Seeing that three of my favorite authors were collaborating was exciting, but reading it was a whole different story. I loved the witchy aspects of this story, I do love a good witchcraft book. This was kinda like The Craft but if Disney made it. Very cute.

I really liked this book. It was different but in a good way. The authors did an amazing job bringing me into their world of witchcraft and spells and I am hoping they continue with a sequel!

I thought that this multi author collaboration was both fun and sweet. I suspect that each author took on one of the three friends' stories and I enjoyed them all. All of the stories occur on the same magical night, the first of the friends finds unexpected love when she sets out to use her potion to encourage love in her long time crush and the last story findsthe trio's skeptic admitting magic might actually be real and opening up to the possibility of love. My favorite though, was the second story with the lone guy of the friend trio, artist Ash. Probably due to the fact that being the 2nd story it didn't have to do the set up or the wrap up for the interconnected shorts. And Ash's story also had the big plus of of having a lot of longing at a distance and his inability to even speak around his crush, made his story extra appealing.

So, this was a big 4.5 stars rounded to 5 for me - I really liked it.

The synopsis of this book totally drew me. Three best friends that are know as the Coven? Magic? True love? Yes please to all three!

Onny, True, and Ash are three best friends known as the Coven. They reside in a town called Moon Ridge which is full of magic. But also has a tragic origin story. What happens you ask? A young woman lost her life and wasn’t able to reunite with her one true love. Now every year on Halloween, her spirit comes back to Moon Ridge. All three best friends decide that night is the perfect night to summon true love. The plan? Create a love spell passed down from Onny's grandmother. Will their spell go correctly? Will they able to grasp onto true love? Or will they find different paths and unexpected love.

What I loved:
-almost everything! But seriously I love the origin story, and the Halloween setting. This makes for a perfect Halloween cozy read!
-the AAPI representation. Onny is Filipina, and her Lola (grandmother) is the one who passed down her love spell, and other goodies. I love seeing Filipino representation! This made my heart smile. Now only if I could get my Lola to pass down some cool spells...
-Onny, she was so relatable, and likeable. I could see myself being friends with her. Plus I am also a fan of spooky things.
-Three different love stories for each coven member!


This books is absolutely adorable. I loved so much about it! The friendship between the three is also one I wish I could be part of. I loved the banter, and the funny moments. This book is perfect for anyone who wants a cute book for spooky season. 4 stars our of 5! Thank you Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Wow. This book definitely got me out of my mini reading slump! Once I started this book, I couldn’t put it down.

About halfway through I stopped reading to check out some other reviews. While some people didn’t really like the changing perspectives since it “cut off” the stories, I really liked it.

This book is a collection of three short stories, all that follows a different person in the friend group that are all happening simultaneously. I thought that each story had good pacing and it didn’t drag on.

Each time it went on to the next story I found myself liking that one more than the one prior. The only thing I didn’t really like was the epilogue. I was hoping it was going to be a little further in the future to see where they all ended up, but instead, it was just at the end of the night.

I was smiling way too much at my phone reading this so I will definitely be buying it once it’s out so that I can annotate my own copy.

I quite enjoy stories with myths or with local legend, like this one. The Lady of Moon Ridge walks among the people of Moon Ridge every 100 years and this is the year it’s set to happen. The story is told in three short stories that happen simultaneously over the course of one night. Each version is from a different point of view. We follow Onny, Ash, and True’s search for love. Actually, in True’s case, she’s sworn off relationship and love sneaks up on her. The Halloween vibes were fun - who doesn’t like a good costume party?
The characters were relatable and fun. It was impossible not to root for each of them.
A delightful book by three great authors! Definitely worth the time to read - a truly magical read.

This book was so cute and fun! I loved these three stories of friends finding love and the magic involved. Chokshi, Menon, and Skye did a great job buidling up the magic of the story and making the characters interesting and relatable without losing the heart or the magial mystery of the story and the night!
This is a fun, cute read that will take you no time at all and is the perfect adventure for those of you wishing it was already fall again!

I am not a fan of Halloween so I was a bit weary reading this story but I was excited to see that it's one of those "fun, magical" Halloween stories and not the "scary, eerie" ones. This book tells the story of three best friends who each aim to get their love potion and kiss before midnight. Each section tells the story of one character but they also show up in each other's characters as the evenings always culminate in the same setting (big Halloween bash.)

