This book was requested when I was young and requested more books than I could possibly read. Sadly, I no longer have access to this book and my tastes have changed. Thus I will not be able to give feedback on this title.

A controversial woman and subject matter. Too many jokes and assumptions and theories for me to even finish this.

Who was Anne Boleyn and why do we find her so fascinating long after she lived and died. Bordo's book offers a unique look at the mythology of Anne, and goes a long way to debunking the myths, which is a refreshing change.
However, Bordo's portrayal of herself as the more knowledgeable proponent of the redemption of Anne Boleyn, and her disparaging of other writes leaves one with a bad taste.
