Very short, sweet and spicy. Did I like the book…? Only in parts. I didn’t vibe with the characters as a whole, but the spicy scenes were *chef’s kiss*.

Some readers may have some issues with the non-consensual stuff within the book so triggers warnings are advised.

The writing wasn’t the greatest but if you’re just looking for something easy to read to get ‘things’ started, then this is a great book. If you’re after a great plot and character development then this isn’t the book to go for.

This is a short and spicy novella, but unfortunately didn't do much for me. I didn't care about the characters at all, the plot was nonexistent, and the ending felt very rushed. All of those would be fine for a quick read like this if the smut was good at least, but sadly I wasn't into that either.

This was a short story, enemies to lovers, revenge and magic all rolled into one short, dub-con story featuring a succubus and a guy who feels the need for revenge for some pretty substandard reasons.

I'm rounding it to 3 stars, but probably more like 2.5

Sex demon is a closet romantic but spends her time having hot, kinky sex with paying strangers. she is doing this to pay off her sister's debt to wizard thugs, Lennox is a blacksmith that works out his fury by pounding steel into swords. He comes to town to have revenge on a certain succubus that he is searching for. He tortures her by repeatedly bringing her to the brink of orgasm and then denying her release. He finally realizes that doing this to her is breaking his heart. This book contains graphic sex and light BDSM scenes.

Zahara isn't just anyone, she is a sex demon. She is a romantic under all that hot, kinky sex she's having with paying strangers but she needs the money to pay her sister's debt.

Lennox is a man that has a bad history with people like Zahara. He ends up torturing her to the brink of orgasms and then denies her. For a sex demon, this leaves them weak.

Eventually, he finds a change of heart.

This book was short, it was spicy but that was it. I thought the beginning had a good promise of a story, the ending seemed super rushed.

This was a quick, story but I was hooked from the beginning. I loved Zahra, she was sassy, strong, but the girl needs a break from her life. lol Her and Lennox though, was super spicy, and for a short novella this book puts out a lot of steam. lol

I love this short, spicy enemies-to-lovers read.

Lennox is on a hunt for revenge, and Zahra just happens to be in his crosshairs. The poor succubus already has enough on her plate with fending off a bully wizard, keeping her sister sober, and working as a sex worker to keep them fed.

This novella had substance for a short read. Jaye Shields did a great job in building an instant but meaningful connection between Lennox and Zahra. It made their HEA more believable despite the animosity on Lennox' part in the beginning.

I was engaged from the get-go, and the spicy moments were most definitely hot.

If you are a fan of paranormal romance and looking for a spicy read with a good plot, this is a great pick.

This book was in a word, short and sweet. I'm not sure If I could love a sex demon myself, but when you find "the one", I guess that's it and he can deal with her past. The storyline was decent, though they could have delved into the brother/wife issue a little more, as that was the basis for his 'revenge' to start with. It was a quick and good read. I enjoyed it.

The torture scenes were pretty hot. But I did not like this couple. I was a little skeeved to the kidnapper/captive-fall-in-love-during-torture situation. Again, those torture scenes were fire, but still. Will probably bookmark those scenes to reread out of context.

Quick and spicy. It didn't do much for me though.

I would have liked more character development even though this is a short read, I just found myself not really caring about either of them or their situation and it all just felt like an excuse for porn. This is fine, if that is what you are looking for but it wasn't what I was really wanting from this read.

I am a huge fan of novellas, and I really did enjoy this one!

It was extremely steamy, I mean the title kind of gives away whats about to happen.. it would of been interesting if it wasn't a novella and the plot/ characters where fleshed out more!

A fast paced interesting start to a new series. The action and romantic scenes are intense and sure to keep your attention. A quick read that was hard to put down!

I have to admit, this book is conflicting me. I enjoyed the quickness of the tale, however, the plot felt sub par. The sex scenes were exquisite but the writing style didn't pull me in as much as I'd like. The characters were likeable but I'd have loved to see some more characterisation and personality building. Overall, a quick and interesting read, but certainly had room for improvement.

Well, that was a quick and spicy read. Nothing social, no plot to speak of, just lots of smut. The story does have potential, so it could've been a nice book, now it was just very spicyyy.

This is a short story, and I didn't realize that when I picked it up - I read it SO fast and found myself wanting more details, more of the storyline, more character development, more everything! It's a good read, just SO short and because it's short, there isn't time for the author to go into more detail. The title isn't really indicative of the storyline - I would say it's more about secrets than confessions, and motivations that show there's more than meets the eye. I enjoyed the read, but again, I wish it was longer!
