I've read many books by Jason Kasper and have enjoyed them all. This one was no different. His books are faced pace and easy to read. Great characters that are easy to root for. I highly recommend this book.

I've been a fan of this series for a while now, so I was excited to finally get my hands on the final book, The Fifth Bandit. This wraps up the adventures of our favorite heist crew, as they finally unmask and go to head to head with Jim's mysterious and powerful 'mentor' in an attempt to bring them down for good.

I enjoy this series for several reasons, and all are all display here. There's more exciting and extremely well engineered and described heist action. The ideas, planning, and execution of these jobs are really fun to read. The main characters gel really well together and their close relationship - not Just Blaire and Sterling, but all of them - works brilliantly. There's no profanity, no killing, and minimal violence. That might make this series too tame for some, but I find it a refreshing change from most books. The focus here is on heists and stealth without the victim even knowing they've been robbed, and the series is better for it.

The Fifth Bandit brings the Spider Heist series to a very satisfying conclusion. Its nice to see things wrapped up so well, with no cliffhangers or loose ends. Way to finish strong!

I received an Advanced Reader Copy for free from NetGalley and am leaving this review voluntarily. That said, I'll be preordering this book anyway to show support for the author for putting such an enjoyable series out there. Thanks!

A perfect conclusion (?) to the Sky Thieves series. This has been a high octane fast paced series from the very beginning and this book does not disappoint.

This time, the Sky Thieves are trying to bring down their arch enemy and the stakes could not be higher. The heists get more elaborate and the reward is their survival. They are low on resources so they need help from the Fifth Bandit.

Jason Kasper's books are guaranteed to move at a break neck speed with non-stop action sequences. Always looking forward to reading more from the author.

This is the last book in the series about The Sky Thieves. I haven't read the first two books yet, I only know the third one. But that's not a problem. You can also read this book even if you haven't read any of the previous ones. Although, due to the fact that this is the ending of the whole journey and many plotlines are resolved, I think you will enjoy this book more if you know the previous ones.

A group of thieves, The Sky Thieves we know from previous books, are trying to discover the identity of their worst enemy who is behind the evil plots in the previous books - the mentor. And when they do, they know they must stop the mentor if they want to survive. The mentor seems to have unlimited resources and makes more and more attempts to get rid of The Sky Thieves. Deprived of much of their resources, the main characters must turn to others for help.

The plot is as good as the previous book. The stakes are really high all the time, and the fact that The Sky Thieves don't always get what they wanted means that you are always sitting on the edge of your seat. It's the endgame, how it all ends depends on it, and it makes you feel like the stakes are even higher.

I liked how smart and clever the main characters are. They depend not only on their well-thought-out plans, but also use some modern technology. This is another thing I really appreciate. It is interesting to read how they use various technical innovations in their plans. But just as interesting is knowing that their opponent is also using the latest technology to fight them. I also really enjoyed the fast pace of this story.

This is a very good ending to the series. Although I will not be surprised if we meet these characters again in some book. Actually, I hope we will.

Fast-paced, intense, and explosive, The Fifth Bandit will have you breathless as you witness a heist crew try to pull off an audacious and impossible job with nothing less than their lives at stake.

The Sky Thieves, led by mastermind and expert thief Sterling Defranc, find themselves in the crosshairs of someone called the Mentor who wants to put an end to the careers – and lives – of this talented band of celebrity criminals. And while the Sky Thieves would very much like to remain upright, they face two big obstacles. First, they don’t know the identity of the Mentor. Second, the Mentor has incredible wealth, resources and reach at his/her disposal. But as the old saying goes, “the only way out is through.” So, the Sky Thieves engage in a cat-and-mouse game to uncover the identity of the billionaire hunting them down with the goal to steal items of incalculable value from that individual that will also highlight the Mentor’s unsavory business dealings. But this heist is unlike anything they have faced before and could be too much for them to pull off. But if they somehow find success, the Sky Thieves just might turn the tables on their enemy and come out victorious while remaining among the living.

If, like me, you haven’t read the prior books in the series, you can expect to feel a little behind as the book starts off by picking up a previous storyline. But it doesn’t take long to get into the plot, understand the situation facing the main characters and then get engrossed in the fight for survival and incredibly daring heist that follows. Yes, it probably helps to have read the prior books, but I can attest to the fact that this book is intriguing and enjoyable on its own merits. Which makes you want to go back and read the prior 3 books in the series to see what other capers this crew pulls off.

Jason Kasper might not be one of the most well-known authors in the thriller genre, but the guy can write a hell of a story with great pacing, intrigue and protagonists you root for. Whether it’s this Spider Heist series or his Shadow Strike series, you know by picking up a book by this author you’re guaranteed a well-written, enjoyable experience. If you’re searching for a new thriller author to check out, look no further. Pick up a book by Jason Kasper and prepare to be entertained.
