Thank you to NetGalley, Kodansha, and Fuyu Yukimiya for the opportunity to read this manga in exchange for an honest review.

After her ex breaks up with her, Sawa isn't in the mood for a boyfriend. When Sakura learns the news, he immediately jumps at the opportunity to confess to Sawa that he likes her. He is rather persistent...

In this manga, the relationship between Sawa and Sakura begins rather quickly (which is the opposite of what I expected), and she learns what it really means to have someone care about her and to be in a more serious relationship.

This is a cute, though somewhat generic, high school romance manga perfect for shoujo fans.

I really wanted to like this one, but it felt very middle-of-the-road for me.
Sakura really likes Sawa, but he isn't her type so she turns him down. Sakura promptly declares that she's not interested at that time but that he'll continue to pursue her. He does very calmly, just continually stating the truth in a way that is equal parts charming and a little creepy.
A big part of what made this not stand out too much is that they get together so quickly that Sakura's dedication to pursuing Sawa doesn't even get a chance to get really shown off. They get together really quickly and it's obvious that Sawa doesn't know what to do with the forthright Sakura. It makes for funny little moments of Sawa freaking out and Sakura being the calm in her storm, but I really would have enjoyed it a bit more if there had been just a bit more of a challenge to the getting together.
The art is nice in a very typical shojo fashion that works perfectly with the type of story.

Happy thanks to NetGalley and Kodansha for the chance to discover this new series!

3.5 stars.

The beginning feels really forced and cliche but it gets really cute over time (despite nothing much happening so far). The main girl can be annoying at times with how repetitive she can be about getting embarrassed over how affectionate the main guy is but he's super adorable. Plus, the art style is crazy good too!

Thank you Netgalley for providing me with the digital copy for an honest review.

This manga was not really what I was expecting, but it was still a decent read. I thought Sakura would spend a lot of time trying to win Hanasaki's heart, but they end up dating hella quickly. I thought it would take at least a couple volumes 😅 They are an interesting match though, and I like how straightforward Sakura is with his feelings. It's also nice to see Hanasaki learn what it's like to be genuinely cared about, compared to what she went through with her ex. I can't wait to see how her relationship with Sakura progresses!

This was adorable! It’s about Sawa and we follow her just after she broke up with her horrible boyfriend. Suddenly, a boy from her class who isn’t normally her type, asks her out. She declines but he’s ready to prove his worth to her and he does.

The progression of their relationship was so cute! Sakura was so devoted to her and I loved that he never made her feel bad for being shy, if anything he encouraged it. And he showed her what a healthy relationship should and could be. I just really need the sequel today!

If you love soft romance manga set in a high school setting, check this one out!

5/5⭐️

A sweet romance about a forward guy and reserved girl!

After breaking up with her cheating ex, Hanasaki is approached by her male classmate Sakura who asks her to be his girlfriend. After she rejects him due to him 'not being her usual type', Sakura persists until he secures a date with the girl he likes. Unused to compliments and being treated with such passion and love, this cute manga tackles a relationship between someone who is overly affectionate (Sakura) and his more reserved girlfriend (Hanasaki).

Their dynamic is really interesting and even within the few chapters contained in this volume, their relationship grows really beautifully. Without spoiling the plot, I will simply say I am a big fan of the young couple!

The art style is really nice and clean, though very occassionally it took a second to work out who the 'speech bubble' or 'thought bubble' was coming from.

Overall I would say this is a very strong start to a romance manga, which I plan to continue as more volumes are produced.

Sakura's Dedication 1 by Fuyu Yukimiya was a sweet, fast-paced shoujo manga about a high school girl who has bad luck in romance and her persistent classmate determined to win her love.

This was a cute, quick read of a romance manga. I wish it had taken a little bit more time developing the heroine's feelings, but was still a solid read.

Thank you NetGalley and Kodansha Comics for letting me review this book.

.

Another cute and heartwarming romance manga that I genuinely did enjoy from the start until the end.

Among along the things that I did enjoy, my favorite part is that the mangaka really did blend and showcase the development of the characters as well what the relationship really is.

I can not wait to read more of this series.

i enjoyed the progression between the nerdy sakura and the standoffish sawa. while sawa seems to be closed off from relationships after a recent break up. it’s during this time that sakura professes his intention to be her next boyfriend. the pair begin to grow together, as sawa has never been treated in such a caring way by someone like sakura, leading to many misunderstandings— at least perceived ones by herself. i enjoyed the fact that she never stops trying and that sakura never puts her down for her shyness. rather, he encourages her to continue trying to grow more comfortable with her feelings towards him, as he’s very honest about his feelings towards her..

it’s a cute high school love story about two opposites who find balance in one another that i would love to read more of in the near future!

This manga follows the main character Sawa, who has just broken up with her boyfriend because she found out that he was seeing another girl, Then a classmate, Sakura, confesses feelings for her - but she’s never been interested in him and is just getting out of her previous relationship. Sakura really likes her, and is determined to keep confessing his feelings.

This was a pretty cute manga - Sakura really likes Sawa, and both of them are pretty awkward about their feelings. I liked the character designs, and the artwork was pretty and cute! With a storyline like this, I think it’s easy to fall into the male love interest being creepy or overbearing, but I didn’t think it was too bad in this one - he was very honest and expressive in his emotions and just really liked Sawa and complimenting her.

