4.5 Star review - Full, Spoiler review on Good Reads
From the get, this is HOT! It did take me until about chapter 11 to really get into it, unfortunately part of that was because I wasn’t a fan of the male narrator. I was worried the quick scene changes would affect the character details and make them two dimensional but with that was soon wiped away.
The sex was great, we all know what we read!
But my favorite moments were Jenner and Jo really talking and communicating, getting to know each other. I was worried Jo would fall into the “she’s more mature than her age” trope but I don’t feel it did (personally) - she was self aware of her age and it was never really used against her. She just *was* 22. She was also a really smart women. Her smarts are a big part of what attracts Jenner and even how he encouraged her to go for her dreams and spoke so highly of her! Swooooon
Jenner is a romantic!! Not even with being over the top. The way he showed his love and cared for her. The details of her purse!!! Where can I order this man???
The epilogue was such a sweet one but when it had that twist I gasped for the second time!
I’m happy to have found this! Maybe I’ll take a look at the other brothers stories

This was my first audiobook and I must say this was a good one. Right out the gate the words Jenner used were *chef's kiss* and Tim Paige has a beautiful reading voice. It is so smooth and I could listen to it all day. It got to the point that I would hope Jo's chapters were be shorter so we could get to the Jenner chapters. Kelsey Navarro's voice was okay, just an average female reading voice.
About 30% into the book I found myself almost tired of all the smut. There was no plot to start, just sex. And while that was a main reason I got this book a little plot is nice too. At about 50% we started to get into the plot and I found myself more invested in the story. The main twist also was a nice surprise.
I haven't read any other books by Marni Mann but now I will keep my eye out for the other Dalton Brother books!
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for this ARC!
*could not post to Goodreads under Audiobook because there is not an audiobook edition yet so I posted under the kindle edition

Oh my goodness this is a spicy one! From start to finish - do not listen to this one at work or with kids in the room - even with ear buds you WILL be blushing! There are multiple relationships that are beautifully developed between characters throughout this book. The narrator switches back and forth depending on who's point of view that chapter is coming from. I kinda liked how it was done and haven't listened to an audiobook before that followed that exact model. Listening to this book definitely convinced me to put the author on my radar! The release date is coming up this week and I would definitely recommend!!!
Thank you to the author and publisher for the advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review! Marni Mann, you have a new fan!

Wow Mani Mann has done it again. Another amazing book. There were 2 big surprises with this book that I didn't see coming. The characters were amazing as well. Jo and Jenner had this chemistry right from the start.

People who read this k ow exactly what they’re getting themselves into and will like it. The plot isn’t very strong, the characters aren’t very fleshed out or even all these interesting, but the romance scenes are hella spicy 🌶
And let’s be honest? Does anyone go reads this want more? Probably not. The audiobook narrators were amazing! Pace was quick.
For me this was a 1 star but for someone who wants this kind of plot it’s a 4 star!

Steamy!! Steamy!! Steamy!! So hot it will scorch you!! This was very entertaining and I loved Jo’s growth into gaining her own confidence and standing her ground waiting patiently for Jenner to wake the F up lol!

Let me start by saying that the spice in this book is some of the best I have ever read! Not only do we get it early on in the book but it remains a constant throughout the book. Mann does an excellent job in giving us what we want with a spice filled book while also providing us with enough plot to keep the story going. You find yourself rooting for the main characters throughout the entire book and it really keeps you plugged in.
Jenner and Jo meet in a hotel in Vegas an their connection is instant, though both characters in the beginning know it will not work out between them. Upon returning home from their vacations Jenner can not get Jo out of his mind and vise versa. This book follows these two characters as they try to navigate what their connection means and how it works out for their lives. When all the truth is revealed will these two characters still find a way to make what they have work? You just have to read to find out!
The narration of this book was top notch! I am picky about my male narrators in audiobooks but Tim Paige gave me the swoon worthy voice that matched what I had envisioned when thinking about Jenner. When thinking about Jo, Kelsey Navarro delivered the perfect female voice and was not whiny as I do sometimes experience with other female narrators. Together their voices complemented each other and made the transition from the multiple point of views seamless.
I am giving this book a solid 4/5 stars! The only thing I wish I had more of in this book would be further interactions of the characters outside of the bedroom. I loved he characters together but I would have loved a couple of extra scenes of them interacting outside of the bedroom. It is also hard because I did love the bedroom scenes as well! I was just missing more of the characters together.
I will definitely be reading more of Marni Mann’s books and may even go back to read the first book in the series even though The Billionaire read great as a stand alone! This book was filled with great spice, swoon worthy characters and a surprise that you don’t see coming that you keeps you engaged through the entire book! I would recommend this book time and time again to all of my spice loving friends!

