This was a wonderful introduction to Shamanism. I felt it covered a wide array of topics for a beginner but gave enough detail to have a good understanding. Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for granting me access to an e-arc.

I chose this book to help me as I continue my Spiritual Journey. I can’t really say much about the book one way or the other. I do feel like most of the story points were covered already in my journey, so I felt myself and Spirit Team urging me on past “The Basics.” Yet, I also don’t think this book should be considered as “The Basics.” I’ve definitely read and reviewed better books that detail the basics of a Spiritual Journey. Parts of this book felt overly simplified almost to the point of being insulting to the reader. It wasn’t the absolute worst thing I’ve ever encountered, but I wouldn’t recommend it to beginners.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have always been interested in Shamanism as practiced by those other than the courses I have taken. This book IMO is a simple, doable , and understandable sequence of rituals and doings that will lead you to understanding and possibly healing. First all the concepts are explained. How to set up your Altar, your tools, your frame of mind. Its all there. The things you will need are everyday things and not something that will cost you a lot of money to get, Then the practice starts and its given in easy to understand but profound wording. It is obvious that Mr Moler has been doing this work for awhile because just reading his words filled me with confidence and expectation. If you are looking to explore what all people have inside innately then begin this adventure. I am at this moment and enjoying it greatly.
