I love a book that can make me laugh out loud and this book did exactly that. First book by this author but it won’t be the last!

Unfortunately this wasn't for me. I felt like I was dragging myself along every page. I was interested enough in the story to continue to finish, but not so much that I was dragging myself inside to read every free moment I had. The story felt formulaic and that left little be desired when it came to engaging me as a reader. I was so interested in the premise of the book that maybe I was expecting more than was delivered. It could be for someone, but it wasn't for me.

The pacing wasn't my style and the characters needed a little more work, but the plot was entertaining and overall it was a lovely read!

This was my first book by this author but I liked the sound of the premise and ended up really enjoying it. It was such an easy, heartfelt read and I adored Darby a seeing her pick herself back up after everything she’d been through.

Mainly doing this for my feedback ratio... I have a low feedback ratio because I did not want to provide feedback on this book, but that is just because I do not like giving negative feedback... but I read this book back in 2022 and it was NOT it for me. Someone might enjoy it, but I certainly did not. This is nothing against the author, I just was not this book's biggest fan. It felt a little cringe and like it needed some heavy editing.

I’m not sure how I feel about this one still. I liked it while I was reading it but I found it very forgettable. I did really like the characters and the story line.

This was a liitttle too predictable for my taste....but I can appreciate a lighthearted read too! I don; think this will be a book that I'd remember a few months from now though...

This cover is really cute and frames the people perfectly. I really enjoyed the humor and romance and would love to read more by Daily.

A fun rom-com that ticks all the boxes! An MC you can't help root for, cleverly made into a riches-to-rags underdog,, and there're sparks and sparkles to be found all over the pages. The laughs are belly-tastic... Don't read on the plane is all I can say!

Super fun for fans of authors like Emily Henry.

I was instantly hooked on this funny romance. Fifteen Minutes of Shame has it all.

Why am I hiding behind a dumpster at the Gas-N-Go in my pajamas, spying on Michael?

A month ago I was America’s favorite TV relationships expert. Now? I’m the loser facing a major scandal, whose catastrophic love life is splashed across TMZ, social media, and every gossip show and supermarket tabloid — all because I got dumped by my husband on national TV. For a reality TV star. And that’s not even the worst part.

Now, I’m scrambling to un-shamble my life, make a comeback, and salvage what’s left of my heart and my career — which is constantly complicated by the fact that I keep publicly screwing up (on camera, no less), my publicist is advising me to do some (let’s say questionable) stuff to get my career back on track, and most of all, because I can’t tell if my insanely sexy divorce attorney Holt is flirting with me, or just giving me legal advice.

It definitely feels like flirting.

Like, the best flirting of my entire life — the kind that makes all your parts tingle, not just your toes.

Is that a bad thing? Yeah it is — because if I fall for him, we’ll both be torpedoing our careers, not to mention everything else that really matters to me.
It’s just so hard to stop…

Don't miss this satisfying, swoony, laugh-out-loud romantic comedy perfect for readers who love Christina Lauren, Emily Henry, and Helena Hunting.

I really enjoyed this fast read! I was intrigued the entire time because Darby is such a lovely character and one who can be related to by many of us women. It's difficult not to love her since she's unique, entertaining, messy, and genuinely compassionate. I adored how the plot developed and how Darby ultimately received her just desserts. This made me laugh, cry, and then laugh some more! Excellently constructed; highly recommended!

One thing I loved about this book was the friendships. Darby needed some people she could count on and those girls were it. Once Holt entered the picture, I was ready for the romance to heat up. It was entirely too long of a slow burn, in my opinion, which led to a very rushed “happy ever after.”

I wanted so badly to like this one but I found that it felt like it was going here, there, and everywhere. I just couldn't focus on it, and I felt jumbled and just didn't enjoy it. Disappointing as I had high hopes but just couldn't get behind this one. There was humor, and definitely likable parts of the story, but overall, it just didn't tickle my fancy. I didn't find the characters likeable or relatable, I found the writing was dragging and I just couldn't do it. I feel like with a bit more polishing, it would be a great read, it just felt like an early draft and not a finish product.

Darby is down on her luck. she discovers that her husband is filing for a divorce on national TV; the storyline follows Darby as she tries to pick up the pieces of her life and career. Drama, paparazzi, and a hot lawyer.
I love how the book deals with Darby's comeback and then introduces Holt's feelings. An emotional and engaging read. Recommended.

I felt like this story was able to suck me in from the first page. The characters were likable, the chemistry was tangible, and overall it was just an easy, and fun read. Would like to read more from this author.

I was immediately sucked into the story, and rooted for Darby throughout the book. The book was realistic and her emotions felt authentic.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants a quick read that tugs at your emotions. There are funny moments and happy and sad ones, just like in life.

I liked Darby, but I felt like the novel placed wayyyyy too much emphasis on her ass of an ex and his cheating. It just got tedious to read as everything revolved around that and to be honest I felt like the HEA ending was extremely rushed and that should've been the emphasis instead of the other stuff.

15 Minutes of Shame immediately hooked me in and I could not put it down. I love Darby - her personality, her advice, and her notions of family and love. She's fun, messy, and not afraid to laugh at herself. She bounces back, and it was believable to me that she would be a beloved relationship guru. The timing of her recovery from her failed marriage felt real and relatable. This is a book that will pick you up on your bad days.
