I downloaded this kit to garner some ideas for my own book club. I thought it was great! It's extremely thorough. I absolutely loved the design; it's quite clever how they made the author's interview look like text messages to tie in with the book. I also really loved how it recommended similar books to read next. The section about open communication and mental health resources is a great resource for parents and teens alike. Very impressed overall with this kit!

This kit is awesome! It has been so helpful for our book club. We love to read and we love to talk, but sometimes it’s hard for someone to talk about what they read. The questions give great starting points that usually lead to more discussion. It’s also nice to get special information about the book from the author. It makes everything feel a little bit more special. I will say, hands down, my favorite part is the food and drink recipes. Such a great addition that everyone loves! This is great for existing book clubs, but also a great starting point to start something new! I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.

I've never been involved in a book club, but after reading and studying the activity, I may be open to participating in a group discussion. The suggested book was a Disney publishing and titled The Rumor Game by Dhonielle Clayton and Sona Charipotra., the book was targeted to the Young Adult readers., no doubt the recommendation would work with any book and any age group.

This book club kit for the Rumor Game contains a content warning, a fun texting-based author interview, a discussion guide, and some cool bookmarks. I enjoyed the suggested next reads, and adult and teen guide to open communication. A very thorough and well put-together kit!

I absolutely loved the Kit and how well it played to the theme of the book. The guide for book discussions is a must, it helps to keep everything organized. It was very well put together, from recommendations to references for parents and talking to their teens, to the bookmarks. Definitely recommend kits for book clubs.

I requested this thinking it was the actual book but that was my fault . I never really used a book club guide before but this made me more interested in using these in the future. I felt that the author interview was the perfect length to keep you engaged but not get bored. I also really liked how they included similar books to pick up after reading this book and I thought the bookmarks were a great addition as well. I also like how there is a resource page as well for any sensitive subjects in the book.

This is a phenomenal book club resource. I cannot wait to get my book club to read this novel so we can use this resource. Thankfully its next on the list!!

This book club kit has many options for focus depending on how your book club operates. The Q&A with the authors is informative and introduced some why’s and perspectives I hadn’t even pondered. I like that there are separate questions and content for teens and adults/parents. Due to the various hot topics explored in the book, I really liked the fact that there’s a section listing various resources for those dealing with any of these issues who need help beyond what’s available at home or school. The more we can improve access to resources the better, so I appreciate that. The bookmarks were a cute touch, especially the one with the affirmation quote although as an e-kit it seemed odd to have pictures of physical bookmarks.

What is the book The Rumor Game about?
In this book we meet Bryn - Bryn used to have it all, she used to be super popular, she used to have the perfect boyfriend she used to have a bright future in politics, and she she used to be the cheer captain. But then one little mistake sparked a fire, which sparked a scandal, which burnt everything that she had down.

But now it is the start of a new school year, the school has moved on from Bryn and has now moved on to Georgie who used to be a geeky student but has come back to the school term with a summer makeover and she is now the hottest student in town, and she is the name on everyone's lips. But with the newfound fame also comes new found enemies and she suddenly is the target of some malicious rumours.

Suddenly Bryn, Cora and Goergies lives are all begining to become entwined and starting to unravel.

It's a really great, edgy, coming if age story and if you haven't read it I highly recommend it.