I couldn't handle this narrator. He took a perfectly good book and butchered it. I'll make a note not to listen to his narrations.

Marni Mann has done it again but this time better. Jenner and Jo’s story was one of a kind. Yes, there’s an age gap. And yes again, there is a long distance relationship between the two mc’s—but they make it work. Dual perspective (the best type). The spice was fucking (excuse my French) out of this world and so was the epilogue—was definitely not expecting it.
There were times I cringed because of what Jo said to Jenner. But there were times where I was smiling like such an idiot (so thankful I read this book when I was home alone otherwise my family would’ve thought I was insane).
I loved this book and the emotions I felt when reading —or should I say listening to— it. The narration was on point; Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro did an amazing, spectacular, and show-stopping narrations of Jenner and Jo.
Cannot wait to read about the third Dalton brother, Ford next!
*** Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for providing me with a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

Another 🔥🔥🔥 one from Marni Mann and she does NOT do slow burn at all.
👑👑👑Queen of steam🥵🥵🥵
Jenner Dalton is a hot shot real estate lawyer with mad negotiating skills.
Joanna (Jo) is a college student close to finishing up her degree with confidence beyond her years.
All bets are off when these 2 take one smoldering look at each other in a bar in Las Vegas during March Madness.
There are a couple of problems ~ he's older and lives in LA, she's younger and lives in Miami. They both agree to keep it casual for the week, so why can't either of them stop thinking about each other and the possibility of more?
These 2 were so good together that I forgot about their age gap and I didn't think it was forbidden. Some of the steaminess was a little repetitive, but still good nonetheless.
There was a nice little twist in there about Jo I didn't see coming.
#bffgoals for Jo and Monica. They were everything BFF's should be.
Kelsey Navarro did a great job narrating.
Tim Paige can whisper sweet nothings to me all night long in his regular voice...not so much in his female voice.
The epilogue was a nice surprise!
I love the relationship these brothers have and I will be ready and waiting to take a cold shower when Ford's book comes out.
Side note that has nothing to do with anything, but I could have went for a more original title.
*Thanks to Netgalley, Dreamscape Media LLC and Marni Mann for the advance audiobook. I am voluntarily leaving my honest review*

The second half of the book was pretty interesting! I was invested. But the first half of the book was more difficult to me as I didn't really like Jo and Jenner's meet-cute.

I’m not a big fan of large age gaps in the main characters. I did listen to the audio and the narrator has a pleasant book.

My first read from Marni Mann and I was blown away, right from the start - 4.5-stars rounded to 5.
Fantastic writing, being thrown right into the story and steam with quite the meet-cute, and excellent narration by two long-time favourites, Kelsey Navarro and Tim Paige, who have done just such a bang-up (hah - literally) job!
This is the second book in the Dalton Brothers series, so I’m going to go searching for The Lawyer and purchase it right away, and I’ve already added books 3&4 to my TBR (coming later this year). I’m now hooked on this series, and I will also be checking out more of her books, especially if they’re as extremely steamy and super well-written as this one was! I listened to the entire book in one sitting because I was so enthralled I couldn’t put it down!
Kelsey Navarro and Tim Paige are always amazing, and they were the perfect voices and made such a great team for this book. I don’t think that I could come up with any others that could have been more suited to these characters - bravo you two, two thumbs up and 5-stars to you both as well! Brilliant performances!
Jenner Dalton is a real estate lawyer, and extremely rich. He doesn’t do relationships, but definitely has his share of women. He has joked with his brother’s, friends and clients that there isn’t a skirt in LA that he hasn’t been under… One March Madness in Vegas at a casino owned by his best client has him eating his words, when he meets a young college student from Miami who is a perfect mix of gorgeous, brilliant, interesting and into sports… and afterwards, he can’t get her out of his mind! What has he got himself into with this Jo? Little does he know what the future holds, in every aspect of his life now!
I recommend this book to everyone that loves a great romance with just a bit of angst (from a misunderstanding and communication issues, no cheating or other issues like that), age-gap of about 12 years, alpha male, and trying to make a distance thing work, and a TON of steam - don’t pick this one up if you don’t do steam because it’s there from the very beginning and the whole way through!
I received an ALC review copy from NetGalley and Dreamscape Media, and this is my honest feedback and review. Thank you so very much!

