Things have not been going well lately for Molly. Her fiancé dumped her at her best friends rehearsal dinner. Broken hearted, Molly takes an assignment as a travel vet in Emerald Cove FL. She takes an interest in one of her unique patients, a loggerhead turtle and the handsome gentleman that runs the turtle rescue. As the two grow closer together sparks fly but with time running out on her temporary assignment, will Molly be willing to risk her heart again?

I love hallmark and having them coming out with books is delightful. I love the scenery with the beautiful weather and scuba diving that they do. For it being a hallmark movie there wasn’t the warm fuzzies I’m used to feeling. That being said I enjoyed the book just not enough to re read it.

This was a great book. It is a very light romance novel based on a good old fashioned love of feelings and hand holding. I actually felt this book so light in romance may be more suited to the genre women's fiction. I have actually rated this book as a 3.5 star read rounded up as it was better than a 3 star.

I loved the cover and got excited when I realised the main female was a vet. But other than looking after the health of turtles there wasn't much more to her job. I really thought the title should of been more like turtle love as the book evolves around the protection of sea turtles. 

The characters were nice but could of been more developed more to love them. It had all the right elements to be a fantastic book but it was just a nice average relaxing read especially with its slow burning pace. If you love nice relaxing summer read then this book would be great for you. You can always try a sample to see if it's the perfect fit for you. I would of liked a bit more umph in the story and characters.

I enjoyed this sweet, clean, beach romance enough to finish it and root for Molly and Grant. What would bump it up a star or two for me would be less back and forth “should I be in love, should I move on” and if the narration was a bit more personal. I was often reminded that I was reading, which distracted from the story. Overall it was a fun weekend read that ended in the anticipated HEA Hallmark is known for.

I love how Magee made sure to include a group or refreshing characters that support Molly and Grant through the good and the bad. The kind of friends who will join you for a cup of coffee every morning before you set foot in the real world.

This is a lovely story with good characters and settings. Sea turtles included. The main part is based on a real life situation and how will things turn out. Read and enjoy this wonderful book. 5 stars.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book from the characters to the adorable sea turtles and everything in between.  Dr. Molly Lawrence pulled me right into the story with her broken heart and she intrigued me with her new traveling vet assignment in Emerald Cove, Florida for three months and then on to another new adventure.  I wondered how she would not get attached to the friends that she would make and if she would be able to leave when her time was up. The book did not disappoint me. I would love to return to Emerald Cove for another book about one of the other characters like maybe Mateo.  I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

There is just something so sweet about Hallmark books and adding turtles to it made it even a sweeter story. I loved the story of these two characters and despite having entirely different past they both still were having to learn how to love and move forward in life. While I do wish we would have gotten a little bit more of Mollys backstory I enjoyed the book as a whole.

The Beach Escape is a fun, lighthearted summer read from Hallmark Publishing. It's absolutely what I have come to expect from Hallmark. Sweet and fun, perhaps a little predictable but in the very best way possible. If Hallmark movies aren't your cup of tea, this likely won't be either... but if you're like me and enjoy those types of sweet romances, you'll absolutely adore it.

Sometimes, I just need something a little lighthearted fun romance books. I read this one after a few more serious suspense stories that felt a little too true to life. I just needed an escape. And yes, this one lived up to it's name! I've never had any major interest in sea turtles... nor have I ever found myself wanting to take a trip to Florida, and yet this one sparked an interest in both. The turtles were such a great addition and really helped to make this sweet story all that much better. The chemistry between Molly and Grand was so enjoyable to read, and I so enjoyed their adventures together. I found myself not quite ready to leave Emerald Cove when the story ended, which is always a good sign in a book. It was just the type of beach escape that I needed, and one that truly would be a great Hallmark movie too! If you're looking for a great beach read, this one is certainly one to check out too.

This is a Romance. The two main characters were just so cute and they fit together so well. I loved all the characters in this book. I also loved all the ocean and sea turtles scenes in this book. The romance in this book was super cute and sweet. I found this book to just be a light and fun read. Great Summer Read. I did not love the audiobook of this book, so I ended up just reading the kindle edition of this book. I liked one of the audiobook narrators, but I did not like the other one. I was kindly provided an e-copy and e-audiobook of this book by the publisher (Hallmark Publishing) or author (Rachel Magee) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

What a sweet read is The Beach Escape by Rachel Magee. Molly Lawrence may need an escape but readers will also feel that they have gotten a vacation too. Emerald Cove, Florida was such a wonderful place to go with Molly. This plot of “friends to more” story is a treat.

