This was a fun and cute read for me. At first, I was like mm no means no, but when you get into more of the story you see that Sakura actually legitimately likes Sawa and isn't forceful/toxic at all. I feel like if I read this manga when I was younger, I would've definitely related a bit more. Sawa as a main character and her shyness totally reminds me of myself from years ago. I love the artwork! Def a cute read

This book begins its story very abruptly. It started with Sawa who was talking about her recent breakup with her jerk ex-boyfriend to a friend before Sakura overheard the conversation and immediately confessed his feelings. I believe the mangaka had a different idea for starting the book as it is, but I feel like it ruined the chemistry between the 'potential lovers' since it was rushed.

Loved everything about this manga, from the characters to the story line. I wanted to keep reading it. I also liked how the characters in the manga were drawn, the style of drawing is cute and it was nice to look at.

It's that time again! Manga Monday. Next up on my list is Sakura's Dedication Vol. 1. This one looked super cute, and sometimes that is good enough for me.

Not all relationships last. Unfortunately, that is a lesson that Sawa just learned the hard way after having to break up with her cheating (now ex) boyfriend. The responsible thing to do now would be to take time for herself and heal.

Only Sakura has another plan in mind. He quickly makes his move, confessing his love to Sawa. Her rejection isn't enough to deter him, as he shows his unending dedication to their potential romance.

Um. I don't like that Sakura's Dedication Vol. 1 essentially reinforces the whole "ask her out until she says yes" idea. It isn't healthy. I was hoping for a cute or heartwarming story, and instead, all I got was creep vibes.

To sum up: Sakura waited until Sawa was recently single (and emotionally compromised), didn't take her no for an answer, and constantly approached her. Worse, I didn't get the impression that they were all that close before this, meaning it wasn't worth his time to get to know her until she was single. I don't like that vibe, not at all.

It's a cute story, the beginning is a bit awkward but then you move on with the two of them and see how cute Sakura cares for Sawa. Maybe i am a bit bias because some scenes reminded me how my boyfriend treats me and makes sure he loves me so yeah i am excited to see volume 2

This is a cutesy shojo romance. Its cute but the instant love trope felt a bit too fast for my liking and i wished more development happened before the falling in love cuz man, not digging the romance much. The artstyle is what i expected and i like it.

Ahh this book was super cute! I had a wonderful time reading this manga, I would definitely purchase it and read the full series as it's released. Look forward to reading more.

Sakura's Dedication was an adorable shojo manga. It follows young high school girl, Sawa, after she dumps her cheating boyfriend. After deciding she is done with men she receives a heart felt confession from her classmate, Sakura. Not knowing how to turn down such well meaning confession she initially rejects him, but Sakura doesn't give up. What is a girl to do with so many heart felt confessions?

was not my favorite. While there were some cute moments there was not a lot to the story. Was very abrupt, repetitive and pushy at times.

Sawa and her no-good boyfriend have just broken up. Her friends ask her what's next and she's not sure. She just knows she wants a nice boyfriend if she's even into the idea of dating at all. Surprise! Her classmate Sakura confesses his feelings to her. She turns him down. He tries again and again until finally she gives in and gives it a go. Surprise again! This nerd is super sweet and patient.

And that's about it for this Shojo. Sawa is spending this volume getting used to having a nice, sweet boy who waits patiently for her to come around as she works through her feelings of what love is and is not. She also is navigating the issues of dating the class nerd because obviously her friends are totally going "you're not into HIM, are you?" The pace of their romance moved quickly and there was a kiss by the end of volume one, but it doesn't feel 100% sincere from her end. She likes him, she likes he's patient, and she gets butterflies, but like, that's it? This is typical shojo fare that feels like it rushes to catch your attention so you'll keep reading.

It's hard to write a review for a manga that is just so much like other "school girl love dramas" and there's only so much I can handle. I do like that Sakura is patient with her, which she obviously needs, but there's something about her that's off (or maybe it's him). Not to mention the pacing is odd for a manga title like this.

Overall, this title doesn't cover anything new and there are far better titles out there with better staying power. Get this where Shojo is popular, but otherwise, hold off as this is generally forgettable. (Currently ebook only.)

She can't show her affection or express her feelings and he is completely infatuated with her and has no problem telling her just how much he likes her even if it is super cheesy. I feel like maybe this series will get better as more volumes are released but based off this one, not much happens.

The art is very cute I really enjoy their style. It is perfect for a high school romance. And for me it was the only thing that kept my attention while reading.

Though the manga is cute, it lacks a creative story. Though it is not a problem to rehash some old tropes, there is nothing new or exciting about this manga. The characters are ok; they are not the most interesting characters in this trope. The art is the one redeeming factor for me. Hopefully, they develop something more sustainable in the later volumes.

The problem with this manga was that it relied entirely on its cuteness. There was no substance, no integrity. The characters had no personality outside of being cute or obsessive, to the point that the female protagonist flipped from not liking the male love interest to liking him within the space of three pages.

It was all so bland and repetitive. It was also insanely exaggerative with the protagonist acting like a touched-starved, hormonal lunatic who couldn’t even look at her so-called “boyfriend” without cringing with embarrassment. It was only mildly entertaining to read if you could find it within yourself to laugh at stupidity, otherwise it was really just boring.

Many cute moments that just show what young love is. Sawa wasn't expecting this new relationship to make her feel so adamantly about Sakura and that's what I enjoy most, not expecting things and than being blown away with such emotions.
I'm excited to see what volume 2 entails for these two!!

Sawa just had a bad breakup that left her confidence a little shaky, but as soon as her classmate Sakura finds out she's available, he asks her out. Sakura is very forthcoming about his affection and admiration for Sawa, but she has a hard time accepting his compliments and reciprocating his affectionate behavior. She's embarrassed by emotional displays and is worried her aversion to affectionate displays will alienate her love interests. This is a sweet story, and Sakura is respectful and kind about Sawa's preferences and perfectly happy to wait patiently for her to grow more comfortable or just accept her as she is. Lovely artwork. I liked the story showed the fickleness of teenagers and also their ability to use a new relationship as a bandaid for a disappointing old relationship.

Sawa recently breaks up with her boyfriend when sakura confesses his love to her. Sawa is taken back but inevitably falls for me too. The manga follows the journey of their relationship.

I had really high hopes for this manga. I thought it was going to be really good and super cute. While it was cute, the plot fell super flat to me. I found the beginning kinda rushed and weird as Sawa kinda of immediately likes Sakura back. Even though she just broke up with her boyfriend and sakura not being her type. I honestly wouldn’t have requested this manga if I’d known it was an insta love to quite honest. I also didn’t love that their wasn’t any kind of depth. There wasn’t anything to the plot beside them learning that they like each other. But I did think it was cute. I think Sawa character was nicely done. Her shyness around Sakura felt really accurate when you have someone new you like. I also loved the art style. It was what originally drew to me wanting to read the manga.

The plot fell flat, I didn’t like the instalove, and their just wasn’t any kind of depth to be scene. I was honestly really disappointed with this one.