Thank you to NetGalley for the audio book.
This book was steamy from the very first page! Talk about fire! I was hooked and had a hard time putting it down! It is a fantastic steamy sexy love story. The twist is Jo falls in love with her dads lawyer= she knows almost immediately but does not tell Jenner. He finds out when she steps out of her dads car while on a job site. they have a hard time telling the dad- when they finally tell him its not so good at first. the dad needs a little time to think it through. He finally comes to and accepts the situation.
This is a great smut book. do not listen to it with little ears around!

The Billionaire by Marni Mann is the second book in the Dalton Brothers series and a standalone listen. This is an age gap story that has lots of sex. There is more chemistry and details in this book compared to the Lawyer. I loved the scene in the Bakery with the scrumptious sounding baked goods -- especially the Blueberry Cake. Kelsey Navarro and Tim Paige performed this book and were great! I really thought that they brought the characters to life with their voices. Thank you #NetGalley and #Dreamscape Media for allowing me to listen to this pre-release audiobook. I really did enjoy it!

This was a really steamy romance. Jenner and Jo have some crazy hot chemistry from the moment they meet. He’s older and she’s still in college. What started out as a week long vacation fling became so much more for both of them. And I enjoyed following their romance from one city to another but Jo have a secret that she’s been keeping from Jenner. However, for about 60% of the story, it was them finding the time and place to meet each other so when the secret was revealed I was just as surprised as Jenner. The story is told from Jenner and Jo’s POV but the epilogue was told from another person’s POV which was interesting since there was another secret revealed.
I listened to the audiobook that was narrated by Kelsey Navarro and Tom Paige in dual POV. They did a good job for each of their parts.
Thanks NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the advanced audiobook.

WOW. This book. I expected a steamy romance but I didn't quite expect the level with which this book comes for you. Overall, I gave this book a 4 star rating, which is probably more 3.5 stars rounded up. I'm so torn on this one. By the end of the story, I was so in love with Jenner and Joanna. I loved them together and I was rooting for them every step of the way. I love how they had to overcome some obstacles and some differences, and though it was a rocky ride, they ended up fighting for what they wanted. That being said. My love for this book only really happened in the second half of the book. I love a good slow-burn romance, but this book jumped in head first from the beginning. It was very steamy, and since I was listening to the audiobook version, it's possible I may have found myself blushing a little too much. This part was too much for me, but since I loved the couple by the end, my rating reflects that. I think I would have preferred to read the book instead of listen to it, simply for the content. But I did really enjoy the narration of this audiobook. Overall, I would highly recommend this book, just don't say I didn't warn you!

omg this book is fire!!! WOW love this one so much! This book blew me away! I was unable to but it down. Perfect, dazzlingly, very well written. The details the author described throughout the book was so amazing. The characters and storyline were fantastic. The ending I did not see coming Truly Amazing and appreciated the whole story. This is going to be a must read for many many readers. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! No spoilers. Beyond amazing I enjoyed this book so very much. The characters and storyline were fantastic. The ending I did not see coming Could not put down nor did I want to. Truly Amazing and appreciated the whole story. This is going to be a must read for many many readers. .

This is the 2nd book in the Dalton Family series by Marni Mann. Jenner is a lawyer who loves to travel, for work or for pleasure. Staying in one place just isn’t in his DNA and neither is being with one woman, or is it? Jo is in her senior year of college and not sure of what to do next with her life. She’s almost got the degree she wants and job offers, but which one to take and where to live are her unknowns. These two meet by chance in a bar in Vegas and spend a week together that will changes their lives forever.
I fell in love with Jenner from the start. Alpha male, who’s good in and out of the “boardroom”. He’s a player until he meets Jo (his one) and then it takes a while for his brain to catch up to what his heart knows – she’s the one. Jo is smart and sassy, but like a lot of people, not always certain of herself – very relatable. It was fun “watching” Jenner come to the realization that he can settle down with one woman, the right woman. The sparks and heat between the heroine and hero leaped off the page. The secondary characters added colour to the story as well as showing other sides to the hero and heroine’s personalities which was fun to see. I really enjoyed this story, the romance aspect had me hooked from the beginning.
I listened to this book and enjoyed the narrators. They created distinctive voices for each of the parts that they read and it was easy to tell which character they were speaking as, with no confusion, even when the story was sped up.

This was HOT. SO steamy. I loved the duel POV. When I was about 30% into the book I immediately added the rest of the series to my “want to read” list. I was hooked immediately. Great writing and great sex scenes. I loved the twist too! Very well done. The narrators were great too!
