Thanks to NetGalley for the read of Karen Ehman's and Ruth Schwenk's, Trusting God in All the Things.

Life is full of challenges and disappointments; it's hard. Trusting in God's plan takes a very focused effort. This lovely devotional is a wonderful reminder to pause, pray and immerse yourself in the love God has for each of us.

So Many Great Devotions!

So many of the days stood out! I so needed Day 16! Recall button for your mouth! And Day 17… When Words are Hard to Find! Each day has Points to Ponder and a Pause to Pray. Day 23 was another… Repairing Broken Relationships. Many thought provoking and searching your heart for nuggets to apply to your faith walk!

I think I will plan to go through this devotional at least once a year. I will probably journal through it. I’d love to see how God works and grows me by reading through the journaled Points to Ponder.

I received a complimentary ARC of this book from NetGalley on behalf of the Publisher and was under no obligation to post a favorable review.

This book came in perfect time in my life. It is welcome in anyone’s busy life who longs for connecting to God: from handling trials, worry, sin, temptation to repentence, thankfulness, prayer. Both authors take turns in tackling subjects that we each face as christians.
It has short chapters structured in verses, devotion, questions and prayer.
Loved this book!

Bethany House, Bethany House Publishers

I am reviewing a copy of Trusting God in All the Things through Bethany House Publishers and Netgalley:

Life can be a lot. Relationships are often hard, we have responsibilities piled on us. And it seems like all the things are distracting you from the very best things of all. There's little time left for yourself--or for connecting with Jesus.

It’s no wonder we are often left feeling anxious in our minds as well as hurried in our hearts. We desperately long for a calm amidst our clamoring duties, stacked schedule, and life's unexpected circumstances. But where do you begin?

More than anything else our hearts need a refreshing encounter with God everyday. Trusting God in All the Things offers women like you a way forward so you can experience the confident calm you crave.

These 90 encouraging devotions will help you face life with God's peace and renewed strength.

I give Trusting God in All the Things five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!

How hard is it to completely surrender to God things like financial worries, relationships, or even work struggles? In this book Karen and Ruth do an amazing job at addressing realistic, biblically centered ways that we can be reminded just how important it is to give ALL of these things to our Heavenly Father. The authors have done an amazing job at tackling 90 different ways that we can all become more centered and at peace with your faith journey as you turn your worries over to God. We were never made to carry all the burdens of this world, and certainly not made to carry them alone, "Trusting God in All the Things" reminds us of just that.

Karen Ehman and Ruth Schwenk have written a beautiful, insightful yet practical devotional book.
I love their vulnerability to share from their own lives. It helps me not feel so alone in some of the situations I face.
The Points to Ponder sections are very thought provoking which allow for great journal entries.
I especially love the Pausing to Pray….(prayer prompts) as sometimes I don’t know where to start in my prayers.
Thank you Karen and Ruth for this wonderful devotional book.

I love the way the authors strive to show everyone’s life is full of challenges. The real beauty of life is in the navigation of our steps along the narrow, treacherous paths these challenges create for us. What peace my heart felt in knowing I wasn’t alone in having challenges in life or in facing the challenges. Trust makes the path achievable.

Each day scripture is given to anchor us in the truth of God’s presence, continually building our trust. At the close of each devotion, we are asked to reflect on our hearts and pray about the impressions left on the heart. This devotion is actually a life-centering journey travelled through each lesson of Trusting God In All the Things,
