A heartfelt small-town romance filled with second chances, family, and healing. 🤍 I loved the cozy setting, the genuine characters, and the way the story balanced grief, love, and hope. Perfect for fans of sweet, wholesome romances that leave you smiling.

When Lorri Walker’s husband gifted her with a mastiff puppy, she believed he was recommitting himself to their marriage after going astray. Six months later, he left both her and their dog for someone else. After moving to Dalton Mill, Lorri’s graphic design business is flourishing, her mastiff has plenty of space to romp, and her ex can fade to a distant memory. Ryder Bolt is haunted by the loss of his wife and young son seven years ago. Thankfully, ranching and spending time with his family keeps him busy. The Wedding Ranch, owned by his niece and nephew, is a destination for celebrations. When Lorri and Ryder met, they weren't looking for love. But, love found them. Can their new relationship survive unknown information revealed about a past event that has shaped both of them?
This was a very intense emotional contemporary romance about forgiveness and the way our pasts affect our futures. Both Rider and Lori have unresolved issues. When they met, they were broken. Love and forgiveness helped them see the new future that lies ahead for them. I love this story because it made me think of my own family and loved ones. The characters and setting were endearing. I wonder if this story is part of a series, because I would love to see what happens next with these characters. I recommend this to anyone who loves a good romance. Thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for this advanced reader's copy. This review is my unbiased opinion.

This is a very sweet, clean Christian romance. Laurie, newly divorced, moves herself and her mastiff, Mister, to Daltons Mill. Rider’s parents have recently sold off a portion of their land in Daltons Mill. Neighbors, they meet at the county fair where Rider saves Laurie from a bull.

Both are overcoming trauma from their past but find their friendship evolving into more. Until they discover how their pasts are connected.

This book was very good. There were a couple of times where a question would have resolved conflict, and assumptions were made that a discussion would have helped.

But I enjoyed this and the ending was great. Thank you to #netgalley and #stmartinspress for the e-copy of #theweddingranch.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for my digital copy in exchange for an honest review. I know myself and I would have requested this book just based on the cover alone...I am glad I did, though, and that it didn't burn me in the end...I liked this one a lot. Everything about it...the characters, the story, the location...actually I was looking up the location to see if it was real or at least based on a real place and I did add it to my list of places I would like to see one day. Turns out this was not the first book I have read by this author and I liked the other one just as much...this will be an author I continue to read until all of them are read :)

Thank you to NetGalley and St Martin's Press/St Martin's Griffin for a copy of this book. All opinions in this review are my own.

This book was extremely well written. However, I had to stop reading about halfway through & this review is based on what I was able to complete.

This book follows two different people as they heal from heartbreak. Lorri Is struggling with divorce after her husband was unfaithful, while Ryder is still processing the loss of his wife and small child. The author does a great job building the characters back stories and really connecting with them. However, the twist, which I'm not sure if you can call it a twist, because I saw the threads that were going to be connecting these characters coming from a mile away, was not something that I was going to be able to handle right now. This is no fault to the author. However, I recognize that I am unable to read this type of story, having experienced my own loss relating to a car accident, as well as, have tangential relationships with the judicial system. I was not going to be able to read this book without being triggered from my own past traumas. Again, this book was well written and the author really pulled you in, but this is not something that I will be able to complete at this time.

This is a well written story by this author. I have only read one other book by Naigle and had forgotten that there was too much christian/religion for me. This is very much a hallmark type book. It would fit to a movie very well. I often times like this but unfortunately this time not so much. The characters were not developed enough and it seemed that nothing was happening.

This is a fun/easy read. Lorri doesn't know the best is yet to come and Ryder is still trying to heal. This is a book that evolves friendship and healing and you get a front row seat to watch.

I love reading Nancy’s books and this one just might be my new favorite book! If you haven’t read it yet then it’s time for you to pick it up and read it to make it your favorite. Thank you for writing such a great book!

The Wedding Ranch was a Hallmark movie in the making, as many other reviewers have commented. After reading the book, the title didn’t really fit, as the ranch itself didn’t play that much into the story, but overall, this was a heartfelt, emotional book that I think many will like. It had a simple, sweet romance between Lorri and Ryder and a happy ending.

The plot twist was one that I guessed early on, so it didn’t have that aha! type of reaction that I look forward to, but the whole story of love and loss, and finding love again made for an emotional read

Many thanks to Netgalley and St. Martin's Press for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

Slow build up but great story. Love scenes are closed door so not overly spicy. Cowboys & small town romances are quickly becoming a favorite of mine.

The concept of this book is a sweet, heart warming idea. I love a lot of Nancy Naigle books, especially her holiday ones.

Due to time I will not be giving a thorough review of this book, but I’m sure it will be a fit for many people out there.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

This is a quick fun read written by a talented and gifted author. She weaves a story that is intriguing while being entertaining...it is a book that is best read cuddled in a favorite chair with a warm afghan and a cup of steaming tea. Quick afternoon...liking the characters...the setting fun...This book was sent to me by Netgalley for review.

This was a heartwarming story about people. After Lorri’s husband blindsides her, she moves to a new home in a new town. As she gets to know the town and those who live there, she meets Ryder. The two become good friends. He can’t move on from the past and Lorri’s not ready for a new relationship. I loved the characters in this book. The storyline was simple, but at the same time so much from the past is there to complicate things for Lorri and Ryder. There’s joy as well as grief throughout the story.

This was a fun small town. cowboy meets girl (and dog) kind of romance. It takes a bit for the story to get going, but once it does the story is enchanting. The themes of divorce and of loss and grief were well done and added to the story rather than detracting. I enjoyed this one a lot, and would recommend it.

Very sweet, second chance at love, small town romance. Really enjoyed seeing them both open their hearts to each other after what they have been through separately, even though you can see the small "twist" coming it was resolved nicely. And normally I'm not a big of of epilogue's but this one wrapped up the story well.

Thank you to Griffin and Netgalley for an e-arc for review (my apologizes that it is so late!)

Lorri finds out her husband is cheating on her but not before be gifts her with a giant Matsiff dog named Mister. Lorri is left to pick up the pieces and decides a move to a small town would be good. She meets Ryder while she’s attending the local fair and sparks fly. Both have things in their past that are obstacles they work to overcome.

This was a sweet, Hallmark type romance. I want a Matsiff dog now! It was a quick and easy read but did deal with a few heavier topics - death, drunk driving and divorce.

3.5 rounded up. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy. Opinions are my own.

Eh. It was ok and the proper amount of mush. I did not think this was a romance but two people learning to find new love with each other after traumatic events and disappoints and learning from mistakes. Read more like a women's literary fiction book.

The actual story was just ok. Not mind blowing or anything special. Just ok.

I cannot personally recommend this book or the author, but I can see why other people may enjoy reading this.
