Lisa Regan does it again! This book was absolutely amazing, better than he previously released book from last year. As a longtime reader of this series, I really loved getting to see a personal take on the Chief. I thought I knew where it was heading, but once again Lisa knocked me off my feet with the twist. Well done.

The cover of Watch Her Disappear by Lisa Regan states A totally gripping crime thriller packed with mystery and suspense. Does it live up to that? YES!

It's nice to see another side to Chief Chitwood. One of the best scenes was Amber bringing Chief Chitwood a coffee and the reaction from the other characters in the book. The scene made me chuckle.

And, oh wow, the last part of the book made me cry. Lisa Regan has such a profound way of making a scene come to life and evoking so many emotions. I felt as if I were right there alongside the characters.

Watch Her Disappear had great writing and great character development.

I need more Josie Quinn. What a great addition to the series. I cannot wait for the next installment. I highly recommend this book and this series.

Another enthralling Josie Quinn mystery! This is the fourteenth in the series and they just keep getting better.

On prom night, a girl dressed in a gown is found stabbed to death outside the prom.
Was it a disgruntled boyfriend? Or, is there a serial killer afoot? And, what does this murder have to do with another one decades ago?

In this story, Josie is still sad about the death of the grandmother who raised her, but there are positive signs that she is healing. Josie’s close knit team, which includes her husband, Noah are all here, and we learn more about the history of their chief who looms large in this mystery.

I really like the Josie Quinn series and typically stay up late to finish each one I read because I can’t put them down! Josie is a strong, capable female protagonist.

This can work as a standalone, but I encourage those new to this series to dig and read some of the prior ones.

If you like well written police procedurals/thrillers, and are not familiar with Lisa Regan, I recommend her. I can’t wait for the next one!

Another great story from Lisa Reagan.
Thanks netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read this book, it was really great could not put it down.
Detective Josie Quinn and her team were investigating the murder of missing girls, all the girls had problems at home and they all disappeared during the night, leaving everything behind.
We’re they being brain washed to leave, and why were they all the same age of 15 and being killed on the day of their 16 th birthday.
The girls all had slashes on their arms was this significant.
Wonderful book, loved it.

I love the Josie Quinn books so much! Every time I finish a book I just want more! As soon as I started reading I knew it was going to be another winner.. Its full of twist and turns, and emotional turmoil.. It keeps you guessing from the first page to the last.. and as soon as you think you might have everything figured out.. Boom. Something happens to turn everything upsidedown.

I love all the characters, and especially loved that in this book we get to peek into Chief Chitwoods past.. I really liked seeing him finally open up to someone. I love the rythm that everyone has as they work together to solve these horrible crimes.
I hope this series goes on for a long time and we get so much more of Josie and the police gang..

Another exceptional book in the Josie Quinn series. I have read and enjoyed every book and this was no exception. Edge of your seat thriller with plenty of twists and great likeable characters make for a brilliant read. I can't wait for the next instalment. I highly recommend this book and author 1000%.

Lisa Regan is a new-to-me author. I’m coming in on book 14 of the Detective Josie Quinn series. That just means I have to go back and catch up because I really enjoyed my first read by her.

The bodies are piling up and the clues are few. What connection is there to the current Chief of Police, Robert Chitwood? Josie and her team are tracking down all leads and the race is on when they determine there’s yet another girl missing who might still be alive, if they can locate her in time.

Corruption, drama, suspense, danger, warped logic, and more!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Josie is back for another edge of your seat, non stop thrill ride! In Watch Her Disappear Josie is called in to investigate a dead body at a high school prom, she is posed with such care, as to look like she is sleeping. The cause of death a stab wound to her femoral artery. Now Josie and her team are on the case. Soon this case takes an even more interesting twist as slash marks are found on her wrists, was she a cutter or something else? Also she was found on the day of her 16th birthday.. Soon another body turns up same slash marks on her arm, but yet different. Also found on her 16th birthday. Do they have a serial killer on their hands? Then the most chilling connection is an unsolved murder from 25 years ago……you need to read this book to find out what happens!! I really loved this book, the mystery and storyline are top notch in this 14th book of an amazing series!! Mrs Regan is at the top of her game with this book, proving she is on par with such great authors as J.D Robb and James Patterson!! I highly recommend this book and series to everyone who enjoys a great mystery thriller!!!
I received an ARC from NetGallery in exchange for an honest review all opinions are my own.

As I have come to expect, this is another stellar mystery artfully crafted by Lisa Regan. It is a tightly woven suspense with great twists to keep the reader guessing. The cast of characters are masterfully written with depth and heart. This entire series is outstanding and this book is an amazing addition.

Chief of police Bob Chitwood is a man who doesn't talk about himself so Josie knows something serious has happened when he opens up to her. In fact he has details of a possible serial killer who has been operating under the radar for decades. This may be Josie's most difficult case yet.
I love a good crime thriller and can always count on Lisa Regan to deliver. Her books have to be started early in the evening because I can guarantee that I won't put one down until the last page. This was no different, I was biting my nails with the tension way into the early hours of the morning. In fact if I could I would give this particular book 6, stars.

