It's a great book for Christian women, specially when you are very busy and struggle with spending time with God

The 3 Minute Bible Habit For Women is a book jam packed with quick but rich daily devotions for busy women. Usually quick devotions are skimpy when it comes to including scripture, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how much scripture was included in the devotions in this book. I’d recommend this to any woman, especially busy ones that find it difficult to get into the Word each day.

I was impressed with this as a 3 minute devo for women. I’ve done a lot of them over the years and it’s something I do with my husband every morning because of our busy schedules. I can not emphasize enough how important it is to do something each day. Each. Day.
It’s a game changer for your walk. Journey. Whatever you want to call it. What I liked was the beginning. Very open and honest about how and why the Devo was created. Loved what was said about the NLV translation.
The format was, read God’s word, consider and ponder. That’s it. And the questions are great. Helpful and insightful. I highly recommend this if you’re not doing “something”! Just get it already.

These are very quick devotions - I'm not sure that they clock in at 3 minutes unless one is simply reading the words on the page and then closing the book.

One of the elements I like about is each day has a few verses; it only lists the reference and then is on the reader to look them up.
Another thing I really liked is that the devotion uses the New Life Version translation, developed with missionaries to help spread the word of God in areas where English is not the dominant language. "The secret of its readability is in the limited vocabulary". As a native English speaker, I still found the translation used enjoyable and understandable. I found myself reading familiar verses with a slight shift in perspective and focus; this definitely helped deepen my understanding of God's word.

Each day is organized in a way that truly puts the focus on the Bible and what it says rather than stories/illustrations/insights about the Bible which many devotions do.
The first section, "The Bible Says" contains one or more verses about a particular topic. (My only wish is that the reference would be with each verse, rather than in a list at the end of the section). I appreciate how this centers what God says as the most important aspect of the devotion. The next section is "Consider" which is typical devotion content, directing the reader to insight and knowledge on the verses introduced. Finally, the day's devotion ends with "Ponder" which has two or three questions to answer. I found I needed more time than 3 minutes to read and ponder the reading and verses in order to answer them.

Overall, I do think this is a good devotional to help build the habit of reading God's word everyday.

I received a copy from the publisher via Netgalley; this is my honest review.

The Three Minute Bible Habit for Women is a remarkable devotional walk suitable for new believers, but also, for mature believers as a reminder of our spiritual foundation. The author uses a paraphrase of the Bible that is easy to read and understand while still speaking the truth of the Word. I feel confident that believers can use this devotional to develop a habitual daily spiritual walk, through a short time with the Lord, while also developing a prayer relationship with God the Father through Jesus, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

This devotional for women includes topics like the Bible, verses related to its divine origin, foundational beliefs regarding the Holy Spirit, God’s promises, the Trinity, prayer, the attributes of the Lord, what God wants us to be, how we make our way to Him through Jesus Christ, God’s grace and forgiveness, and what we can look forward to.

Every day is outlined in three sections:
-The Bible Says-scripture for the topic
-Consider-devotional
-Ponder-questions to think about
Additional verses on the topic are also included.
A total of 90 key themes and 450 Bible verses are covered.
A topical index is included at the end of the book.

I received this book from the publisher free of charge with no expectation of a positive review.

I wanted to like this book, I just thought it was very disconnected and not very helpful. I read it several days, and had trouble connecting with the text. I could just as easily open my Bible and read a few pages, and frankly, would likely get more out of it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
In a world filled with chaos and anxious thoughts, this simple 3 minute formula promises to enrich our spiritual lives and help us develop a love for bible reading. “Minute 1: Read God’s Word (“The Bible Says” focuses on a few Bible verses followed by the references for each verse) Minute 2: Unpack God’s Word through a devotional thought (“Consider”) Minute 3: Apply God’s Word to your life (“Ponder” three points)” This is a delightful devotional guide and sure to enrich the lives of its readers.

This book has an interesting set up that I haven't seen before in a devotional, but after reading it, I think I like it. This is a 90 day devotional that you can do in three minutes, or more, depending on how you use it. It's structure is set up with the "three minutes" being used as follows. The title of that days devotional is followed by what "the Bible says" section about that specific topic, followed by a "consider" section that helps you unpack scripture, followed by a "ponder" section that helps you to apply this specific topic to your life. Each devotion is followed by additional verses on that particular topic, and some days, by yet even more scripture. Some devotional topics even spread across two days. You can complete the devotional in as little as three minutes, or even dig deeper in God's Word, depending on what you choose to do, which I just really appreciate the different options presented. Also, there is very little difference between this devotional and The 3 - Minute Bible Habit for Men: A 90 - Day Plan for Daily Quiet Time, except that in the women's devotional, it speaks about women, and in the men's devotional, it speaks about men. Otherwise, it's the same material.

I wanted something basic that would simply put me in the Word, and this 3-Minute Bible Study did just that. Each day, for 90 days, there is a structured plan that includes five verses, a thought to consider, and then more verses are provided in case you decide to study further. I like that the verses are taken from both testaments and the questions posed are varied enough to capture a response from just about anyone reading, regardless of their level of spiritual maturity. I can see where this would easily pave the way for creating a regular, daily, Bible study.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley and all opinions expressed are solely my own, freely given.
