If you want lots of steam, this is absolutely packed with it. But my mood wasn't quite taking me there, so I struggled with it.

For me, it really took away from the story. The physical connection was solid from the beginning, but I was wondering what more there would be.

There's a bit of a twist thrown in about a third way through the book. I'm not sure if it helped or hindered the story especially with the special epilogue. I'm still pondering over it.

Overall, just wasn't a story for me, but I know it check all the boxes for others.

Normally, audio is the way to get, but I didn't really like the MMC narrator. Whenever it was Jenner's POV, I just kept being focused on the narration instead of the story.

2.75/5

The Billionaire is a vacation hookup turned long-distance no-strings romance between a college senior studying marketing and a lawyer roughly a decade her senior. It is told in dual, alternating first-person POV and is the second in the Dalton Brothers series of interconnected standalones, which can be read out of order.

Jenner & Jo set my ears on fire with their combustible attraction. This story was a bit spicier than I normally listen to (saving those naughtier books to read on my Kindle), but I absolutely loved the performances by Kelsey Navarro and Tim Paige. The chemistry between the main characters was palpable, and I particularly enjoyed the phone sex.

The story was very engaging, and I did not see the plot twist coming at all! I only wish there was a little more character development to go along with the exciting journey they went through in this book; I think that would have made it a 5-star read/listen for me.

I definitely enjoyed this story, and I am planning to go back and read the first in this series before the third is released (though not having read it previously did not impact my ability to understand or enjoy this one at all). I’m probably going to need a paperback copy as well, because there’s just something so effortlessly sexy about that cover...

The Billionaire, an Audiobook by Marni Mann is the story of Jenner and Joanna (Jo). Jenner is the attorney for her father….but, doesn’t know who she is…they have a great evening and become close. But, this is a forbidden relationship and there are so many obstacles blocking them from being together….things look hopeless. Excellent story!!

This Audiobook was narrated by Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro. This team does a fabulous job performing this story!!! Everything was seamless, smooth, and the characters were easily discernable.

I am volunteering to leave a review for an Advance Copy of this Audiobook.

The Billionaire is book two in The Dalton Brothers Series and you definitely want to meet these brothers because if you love smoking hot alphas these are the guys for you.
Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro are fairly new narrators to me but they did a fantastic job bring this book to life. They picked up emotion in their voices and they were right on point with the characters.
Jenner and the gang are in Vegas for March Madness and that’s where he meets a young stunning woman who is more than ten years his junior. It was only meant to be one night but that night turned into a week but all good things come to end and at the end of the week they went their separate ways.
Jo is in Vegas with her girlfriends durning the college break so why not have some fun with a handsome man who knows his way around a bedroom. But who would have thought one week was going to turn the playboy Jenner’s world upside down and what happens when they come face to face when Jo starts her first job out of college……
This was a captivating read and this author paints wonderful pictures with her words and the narrators brought these pictures to life, the chemistry is intense, the banter is witty but it was the way this couple took their week of fun to the next level that also took this book to the next level. The Billionaire ticked all my boxes and I’m excited for Ford.

This audiobook was incredibly schmexy. Super Schmexy. It even made me blush a few times. There was no doubt that the two main characters had a ton of chemistry and I was here for their story. I had to make certain that the app was shutdown so that it did not autolaunch when I turned my car on!

What kept this book from being a super win for me may seem silly, but It bothered me enough to pull me out of the story. First, the title of this book doesn't really make sense. The male MC is a lawyer. Apparently, he is part of a billionaire family, but I never really bought it. There were some parts of the book that made me question this status for him. The title "The Billionaire" doesn't seem to fit this book. Is he super rich? Yes. Does he act like it? Yes. Still, it doesn't really fit the story. Second, I was really frustrated by Jo's revelation about her father. I had one view of her and suddenly we learn that she is an entirely different person. Jenner had every right to be angry and to not forgive her. I enjoyed Jenner and Jo's relationship until the deception came to light. Finally, I had a hard time with Jo's transition from college student to executive in charge of a huge building project. She is 22 years old and in charge of a multi-million dollar build. I guess if you can suspend disbelief, it works, but it pulled me out of the story.

I give this book 3.5 stars and am looking forward to more books by Marni Mann.

