“All that matters is just you and me, darlin’.”

WHEN HE FINALLY CALLS HER DARLIN’ <3

This book was the perfect forced proximity, cowboy, clean, romance novel!! A great way to start off summer!

Kaylee is a published author who is in a bit of a slump. Her editor sends her to a ranch in Montana to gain real experience for her western, romance novels.

Luke is a handsome, hardworking, typical broody cowboy. He is smitten with Kaylee from day one. He is navigating life after loss and the Sassy author who (literally) falls into his life may be just the ticket!

Watching these two become the best of friends before falling in love was so heartwarming. The town of Bartlett, Montana was so charming. It had the perfect small town vibes. I want to go to their town festival!!! The food sounds so delicious! Drew and Emma were loyal, honest, and fun side characters. If Jennie Marts wanted to write a second book in this series about Drew - I would read it in a flash!!

I wish Kaylee had been a little more confident in herself. Discovering herself was a crucial character arc in the novel. However, this arc led to a conflict that did not do it for me. I just rolled my eyes because I knew that Luke would see right through it! I love a good HEA!!!

“I can hear what your heart is saying just fine.”

Thank you Jennie Marts and Hallmark Publishing for the ARC via NetGalley! Keep me in mind for Drew’s story!!

Cowboy Ever After is one of my favorite kind of books. A Hallmark movie style story and a cowboy romance. Seriously, what else could readers want from a book? I loved the premise of a western romance author that isn't actually familiar with what it is like to live in the country. Kaylee was such a fun lead, and I enjoyed reading all of her experiences and missteps during her time at the Montana ranch. And of course, the romance between her and Luke couldn't miss. Cowboy Ever After is a good pick for romance readers and Hallmark movie fans.

Thanks to NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing for this ARC; this is my honest and voluntary review.

This book was my introduction to this author. I am excited to add more of her books to my bookshelf very soon. The romance was great without being over done. The characters were very likeable and I found myself rooting for them. The comedic lines were outstanding. Overall a great read.

Kaylee is a shy stay at home writer of western romance. Her editor wants her to go to her family's ranch to make Kaylee's books more authentic. Kaylee decides to act more outgoing like one of her book characters and finds that she is having a great time. She makes lots of new friends and even maybe love. How can she return to her dull, drab life now. Lovely book full of wonderful characters.

"Cowboy Ever After' by Jennie Marts was absolutely delightful. The development of the characters, with their insecurities and past histories was realistic and relatable. It was wonderful to delve into the location, life on the ranch and two darling dogs in Gladys and Cooper. I hope there is more in the future, maybe about Faye and Dean.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

Cowboy Ever After is a delightful romance book that is perfect for romance readers and junkies. It follows Kaylee Collins a western romance reader with the most adorable corgi(Gladys) who writes romance in setting she hasn't been there. Her editor sends her to a ranch where she must gain experience to aid her in romance book and there she finds more than she bargained for. Oh mayn, the author did a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life and the setting was picturesque and the dogs were a good addition and dang if you love dogs you will be talking about tis book for a while

I absolutely enjoyed this book and the cravings for carrot cake are totally normal. I received a complimentary copy from Hallmark Publishing and all opinions expressed are entirely my own

Kaylee Collins lives in Chicago and writes romance set in Montana. She uses google to research her books; her agent sends her to Montana to a ranch owned by the agent's brother. Luke Montgomery was not looking forward to hosting Kaylee.
Kaylee decides to channel her book character to get thru experience. Kaylee is learning a lot about Montana and also about Luke.
This is a really great story line and Kaylee seems to bloom around Luke and gain her own self confidence.

4 Cowboy Ever After Stars🤠🌟

Cowboy Ever After is a sweet small town romance between a romance author, Kaylee and a cowboy, Luke❣️ Luke’s sister Faye is an editor for Kaylee and persuades her to spend a week with her brother Luke on their ranch in Montana. Kaylee is scared of stepping outside her comfort zone, but eventually succumbs to Faye’s persuasion😉

When Kaylee arrives though, things don’t go as well as she’d hoped and Luke sets her to work on the ranch and other fun filled activities😁 Suffice to say the characters were entertaining and on occasion funny and I enjoyed the storyline and the few surprises the author had for us.

I received an advanced copy via Netgalley and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️

I enjoy reading romance novels about about author's. It's nice getting a different perspective. Kaylee has to summon her inner Sassy (fictional character in Kaylee's romance novels) quite often. It's kind of cute. Luke falls in love with Kaylee, Sassy is just an extra bonus. Cowboy Ever After, is a lighthearted romance novel.

I loved this book, it was such a fun read. I loved how it feel like the author took you behind the scenes of what its like to be a writer and throws a twist in it. I loved Kaylee she was so vulnerable but she also had such a huge heart and could see only the best in those she met. It felt like she only wanted to leave those she met better than she found them. Luke had his guard up almost the whole book but it did not take from the story or him showing who he was as a person. He never really came off like a jerk which I expected he came off more caring and reserved. I liked the friendship between Luke and Dean and I loved Emma she came off like an old soul with a lot of sweet soul and honesty coming out. Overall this was a fun read and I could not put it down. I really can't say much negative about this book other than I was left wanting more. :-)

This is a new to me author and I enjoyed the story overall. It was very much a Hallmark story. The plot is sweet with the big city girl finding out she loves the ranch life and the rancher who owns it and an ending that is predictable to be sure. The only question is, how many twists and turns will there be on the path to their happily-ever-after. And there were some things that surprised me.