Molly is working a short-term veterinarian assignment in Florida where she meets Grant Torres and his sea turtle rescue. New adventures new animal interaction and care, new friends and perhaps a new love beginning all await Molly in this story.

I have found that I can count on the Hallmark Publishing to deliver a well-written sweet, light, and hopeful story. While this s a newer author for me to read, it did not disappoint but met my expectations. A mini vacation packed inside of The Beach Escape just waiting for readers everywhere anytime of the year.

This was such a delightful and charming read with all the cosy feelings. I’m a sucker for an animal in a story so the fact that this included a turtle rescue and rehabilitation centre was the icing on the cake. Molly and Grant are great characters and their love story was sweet and heartwarming. All in all a great book.

When Molly takes a job on the coast of Florida as a traveling veterinarian, she ends up also becoming the vet for a local sea turtle rehabilitation clinic. Her sole purpose for taking the temporary position was to avoid getting attached to any new people or places. But turtle clinic director Grant wastes no time in pulling out all the stops to win her over, convincing her that adventures can be fun. But can Molly put her past aside and learn to let people in again? I absolutely loved the focus on the sea turtles and watching them recover throughout the story. The characters were all so welcoming to Molly and I love how they all cheered each other on. I wish I could be a member Emerald Cove too, after all who wouldn't want to work at the turtle hospital? When Molly has the opportunity to be a fill in veterinarian for a Dr. on maternity leave in small, cozy Emerald Cove, the timing is perfect. After being left by her fiance, it's a great chance to get away.
When she walks into one of the exam rooms, she wasn't expecting to meet a very handsome, Grant, who runs the turtle rescue & rehab center. It's a bit of instant attraction for both of them.
Grant has a favor to ask her about coming to the rescue to do a check up on Chompers. (love this part of the story).
Grant & Molly are both such caring people with a love of animals and their well being. Fate might have just brought two people together that are meant to be.
This is such a charming, delightful, heartwarming sweet romance story. I loved the description of the cozy town, the rescue center and learning so much about turtles and sea animals.
I think I just found a new author who's books I will enjoy reading more of.

The Beach Escape by Rachel Magee is a wonderful, feel-good, and contemporary romance that gives us the sweet story of a wonderful romance and an adorable happily ever after. I loved it!

This is such a cute, romantic, realistic, and relaxing romance between two perfectly made for each other characters. Molly and Grant truly make each other happy, and through their relationship, healing, forgiveness, hope, life, and romance blooms.

Such a laid back and ideal backdrop of Emerald Cove, Florida with its beachy feel, charming residents, and precious sea turtles. One can’t help but cheer for both characters from the very beginning.

A perfect Hallmark romance that needs to be made into a movie!

This is the first book I’ve read from this author and it’s a perfect beach read. Molly, a traveling vet, takes an assignment in Emerald Cove, Florida, while the normal vet is on maternity leave. She’s not looking for romance, since she recently had a broken engagement. She’ll do her stint and move on to the next place. Grant with ECTRR-Emerald Cove Turtle Rescue and Rehab comes to see if Molly can come and look at Chompers, a loggerhead turtle. While there, he asks if she’d fill in for Dr. Lacey. She agrees in exchange for him showing her around once or twice a month. Molly comes to love working with the turtles and Grant isn’t too hard on the eyes. If you enjoy sweet romances with wonderful characters, you won’t be disappointed with this clean read.

The Beach Escape by Rachel Magee is a wonderful love story. I loved learning about the turtles and their rehabilitation process to get the turtles back swimming again. Molly and Grant love story was special. Read the story you will love it.

Molly and Grant meet when she is the locum vet in town. They connect, but she is just out of a relationship, and will either of them be staying in town anyway?
A great read - I like how it is told from both their points of view.

I enjoyed reading this book. It's a light hearted easy read romance novel. I managed to read this in 2 sittings. It's about a vet who put a stop to her wedding and decides to pack up and just to temporary relief jobs do she doesn't stay in one place.....she wants to find herself again. What she doesn't realise is that her Mr right is just round the corner.
