Part of a series featuring Detective Tracy Crosswhite. She and her family are great characters, she is dogged and determined. A good story with plenty of excitement and twists.

This book is part of a series with a very likeable , persistant, caring detective. She is currently working in cold cases and is asked to look into the disappearance of a reporter 24 yrs before. The reporter was working on a number of cases which all could have been involved in her disappearance and assumed death. It got a bit confusing in the beginning with all the different cases and characters. Overall a good series, a good read and yes you can read it as a stand a lone

Another wonderful installment in the Tracy Crosswhite series. This is typically not a genre that I'm particularly drawn to, but there's something about Tracy that keeps me coming back. I've enjoyed each book and this one was no different. I love how she's driven and compassionate. She never gives up on her victims.

I absolutely love this series. The Tracy Crosswhite is my favorite series by Robert Dugoni. I was so glad when I was able to preview this. If you loved the other Tracy Crosswhite books, you'll love this one too! Highly recommend!

I really like the progression this series has taken. Each novel has a different enough case that they don't all read the same as many series in this genre do. The idea of amnesia like this is intriguing and I definitely did not see that twist coming. Tracy is a well developed lead and I can't wait to.see where the series goes next with a new enemy made in the department.

Thank you to Net Galley for a digital copy and a chance to read this early. All opinions are my own.

Robert Dugoni did it again! This is the ninth full length novel in the Tracy Crosswhite series and, as per his norm, it’s excellent. I thought I could read a few chapters last night. Nope. I couldn’t put it down and only stopped at 1am when my eyes were too heavy to finish. I picked it right back up today to finish. Dugoni has made such good characters - I can picture Tracy and Dan, Faz and his family, etc. I want to eat at Faz’s son’s restaurant. This book picks up where the eighth left off and sees Tracy continuing with cold cases. The case is so completely different than the last, but just as easy to get invested. From the ending, I feel like we’ll get another in the series and it will definitely be on my TBR.

What She Found by Robert Dugoni is another good addition to the Tracy Crosswhite story and series. The drug information was a bit confusing, but the story and mystery were good overall. The ending was satisfying and wrapped up nicely. I enjoy this author's writing style, and he doesn't include any unnecessary fluff or extraneous information. His stories are intriguing and crisp and keep me interested until the end.

I would highly recommend this series and this author. I am never disappointed in reading a Robert Dugoni story.

Tracy Crosswhite is working cold cases when the daughter of a woman who disappeared 24 years ago comes to her asking her to look into her mothers case. The more she looks the more questions she has. I couldn’t put this book down! This a fast paced book with so many twists and surprises, all I can say is wow! Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

Thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the ARC of this book. Dugoni is the author of 20 novels in The Tracy Crosswhite police detective series set in Seattle, the David Sloane legal thriller series, and the Charles Jenkins espionage series. He is also the author of several standalone literary novels including The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell and The World Played Chess as well as The Seventh Canon and The Cyanide Canary, a Washington Post best book of the year. I was introduced to this author through the Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell.
If you haven't read this author it is a must!! All of his work is exceptional.
It’s not the strongest of the series, but still delivers an enjoyable police procedural that should keep established fans happy.
4 stars

Tracy Crosswhite is like family at this point. I’m invested in her life. This author does such a great job weaving the characters that you can’t get enough. This story was nothing short of amazing. An amazing plot, twists and turns and terror with a side of emotion all wrapped into one. A rollercoaster ride with your best friends. With Tracy by your side you feel like you know you will be ok.
One heck of a story that I could not put down! Dark, gritty and heart pounding. This is a must read

Robert Dugoni does it again! I’ve been a fan of Dugoni’s for a long time and have always found his novels hard to put down. What She Found was no exception.

I’ve been reading books in Robert Dugoni’s Tracy Crosswhite series since 2014, when I first stumbled across My Sister’s Grave. I found it fascinating over the years to watch as Detective Crosswhite evolved as she worked to solve the long-cold case of her sister Sarah’s murder, then went on to other cases, along the way falling in love, getting married, having a child – and it always amazed me how Dugoni was so GOOD at writing a female protagonist without turning her into an object of any of the standards such as lust, derision, or pity.

