Full of beautiful, and sometimes creepy, artwork depicting a fascinating collection of creatures. This was simply just interesting to read about as this had the perfect amount of bite-sized information which was complemented by a wonderful piece of art.

I absolutely loved this book. The art in it was absolutely phenomenal, I cannot get over it! I also loved the details about each creature/being.

After multiple attempts to access though the various platform options I am unsuccessful at being able to view.

Sadly I just couldn't get the link to work. So I couldn't check this book out but I look forward to grabbing a copy when it comes out.

Wow, gorgeous! The illustrations are so beautiful and ethereal, just what you'd want in a book about fairies.
The "character cards" style was quite fun (although now I want to read stories about them) and occasionally humorous.
Will look out for it in May.

I enjoyed this book as it gave description of the different fairies and creatures that appear in The Fairy Universe. Each fairy and creature have about them and a suggested way of interacting with them, when they are most active, etc. The drawing in this book are beautiful and detail which captured my interest from the very first picture on the cover. The use of both black and white pictures as well as colored drawings really brings the readers attention to the details of each drawing. The drawings that are entirelly in black and white use shading to bring the image to life. The font that the creatures names are in also fit the book as they are stand out but are not too over stimulating that it distracts the readers. Anyone who is interested in mythical creatures would enjoy reading this book.

The Fairy Universe is an absolutely gorgeously illustrated book. It is wonderful inspiration for anyone who likes to draw magical creatures like this! This is also just wonderful to look at for anyone who loves magic, is curious about the fairy world, or just wants a beautiful way to pass a little time.

The text is whimsical and funny, informative and wonderfully well done. It doesn't feel like a dry encyclopedia entry, but more like a work of love by someone who is absolutely in love with this world.

I highly recommend this book!

The Fairy Universe is a beautiful collection of illustrations from the fairy realm. Included with each image is the name and description of the creature portrayed. The book is broken into 2 parts but there's no particular organization to it. Prior knowledge of fairy lore is not necessary to enjoy this volume.

This book is perfect for adult fans of fae legends and folklore.

A book filled with absolutely gorgeous illustrations and interesting write ups about the fairy folk.

The enchanting illustrations are accompanied by information about the particular fairy/magical creature.

Anyone interested in fairies and fantasy stories should check this out.

Some fairies are dazzling and beautiful, others a bit horrid and ugly, some a little gothic and menacing. Some shrewd tricksters as well in the mix.

WoW This book The Fairy Universe by Olivier Ledroit, Laurent Souilléis was so beautiful and magical throughout, it took my breath away. This book is one for any one who loves Fairies, elves etc. and its beautifully illustrated Elves and Fairies with beautiful magical poetry by the side of each illustrates.

This is book one and I am looking forward to book two

This is a book for any fairy and Elf lovers and would be sitting on your table etc for others to read.
