for If the Shoe Fits was chock full of so many great supplements for your reading! I appreciated the content warnings. The author interview and discussion questions were very thoughtful. The bookmarks and quiz were very fun. I really loved the recipes and the bingo is not something I see often in book club kits. The "what to read next" section contained some really 5 star reads!

This is a great little kit and really adds to the experience of reading the book My friends and I really enjoyed using these and we're hopeful there will be plenty more made available in the future.

This is such a cute Book Club Pack! There are so many great items in here that contribute to a fun evening with the crew! First of all I really liked having the interview with the author and the prompt questions (because no work for me) because we have some insight into how the book came to be in the end.
The recipes are spot on because you always need a little bevy and some good food to spark conversation and to keep any hangry people focused.
The Disney Bounding section offered such a fun idea and I truly had no idea what it was until I read this kit! So much fun and I never thought to incorporate something like this into one of our book club chats!
Bingo and designing shoes just added something extra and fun!

There is a slight spoiler that the dad dies in the content warnings but you find out on like the third page so I don't really mind. The questions really helped keep our discussion flowing. Bingo was really fun. I can't wait to try out the recipes.

I think this is an excellent book club kit. It includes a great interview with the author that helps the reader understand the author's motivations for the choices in the book. I love the added fun value of the bingo and the bookmarks for readers to print. It also has some very deep discussion questions that would help drive the conversation during the book club meeting. I would highly recommend it!

This is such an entertaining book club kit. I definitely see everyone enjoying this and coming together in different ways! The title is also very catchy and the cover gives a hint of what to expect in the book which is what some people look for. I already want to read it all and piece their journey together!

From a recipe to Playlist everyone will be having fun and enjoying their bookclub meeting without a doubt! As someone who has tried and failed to create or be apart of MANY book clubs, I absolutely love this kit! This book is one of my top books on my TBR along with a few friends, after showing this to them we have decided to read and discuss together and use this kit to guide us! What is If the shoe fits about?
In the book if the shoe fits we meet Cindy who has just graduated and gained her degree in becoming a shoe designer. Cindy us trying to find her way in the world and trying to find out what she wants to do next with her degree. At the start of the book Cindy is working for her stepmother who is the executive producer of a reality TV show called Before Midnight. When her stepmother needs a spot filling on the show Cindy jumps at the chance to get involved. Hoping that this is the platform that she needs in order to kick start her career in fashion. But Cindy is noticed for her plus sized frame perhaps not something that she really thought would be the thing that she would be noticed for. But becoming a body positive icon for all women everywhere is just the push and platform that she needs and helps her find her way in the world and to find out exactly what she should be doing with the hard earned degree.

This is a really great book. It is joyous, uplifting, funny, fun and I loved it. If you haven't read it I highly recommend that you do and after you have read it then this guide has you covered with pinpoints and tricks for your book club meeting.

It's a really fun guide

This book club kit started with a content warning list, which I always think is a good, mindful idea. It also had a pretty extensive author interview that I thought might have been just a bit too long, considering it's a part of a book club kit, and thus, supposed to support discussion. The questions were interesting, but I did think question 1 ("If the Shoe Fits is the first book in a new multi-author series inspired by classic fairytale stories. What fairytale would you like to see a modern rom-com retelling of? Which author would you want to write it?") was a bit too broad/unrelated to the book itself. I feel like a question like this would take over a book club's discussion and maybe lead readers down a long tangent that is unrelated to the book.
One thing I really liked about this kit was that it also included three discussion questions from the author herself! It was a great addition that combined this idea of hearing from the author but also prompting discussion from a book club. There were also some great bonus things like crafts (designing your own shoe), ideas for Disney-bounding, printable bookmarks, Bingo, recipes, and readalike suggestions. All in all, a great jam-packed book club kit with many things beyond discussion questions.

This was a wonderful accompanying guide to If The Shoe Fits. It starts with an author's q&a which gives some extra insight into the book, and then delves into discussion suggestions.

I really loved the added extras, especially the Before Midnight quiz ( make it to the final 2 haha) and the adorable bookmarks!

As the book club kits are new I really didn't know what to expect but with an author interview, discussion questions, a quiz, bingo and the cutest bookmarks you can really see how much work has gone into this!

I also really appreciated the kit opening with the trigger warnings. This particular book doesn't have too many TW but it's nice that the creators of the kit flag them up and don't make you go looking for them.

I will definitely grab another of these kits in the future 💜

Super cute kit! While I was not sure exactly what to expect the kit provided a lot of helpful information. I appreciated the inclusion of trigger warnings. The additional activities such as the shoe design challenge, book club bingo and recipes provide great additions to a book club meeting. The context from the author interview and discussion questions are superb!

What a great accompanying guide to a book. This book club guide was fun and interactive. Loved the author interview, book club discussion questions, activities, bingo and other book suggestions!

I was not sure what to expect from this kit, since I never had or used one, but I liked how varied the activities are. I mainly requested this because I wanted to read the book and I thought this might motivate me, and it did!

There were more activities than I expected. Again, I was not sure what to expect, maybe the interview, a couple questions and then some quick and general activities, but I liked seeing more. We got bookmarks (love bookmarks), a quiz, a bingo board, recipes, suggestions of other books... It was very nice to see.

This kit was so fun and helpful! Not only was it really cute, but I loved the variety in it. Most book club guides are limited to author Q&A and questions for the group, but this one really went above and beyond with the bingo, shoe design, and even recipes.

I also LOVED the other book recs at the end! Great job!

This resource is so fun! I think it would be great to use with a group of friends, to take the quiz, design the shoes, make the cocktails mentioned in the recipe. I love how well thought out it is. I appreciate how these books that I normally wouldn't think to use for a book club can clearly be used in one - you just need to be a bit more creative.

Not only do you get insight into the book with the author interview, you also get a selection of printable bookmarks so you can read the book in style. This is followed by bunch of activities for when you meet as a group to discuss the book - games to play, a show to design and a quiz to see how far you would make it in the competition. No only that, themed food and a cocktail to drink too. It’s a perfect accompaniment for all stages of reading the book and it really piqued my interest to read the book too. It would be perfect for my book group. I wish every book we read had a guide like this.