Wow! What a steamy ride this was, Jenner Dalton did not disappoint.
From the very first chapter I was hooked. Although I never listen to this narrator before, it wasn’t bad,, but I felt that his voice felt a bit disconnected with the character, but non the less it was a good fun listen with a bit of angst on the side and a lot of steam between this two, amazing chemistry they had.
I loved Jo, the good girl. She was fun and sexy and definitely complemented Jenner.
Definitely need more Dalton brothers.

Kiss, kiss, kiss, sex, sex, sex…
If you can get past the constant kiss/sex scenes the underlying story was interesting. Obviously, I feel as though the story itself was overshadowed by the lust and I kept hoping it would get better (i.e. realistic). About 60% into the book the story started to pick up and I was engaged. It was short-lived. I did, however, enjoy the story and ending; wished it would have been more of the focus as it was good!

*sigh* I skimmed again. I tried not to, but I just couldn’t listen to yet another sexual encounter between these two. I wasn’t connecting with them as a couple, and it frustrated me.

I did however love their meet. It was perfect for who Jenner and Jo are and it suited their personality well. That’s what hooked me and kept me going. The problem is that their sexual journey overshadowed their relationship growth. There was some growth between them but it was minimal. Their story revolved around having sex and that’s pretty much it. So, would I call this a “romance novel”? No, not even a little.

I knew going in that the story would be sexually driven because of the age-gap circumstance. That’s just how it goes most of the time with that, but I had high hopes it wouldn’t overshadow the relationship. But there was no relationship, so there’s that LOL I dunno guys, this one didn’t do well with me.

I got the opportunity to experience this story via audio and not reading so I should say a bit about the performance of Kelsey Navarro & Tim Paige. These two work well together. They do very well with not just their own voice, but other voices as well. They’re always distinct and makes the listening experience better. However, the epilogue … Tim Page did not change his voice in the least and sounded just like Jenner except the epilogue is not in Jenner’s POV. Yeah, I got nothing …. #fuckery LOL

I still love these brothers and their camaraderie, and I like that they’re in each other’s lives enough to be in each other’s stories, so I’m looking forward to Ford’s story and how his single-dad status affects his storyline. Fingers crossed there’s more story with this one ;)

Thank you, Dreamscape Media, for the opportunity to listen to this story via NetGalley.

I enjoyed this one even more than the first in the series. Not only was this book HOT, but the plot kept me thoroughly engaged too. I did not see the main twist coming until right before the big reveal and loved the way it affected the couple. A very enjoyable listen.

This is the first book by this author that I’ve read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I just went back and started reading book one the lawyer which is just as good as this one and look forward to reading the third book in the series when it’s released. The chemistry of the two characters Jenner and Joanna is pure fire. I didn’t want this book to end. Thank you for my advanced reader copy of this.

Someone bring me a fan or give me ice because this story is on FIRE! HOLLY GUACAMOLE!!! Marni Mann went beyond and above. The Billionaire gave all the feels, it was sweet BUT HELLA HOT, lol. I enjoyed listening to this audiobok, Kelsey Navarro & Tim Paige did a GREAT job, but I've to be fully honest, while listening the hot scenes narrated by Tim, I laughed because his moans sounds (making the female voice). He's female voice is funny! So I enjoyed that part because they're funny.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape media for letting me review The Billionaire by Marni Mann -Narrated by Kelsey Navarro & Tim Paige

Holy fire! Marni Mann knocked this out of the park! It’s instantly captivating and has amazing steam. Their relationship is fun and and adventure.

Jo and Jenner randomly meet in Vegas and have a wild time there together but become inseparable. However they live on opposites coasts and Jenner has never been a relationship person. They can’t seem to keep away though and develop more than either intended.

The plot twist in this was incredible. I didn’t see it coming at all but when it did it connected all the dots and made perfect sense.

This series and these men, have a fan handy because they are HOT!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Billionaire is an age gap forbidden romance full of twists and surprises. Jenner and Jo meet at a hotel bar while on vacation and are immediately drawn to one another. Living on opposite coasts the encounter was never meant to be anything other than a fling but within a week they are planning flights and meet ups all while trying to believe the lies they tell themselves that they don't want anything more. With unpredictable truths exposed readers are left guessing will-they, won't-they until the very end.

Special thanks to Netgalley for the eARC in exchange for my honest review.