This was a very quick read, and I enjoyed how easy it was to read but I wish it had delved into things a little bit more for a first volume. I am interested to see where this story goes in the future!

This is such a cute shoujo manga! Sakura's Dedication is a slice of life shoujo manga about a girl who's shy in love, thanks to being burned by her ex, who decides to date her honest and nerdy classmate. I loved the MC Sawa. It was refreshing to have a herione who was shy in love and Sawa was very easy to relate too. I liked the main love interest Sakura, but I felt like he was too perfect in this volume. I hope we get to learn more about him as the volumes continue on. I want to see more of his personality and background. Volume 1 was very introductory with barely any drama. I hope the next volume goes deeper into their relationship and does not keep skimming the surface. I'm excited to see where this series goes!

I't's a perfect shoujo manga for those who are looking for something sweet. Recommend if you like Blue Spring Ride (Ao Haru Ride) or Horimiya.

I'm glad this story was a sweet one, because it would have been real easy to view said Sakura's dedication as a bit creepy. Instead he is a earnest guy doing his best for the girl he likes. It turns out she just got dumped and is trying to figure stuff out on her end, too. This turned into a nice surprise of a read.

Thank you Netgalley and Kodansha For The e-ARC,
This book was really cute and fluffy, specially I liked ML so much he was really great guy tbh,
After Bad Break up Sawa was definitely not ready to date one more loser but Sakura was very straight forward for his feelings, he confesses his feelings to Sawa But she rejected Him, still Sakura was not going to back up, what I liked about Sakuma is he was not forcing Sawa to going out with him, after some they both start dating, they were really cute couple, I didn't understand Sawa's Character but would love to read next Vol

Thank you to NetGalley and Kodansha for providing a digital ARC for review ^^

This series is super sweet and charming, and annoyingly innocent. Sawa was previously dating a complete jerk, and finds herself falling for her classmate Sakura even after rejecting his proposals. Sawa is finding it hard to let her guard down and show her feelings because of her past.

I called this one annoyingly innocent because I think it will take several volumes before we get to see a full relationship between Sawa and Sakura, but I'm still here for it! It makes me want to wait for more volumes in the series to watch their relationship develop.

Overall, a really cute manga! Would definitely read further volumes in this series.

I love this book, so raw and heartful that I can't hep but smiled throughout my reading session with it. I've finished this in one sitting and I'm totally so into it that I will wait for the volumes to be available. I can totally relate to the girl embarrassment since I do have this friend who is also very straightforward and kind of honest that he says what he think out loud and I can't help but felt the secondhand embarrassment sometimes. I do like the story line and I totally love the male protagonist here, he reminds of Kou Mabuchi in Ao Haru Ride that I can't help but compare their attitude sometimes. Kidding aside, it was fun and fast paced story, I would definitely recommend it to my friends and colleagues.

Hanasaki broke up with her boyfriend, Nakazaki, because he cheated on her. After hearing about it, Sakura goes up to her and asks her out. Although she rejected him, since he was not her type; Sakura continues to confess. One day a rumor spreads and Hanasaki gets anxious that Sakura heard about it and that's why he is avoiding her. Is Hanasaki falling for Sakura? Is Sakura really avoiding her because of the rumor? You'll have to read it to find out what happens.

I really enjoyed this one and love seeing how dedicated and honest Sakura is- especially when he says he studied. If you are looking for a new shojo manga to read, I recommend checking this one out.
The art is beautiful throughout it too.

Sakura's Dedication Vol 1 by Fuyu Yukimiya is the first shojo manga I have read about the love that comes after the first, young, insecure, inexperienced love.
Sawa, our female MC, has had several boyfriends but her relationships all end with a bad breakup – just take her latest boyfriend who cheated on her.
When her classmate Sakura confess his feelings to her, she replies that he's not her type. He's okay with that and doesn't give up on making her like him, because as he says ”one's type and the person you fall in love with are often different”, and it doesn't take more than one chapter for Sakura to win over Sawa. It's the story that follows that's fun to read because Sakura is different from the guys Sawa normally dates, so while she might be experienced in dating and think she knows how things will play out, she's thrown when their relationship is so different from her earlier relationships. The ex-boyfriends and bad breakups are playing a role in the story, and in many ways is this a different take on the story about an insecure girl falling in love with a handsome, patient and understanding guy, but also a story about a girl that has to learn about herself, before she can find lasting love.

I found this read eye-opening. As a reader, you have no doubt that Sakura and Sawa are in love, and it's refreshing to read about love between lovers. Their different personalities clash sometimes – like their different ideas of what a perfect date is – but the story shows that as long as you are open towards your partner it will be alright, just as there will be situations where you can learn new things about yourself.

In this manga, we follow Hanasaki who just got cheated on by her now ex-boyfriend. Right after that, Sakura comes up to her and asks her out. At first, she rejects him but as he tells her he likes her a few more times and as he is really nice to her, she asks him if he wants to do anything together after school.
This was cute, though not extraordinary. Hanasaki’s ex-boyfriend appears a few times and is just so annoying, I kind of want to punch him. Hanasaki is quite shy in front of Sakura so it’s cute. I’m just not yet totally convinced by Sakura though he seems nice. I think there will be some drama in the next volumes
I recommend to people looking for a fast romance with a bit of drama
3/5
