Gorgeous, regency on the run romance. A swoon worthy hero and a bluestocking that turns out to be irresistible. The Book of Love strikes again, this time for Donal and Lucy. I enjoyed their journey and enticing banter. It was enjoyable, fun and romantic and tugged at the heart strings.

Someone is trying to kill her but she has no idea why and now she is on the run, being protected by an Agent of the Crown. Lucy Lessing has always felt unwanted by her family and so whilst she is attracted to Donal, she cannot afford to believe any of his compliments as she is sure it is just a ploy. Loved the bookish, innocent Lucy who constantly stretched Donal’s limits with her need to understand the Book of Love. Recommended read.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Someone is trying to kill Lucy and Donal is asked by his boss to keep her safe. They spend several weeks together on the run with the Book of Love. The book works it’s magic once again. I received an ARC from NetGalley and Dragonblade Publishing for my honest review.