I liked Luke as a hero I think. He was pretty swoony. And Kaylee I could kinda relate to since I'm not adventurous and I'm happy in my staid and boring life. Her personality is cute, especially in her most uncomfortable moments. There were some funny situations for them to navigate.

I think my favorite character may have been Bear. Will one get to see a love story for him in a future book?

I think if you enjoy Hallmark movie and book romances, you'll likely enjoy this book too.

No sex, language or violence

WOOOAHHH, I have no words. I LOVE small town western romances. Is it because of 14 year old me being obsessed with Travis in Hannah Montana the movie? Absolutely. Kaylee is a author of western romance from Chicago, her books aren't doing as well as they used too. In order to push her to her fullest creative ability, her agent ships her off to a Montana ranch. Of course there is a hot cowboy waiting, recently "widowed". Kayla is your typical city-girl, her attempts at blending in consists of buying the flashiest glitter cowgirl shoes and hat, paired with a neon pink shirt. I had so much fun reading about her encounters with the animals at the farm, and her little corgi!

The author does an amazing job at writing a clean romance that still has you longing for more. The tension, irresistible chemistry, long stolen glances all make up the perfect combination for this romance book.

If you do love western romance, but smut isn't really for you I would recommend this so much! A sweet romance that will knock you off your feet, quite literally if you´re not used to horsebackriding :)))

Cowboy Ever After by Hallmark Publishing is a sweet clean novel set in the hills of Montana.

Kaylee Collins is all city girl. A popular writer of western fiction, she knows nothing about country life. Her editor sends her to her family ranch in Montana to gain experience in ranch life.

Luke Montgomery isn't thrilled that his sister has shackled him with this inexperienced city slicker. But something about Kaylee sparks him back to life after losing his wife.

This was a lovely story, typical of Hallmark Publishing, A feel good, clean romance with humor as Kaylee overcomes her fears and is drawn to Luke.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from Hallmark Publishing and NetGalley. All views expressed are my honest opinion.

Kaylee is a romance writer. She writes about cowboys, ranches, farms and horses and all kinds of things but she has never been to a ranch. She googles everything and her writing lacks the realism that she would get if she goes to a farm and experiences these things.

Her editor, Faye, sends her to Luke's (Faye's brothers farm). This way she experiences these things first hand and it will make her writing feel more realistic. Kaylee is an introvert and doesn't get out much. She tries to take Faye's advice and act like her fictional character Sassy.

Love the book and couldn't put it down. I think you will enjoy it too.

This story has a writer who is a city dweller, she enjoys her time with her dog and just doing things her way. Now though she has been told by her editor that her stories about the west are not arcuate, so she is to go to the editor's family's ranch in Montana. Really not wanting to go she agrees and drives to Montana.
Lule Montgomery was told by his older sister that a writer was coming to stay with him, not or can’t tell her no he no knows he can make her days unbearable so she will leave real soon. Upon their arrival, he first is taken back by her dog Gladys a corgi wondering what happened to her legs? It does not get any better for he has decided to make weenies and beans for dinner. What surprises him the most is she is okay with that.
The next morning she is up early and meets him outside to help with the chores. She has channeled the spirit of her heroine from her stories to give her courage. Surprised to see and he is equally surprised by her willingness to work. He is shocked when he sees her feet at the end of the day and is surprised that she did not complain. Read this wonderful book and see how it turns out and whether or not she goes back to the city. A very good book.

Thank you NetGalley, Jennie Marts and Hallmark Publishing for the ARC Cowboy Ever After. This is my personal review.
This book was a fresh clean romance that will leave anyone who reads it feeling you have just read a great Hallmark movie.
Kaylee was sent to Montana by her editor to get a new look on life, and this was the thing she needed. She had to get the feel of farm and cowboy life.
Luke was not what Kaylee expected to meet. Luke is a widower and is not looking for someone to fill that void.
The connection between the two is amazing. This is a book that I could read over and over and always feel the same about Kaylee and Luke.

I really loved reading Cowboy Ever After by Jennie Marts. I love Hallmark Publishing.

So sweet and absolutely charming. This story will surely warm your heart. As will the main characters, Kaylee and Luke.
Kaylee is a writer and lives in Chicago and is advised by her editor to take some time off to visit the beautiful cowboy country of Montana and learn more about the 'cowboy' and farm life that she writes about in her novels.
Luke runs the ranch and is happy in his small town life but he is still grieving the death of his wife. Luke's sister thinks he can help Kaylee out with her story about life on a ranch and cowboys and this is where the story became so much fun to read and so charming. I loved the authors writing style and really enjoyed this book.
Kaylee overcomes her own self doubt and a new world opens up with living the life she writes for her characters.
I sure hope this book is turned into a Hallmark movie!!

Thank you to NetGalley for an advanced readers copy in exchange for an honest review.
