Alexander McEwen targets issues we as a whole face at some time as we venture through life as we know it! Short book but motivating. I've referred to several friends.

Thank you Neutrally and the publisher for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I enjoyed it. I took what applied and left what didn't.

This book was a nice read and reminded me that forgiveness is key. Forgiveness is not always easy at first but in the end, will help you to feel better. This book was great and has many stories about others who have gone through heartbreak as well as many other obstacles.

So, this is in no way a guide or anything of the sort. It is a bunch of quite relatable stories from other women. I wanted more structured content with more solid advice and guidance. A good shirt read for women going through tough things.

Let me start by saying, its weird to have to read a man telling me to love myself more...but that being said it was great. I wish I could give this to younger me to read and I wish it was longer as it was kind of short.

This was the perfect read for this season of my life. I felt surrounded and held by the women who contributed by sharing their stories. Thank you for this ARC, it was a balm for my soul.

I wish that I can go back in time and give my younger self this book as a starting guide for self-love. So many lessons I had to painfully and blindly stumble through without kind and reassuring words that everything will turn out fine. For those who don't know where to begin on the self-love journey, please start with this book. Thanks, Netgalley for this gem.

I was surprised by how short this book was but it had some sensible advice on it. Slightly uncomfortable with reading a man's view on how women should love themselves more, but maybe that's just me and my life experiences.

This book was okay. It was quite short and while the advice in it was good and directed right to the reader, something was missing. Maybe it was that I wished there was more depth to the advice, I also was a little bummed to realize that this book about self-love for women was written by a man. And, yes the advice was still good, this didn't take away from the advice at all, but I do still wish that this particular story had been written by a woman. I particularly enjoyed the chapter on Taking Responsibility! Overall, this was a quick read with some good advice in it. You might even view it more as an encouragement to check in on yourself more!

The cover is lovely and fits more modern feminist minimalist art, matching the themes of the book.
As a self-help book a lot of the content is about other people's experiences, which can help give examples of change and prosperity but unfortunately doesn't allow the reader to have much of a connection to the book.
I'd also personally not include any religious texts or references as it can alienate some of your readers.
The advice given directly to the reader is sincere and helpful, would have been nice to have more of it or to go more in-depth with the advice rather than the stories connected to it.
The book has a nice flow when reading, could of easily read it in one sitting.