If you're looking for a fun bit of escapism, The Billionaire will do the trick. The angst is pretty low, and there's enough steam to fog up all the windows. It's an age-gap romance, which is one of my favorite tropes in the genre. Jenner and Jo have loads of sexual chemistry, and I liked the dynamic between the whole group (Jenner and his brothers and Jo and her friends). They all get along really well despite the obvious differences in their lifestyles and ages.
The drawback for me (and I can't believe I'm saying this) is the sheer amount of steam in this book. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against a detailed sexy scene or two or three... The problem is after so many, it becomes repetitive, and there was a lot of it between these two. I feel like a few less scenes with the others spaced out a little more would've worked out better and had more of an impact, at least for me. With so much sex, I got the attraction between Jenner and Jo, but I had a hard time getting the feelings.
Kelsey Navarro and Tim Paige gave voice to Jo and Jenner, and they did a terrific job. Kelsey Navarro voices Jo so well that I could just picture this girl about to graduate college, and Tim Paige makes Jenner sound just as sexy and arrogant as he's described.
What it comes down to is I liked this story. I didn't love it, and I feel like my struggle to see the love story here had a lot to do with that. Nevertheless, I did enjoy getting away from reality for a while as the narrators carried me away into bookland, Marni Mann writes with a fast-paced, upbeat style that works for the low angst level. Oh! And I have to say that I love what she did with the epilogue. It was just perfect.

I really liked the story for this one. BUT THE NARRATOR Y'ALL. He did NOT do it for me. I enjoyed the writing and the female narrator, but wowza. I will probably try to read the physical copy because I don't think my rating is reflective of the author's ability.

Marni Mann does it again with another amazing glimpse into the world of the panty melting, sinfully hot Dalton Brothers.
The Billionaire is book two in the Dalton Brothers series and is the forbidden, age gap, second chance romance of Jenner and Joanna.
Jenner is a high-profile lawyer, a billionaire, and a deliciously hot eligible bachelor in Los Angeles. He heads to Vegas for March Madness with his brothers and friends.
Joanna (Jo) is a sweet college girl living in Miami. She heads to Vegas during Spring Break with her girlfriends.
The chemistry and attraction between Jenner and Jo is instant and concupiscent when they meet in a sport bar in Vegas. Jo impresses Jenner with her knowledge of sports and betting, so his attraction extends to her mind as well as her body. That insta connection turns from one night to a whole weekend and then they find themselves jetting back and forth between LA and Miami to spend time together, all the while neither are willing to admit to wanting more.
The fabulously talented Kelsey Navarro and Tim Paige narrate this book. Kelsey did an incredible job bringing the intelligent, mature, sultry, sexy Jo to life. Tim’s performance as the smoking hot, panty melting eligible bachelor is simply spectacular, I love this duo together.
I loved everything about this book and the epilogue was a very impressive, unexpected surprise. I am over here waiting impatiently for Ford’s story now. Marni Mann is an incredible storyteller and the queen of lust, desire and red hot, filthy sex! Marni is one of my favourite authors so I will always one-click any new titles she releases as you can always guarantee amazing characters, a fabulous storyline and smoking hot sex.

This book starts off with a bang (quite literally) and that is how it goes when these two are around each other. If you are looking for something steamy and hot this is exactly for you. For me I didn’t connect with the main characters or understand where their insatiable need for each other came. I also didn’t understand how they felt some deep intimate emotional connection. Worse I really didn’t like the FMC or her friends as I couldn’t get over how young, immature, and superficial I found them to be. I liked the slightly forbidden aspect and the drama that unfolds later in the book but I needed more story and character development in the beginning. I have read and really enjoyed other books by Marni Mann this one was just okay for me. I thought the narration was good and pleasurable to listen to. As per my habit I did listen to it at 1.25 speed.

The Billionaire starts as your typical boy meets girl in a Vegas bar and they spend the night together. The one night turns into a fun, lust filled week until they go their separate ways, Jenner back to Los Angeles and Jo back to Miami. Jenner doesn’t do relationships and Jo is just graduating college and starting her life. Jenner can’t stop thinking about Jo and decides maybe it’s time to try a relationship until he finds out Jo’s been hiding a big secret.

Starting off, I thought this was just the typical steamy, sexy romance novel without much grit. But after the first few chapters, I started getting invested in and caring about the characters. When Jo’s big truth was revealed, I was shocked and felt all the emotions Jenner was experiencing. I ended up loving the story in this romance! As this was the second in a series, I’ve already bought the first book and pre-ordered the third.

I'm not sure if I will ever listen to an erotica novel as an audiobook ever again. It's just so strange. It's fine when it's a romance novel and there are a lot of other scenes but it's something completely different about it all being sexy scenes haha.