In What She Found, #9 in the Tracy Crosswhite series, the mystery revolves around Tracy’s attempt to solve the disappearance of investigative reporter Lisa Childress. Lisa’s daughter Anita is obsessed with the case (which Tracy can surely relate to) and Lisa’s father is one of the prime suspects. He has become a pariah and now, after twenty-five years, Anita desperately wants the truth, whatever it turns out to be.

Tracy begins by reopening the potentially explosive investigations Lisa was following when she disappeared, including an exposé of public corruption, a drug task force scandal involving the Seattle PD; and a serial killer whose disappearance was as mysterious as Lisa’s.

It’s a complicated mess, and Tracy as usual does a masterful job sorting it all out. It’s impossible to say more without spoiling anything, so I’ll just say Dugoni has done it again–five stars, and thanks to Thomas & Merce and NeGalley for providing a copy in exchange for this honest review.

This was my first Tracey Crosswhite book. I liked her character a lot and the dynamics with her family. I then started the series from the beginning and I am closing in on book nine.

Memory........

Fresh, forced, forgotten.

Detective Tracy Crosswhite of the Seattle Police has been relegated to the Cold Case files. She welcomes a reprieve from the likes of the irritating Captain Johnny Nolasco. Tracy now reports to Marcella Weber, Chief of Police. Weber presses Tracy to only look into cases with new DNA evidence.

Good intentions and Hell. You know the drill. Tracy has been contacted by Anita Childress whose mother disappeared 25 years ago when Anita was only two years old. Lisa Childress was a talented journalist who left the house around midnight one evening to meet an informant. She never returned. Her car was found at a Greyhound bus terminal. No sign of Lisa ever. Anita's father was hounded as suspect number one all these years. Anita wants her father cleared.

So Tracy starts to dive into old files and little by little becomes intrigued with what she finds. Lisa may have been working on something that placed her in the center of a danger zone. And other information comes to light that may involve some of Tracy's previous partners. Tracy may be heading into a dark tunnel herself.

If you catch the name of Robert Dugoni on a book cover, stick around. You're into something good. Dugoni presents his Prologue: neat, tidy, and packed with quick background stories and fill-ins. Don't shy away from this #9. It reads as a perfect standalone. Dugoni spreads his net wide in this one catching some bad drug running escapades and a questionable task force that looks a bit hazy.

Dugoni's main female character, Tracy Crosswhite, is a force to be reckoned with. Tracy still lives in the shadow of the loss of her own missing sister and can readily relate to others in the Cold Case challenges. She and her husband, Dan, also have a toddler daughter. But close partners at the department are her extended family now. Could they have been wrapped up in something in the past? Stay tuned......this is a treasure of a read.

I received a copy of this book through NetGalley for an honest review. My thanks to Thomas & Mercer and to the talented Robert Dugoni for the opportunity.

This is book 9 in the series, but I was easily able to pick it up.

It finds Tracey in the cold case department investigating a case for her daughter.

This book was easy to immerse yourself in and quick to read

Another great entry in the Tracy Crosswhite series. I was happy to get to read an #ARC so I don't have to wait until August. Tracy is still handling cold cases and the main one this book is centered around a reporter who disappeared decades earlier. Her daughter, now a reporter herself, asks Tracy to look into it and the case pulls Tracy into some interesting directions. The author does his usual excellent job of research and weaving the intricate details together. I also enjoy the trip back to Seattle and some favorite places.

Book 9 in the series and just like the others- I flew through it in one sitting. I'm always so excited to get my hands on the next in this beloved series. Book 9 finds Tracey in the cold case department and I loved this new adventure! The case was perplexing and intricately pieced together. I loved reuniting with Tracey and my favorite characters. Returning to this series was a real treat!

I’m a huge fan of Robert Dugoni’s writing, and this latest installment in his Tracey Crosswhite series is a perfect example. The writing is clean and propulsive. The plot is twisty and surprising. This one will keep you up at night, turning pages. Highly recommended. #WhatSheFound #NetGalley #SaltMarshAuthors
