"The Secret Field" was a fast paced story for me as I got to know Kari and her neighbors. The mystery of the events occuring near Kari's house and around town kept me wanting to know more! I found that Kari was a likeable character and I was invested in her outcome throughout. I also enjoyed how she found a family and support system. Along with the mystery, there were glimpses into environmental law which was interesting to read. Thank you to Susan Dennis and NetGalley for an advanced copy! All thoughts and opinions are my own!

This story was the type if story, at least for me, that pulled me in right away and I felt like I was sucked into the story itself. I couldn't wait to see how will the story develop.

I loved how Kari, as the story went further on, developed and blossomed into a strong person. The other characters were also prominent players in this story. No one felt like they were a third string.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I will sure read other books by this author in the future.

This was a good read, it was well written with a twisty storyline and well developed characters all set against an atmospheriuc setting. It was a compellign read that was unpredictable and left me wondering what was going on. I really enjoyed it.