Watch Her Disappear (Detective Josie Quinn #14) by Lisa Regan is another thriller not to be missed for all Detective Josie Quinn fans! I love to read all the Josie Quinn books in this series. Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book.
Imagine how shocking it would be for a teenage couple to stumble upon the body of another student on prom night! Josie is determined to find the person who stabbed the beautiful girl and left her to die alone. No one at the school recognizes or knows the identity of the girl. Josie notices the chief seems troubled as he looks upon the scene.
Chief of Police Bobby Chitwood must go to his obnoxious father for answers to solve this case. He suspects there is a link between Josie's current case and the murder of his sister years ago when his father was chief of police. Detective Josie and Police Chief Bobby are soon working non-stop following clues of long-hidden secrets to identify and find the serial murderer. There is a bit of a shock at the end for Chief Bobby!

4.5⭐

Watch Her Disappear, book fourteen in the brilliant Detective Josie Quinn series is a spellbindingly good crime thriller. That was full of twists, intrigue, and suspense as Josie and the team are called to investigate the murder of a teenager at prom only to discover the teenager isn't known to the school and her cause of death has striking similarities to an unsolved case from twenty-five years ago.

And as the case becomes extremely personal for one member of the team, and more bodies and missing teenagers are identified Josie and her chief set out on an edge-of-your-seat road trip to catch a killer and hopefully rescue their latest victim before its too late.

I would definitely recommend.

Josie Quinn, Lisa Regan's fabulous detective, has herself a new partner of sorts in this novel... Normally paired with an incredible supporting cast of Noah, Gretchen, or even Mett at times, in Watch Her Disappear, Josie is paired with the Chief... and all the baggage and feelings that go along with it. Initially, there are called to the local high school to investigate the death of a student, but no one at the school seems to know her. And then, the Chief takes Josie to his garage where he's been working on a very similar case for many years. And, this one has very painful family ties. The dynamic between Josie and the Chief is outstanding... Ms. Regan wrote the dialog between the two so realistic, and at times painful. You will not be able to put this novel down. It's such a fantastic read... this is one of my all-time favorite series!

Two dead girls in the present, linked to a dead girl in the past and another girl missing make Josies newest case an exciting read.

As always it never gets boring with Josie and her team, with new developments every few pages. I especially liked how the Chief played a central role in this book and Josie learned more about his life. There were a lot of revelations especially towards the end, but my favorite part was the discovery on the very last page. I’m curious on how things will develop in the future.

This was a great book, I read it entirely in one evening because I just couldn’t put it down. I’m really looking forward to Josies next case!

I would like to thank NetGalley, Bookouture and the author Lisa Regan for supplying a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for letting me read this brilliant book

a young teenager is found dead at a prom....murdered

there are elements to this murder that sends josies boss into a tailspin and on a hunch quinn and her boss travel back to his hometown and face his father in an old cold case that was investigated years ago by his corrupt father who just happened to be the investigating officer...

but as ranks close getting any information is going to be difficult, but time is against them as another girl is coming up to the danger period and could at any minute turn up murdered

can josie and her team gather together all the threads needed to pull this case together and link it to the cold case that has significant inpact on all the lives surrounding josie and her team and how will the dynamics change now that josie and her boss know each other a bit better...

interesting reading and it was nice to get to know josies boss a bit more, cant wait to see how this impacts on the next book in this series

Series stays strong while Josie and her team battle police politics while hunting down the bad guys! Great team of characters and solid investigative mystery - recommend the entire series, but you can read it stand alone.

Watch Her Disappear (Detective Josie Quinn Book 14) by Lisa Regan. I thoroughly enjoyed book #14 in the Josie Quinn series. More background and an insight into the personal side of Chief Chitwood. The manner in which Ms Regan describes horrific scenes without focusing on the gore and extreme violence is an art in itself. One feels the trauma of the crimes instead of just reading about it. As always looking forward to the next book in the Josie Quinn series.

Thank you to Ms Regan, Bookoutre and NetGalley for the opportunity to preview the book.

A brilliant read. Best book this year so far. Another great journey in the lives of Josie and Noah and their colleagues. I did not expect the ending. A lot of emotion in this story. Clear a space once you start you won’t want to stop.

thanks to the publisher, author, Netgalley- for an honest review

I've been a fan of Lisa Regan since her first Claire Fletcher title. I've tried to keep up over the years but I have missed many in between the third Josie Quinn and this one, the 14th. I would not recommend doing this because of missing important details concerning Josie, her family, and her network of coworkers. I did however pay very close attention to the plot and I was able to enjoy this one, despite my disadvantage. I'm going to try to go back and catch up on at least some of the missed titles.

Once again, Josie Quinn is faced with a difficult case in her hometown Denton, PA. Someone has murdered a teenaged girl on Prom Day for all the local high schools. Further investigation shows that she wasn't the first stabbing murder of teens in the area over the years. Chief Bobby Chitwood, who is a fixture in the stories and known for being aloof and gruff with the staff, shows a humble, human side to his personality in this installment, has a connection to the cases, and teams up with Josie, Gretchen and the team to find justice for the girls. The story ratchets up to an intense and page-turning ending. Recommended for fans of contemporary mystery suspense. 4/5