I loved each of the characters and how they had different energy and were each interesting and lovable in their own ways. I found myself rooting for them each time. My favorite was Ash. I loved the artistic fence, the beautiful masks and the magical cranes. What a lovely story.

If you're like me and would rather read love and fun instead of scary, you will love this story!

The setting of Three Kisses, One Midnight is sublime. The culmination of each story leads to a fantastic Halloween party that takes place in and surrounding a large estate home. Romance and mysticism are palpable in every story and this is definitely a feel-good read and you don’t have to wait until Halloween to appreciate it.

Whoa! What a ride. It was very fast-paced. The writing style kept me hooked and I didn't find myself losing any interest. I enjoyed getting to know each of the characters and how real the story felt. The author did a great job painting the setting, so it was easy for me to visualize the scene played out before me. I recommend giving this one a chance!

First off let me say that the stories and them all interconnected were a good idea. Each one a different couple, and different scenarios. Surprising love, Known love, and new love. I was so ready to absolutely adore this book. Then, I went through the stories. I wasn't sure if it was just the main characters, or the way each book was styled in writing, but I couldn't get into them as much as I wished. I suppose I had more witchcraft in mind when reading it, besides just references to past events and this 'love' potion mentioned but barely touched on besides a little of the first story. So if anything, it felt like it coulda just been a typical YA romance anthology.

The other thing I struggled with was remembering how old the protagonists were. Were they older young adults, younger teens? I still can't even figure it out because one moment they'd feel like a older person, then it'd hit the texting portions and It'd feel like an adult typing how teens would type.

Overall the stories were fine, just not up my alley I suppose.

This a paranormal/fantasy anthology that makes for a quick, romantic read. It has the vibes of those late 90's/early 2000's supernatural tv shows and movies (Charmed, Sabrina, Buffy) in the sense of "I'm different" heroine and a mysterious love interest. But it also has had enough magic for real PR lovers. Overall, it's an enjoyable anthology collection.

3.5 This was a fun read. I loved how atmospheric it was. Three best friends who call themselves the coven plan to use a love potion at the Halloween masquerade ball. The book is split into 3 sections, telling each of their stories that day. I would recommend this to anyone who likes ya books, witchy things, Halloween, and magic.

Super enjoyable YA romance by three authors, two of which I previously enjoyed. This book was a quick read and it was fun. Fans of these authors will enjoy seeing how they do with a shorter piece of writing. Thank you netgalley for this arc in exchange for my honest opinion.

I really loved Onny's tale the best and would read more of her. I liked her family too, I would love to see more of those characters.
I liked Ash & True's story also.
This is a great read for Halloween for teens.

This is a really charming, cute read! It's full of witchy magic as well as plenty of Halloween hijinks. I loved the friendships between Onny, Ash, and True as well as the romantic relationships. Onny’s enemies-to-lovers romance was probably my favorite, but I also adored Ash. There are also some hilarious side characters who appear across all three stories and absolutely steal the show. Readers who enjoy romance with a dash of witchy magic will devour this one. (Bonus points for having a character nicknamed Alexander-the-Great-Looking, which made me laugh every time.)

Balancing on the edge of magic without every truly crossing over, this is a collection of three friends and their very individual experiences with one love potion.

When I picked this one up, I didn't realize that it was a collection of three, individual tales. The first one concerns Onny, the creator of the love potion from her grandmother's recipe, and the other two center around her best friends, one a guy and one a girl, as they use their portion of the potion to find the loves of their lives. It's set in a high school setting, but, obviously, branches to each individual's surroundings. They are sweet, each one taking a slightly different direction, and each one with its very own plot and atmosphere.

From all of the tales, the first one is the one that won me over. I was a little disappointed to find that this swung into three separate tales and, I think, because of that, I had trouble sinking into the second two. Plus, the Onny's tale is what sets the background, one with plenty of heart, and gives her a depth the other two simply can't reach. Plus, the first one is a enemies to lovers situation, something I prefer over the standard, tropes. Still, even these were well done, and it'd be wrong to say they weren't enjoyable.

Fans of romance, high school drama, true friendship, and all of that with a tinsy-dab of magic are going to enjoy this one quite a bit. I received an ARC through Netgalley and enjoyed the short reads.
