I love books like this who have a sort of ensemble cast and you hear the story from all different angles, coloured by their secrets and biases.

Enjoyable read!

The Bachelorette Party was a good read that captured me from the first page.
Set in New Orleans, a person is found dead but the reader is left to wonder who they were and why?
It was told from different characters' points of view and I found out more about each character as the story continued. I was shocked at the end; I was not expecting that!

Overall, it was a good read that kept me reading, but it does seem to be a theme right now that a lot of books have a party and someone is murdered, if you like books that are similar in theme you will like this.

It was supposed to be a fun vacation to celebrate the upcoming nuptuals of the bride-to-be. With her is the best friend, the groom’s friend, the cousin, the mother-in-law and the sister. Excited to cut loose, their plans come to a hault when one of them ends up dead. They all have their secrets, but is one of them willing to kill to keep their secret buried?

This novel went back and forth for me. At times I liked it, but at other times I found myself bored. There were a lot of things and events that were overly predictable, but there were still some surprises along the way. I liked the way the mystery was told. Lynch uses multiple narrators–in fact all six women have a voice along the way–to tell the events leading up to the death as well as the aftermath. I also found the fact that each woman had a secret (some more than one), making them not only viable suspects but also honest characters.

I was lucky to receive an advance copy of The Bachelorette Party by Carissa Ann Lynch from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review and opinion. Any book talking about a Bachelorette Party sounds like a great read and boy was I right! I found this book to be SO entertaining! Everything you could want and more - a bunch of catty women and lots of twists and turns. You won't be able to put it down once you start reading. I fully expect to see this made into a Lifetime movie.

The Bachelorette Party was a quick read that I enjoyed.
Six women meet up on a Friday night in a fabulous creepy mansion in New Orleans. The bride is there with her cousin, her best friend, her mother in law, her sister in law and her fiancé’s best friend from childhood. There is a lot of jealousy, grudges and general dislike for one another and although this is masked at the start of the weekend by the end they have slipped and after a drunken game of truth or dare things definitely take a turn for the worse leaving one of them dead and the others as suspects.
I enjoyed this quick read, I didn’t feel like I really connected with the characters but for some reason it didn’t really matter. It was a fast paced read with what I can only describe as an abrupt ending but for one reason or another again it worked for me and left me with no unanswered questions.
I would like to thank Netgalley and HarperCollins UK One More Chapter for this ARC I received in exchange for an honest review.

A easy to read whodunnit which I would recommend for anyone interested in the genre.

I cant say I overly connected with any characters but the fast paced story mixed with the changing perspectives every chapter had me racing to the end of the book eagerly.

The ending felt very abrupt, I thought for sure I had way more left to go, but everything was tied up really nicely. The twists arent the biggest twists ever but they are a really good plot. Smart.

As always, another twisty story from this author where I couldn't guess what happened at all! I love how this author writes and how she lays out a story. She always manages to get me.

I had to DNF this book. I just could never get into the storyline. I also couldn't connect to the characters which made it difficult to continue reading. It just wasn't for me.

Unfortunately, I have been locked out of my netgalley account for a few months and was not able to see which books I had on my list or even know to check if they downloaded properly, in order to properly read and review. I do apologize and am doing a 3 for neutral. Will update once I’m able to obtain a copy and read!

A great read. I couldn't put it down
Future wedding, friends, nights on the town in New Orleans. What could go wrong? A few too many drinks and a few too many truth or dares and one fateful event takes a turn as one of the six is now deceased....
Good read. I enjoyed it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ -- Great cover on this one!

This book was legit SO entertaining! A catty, twisty, locked room whodunit that will grab you from page one and never let up. Netflix needs to be making this into a movie as soon as possible. 😂

Super quick read. I love multiple points of view and the New Orleans setting, specifically the creepy mansion, was a fun one. Most of the characters are unlikable, but it was fun finding out their secrets and discovering who the victim was. This is my first book from this author and I will take a look at her others.

Thank you to Net Galley for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Omg! This is a great book. I literally could not put it down! A proper page Turner. Very well written both plot and the characters.

Unfortunately this was a DNF for me. The story never drew me in and I didn't connect with or care about any of the characters.

I will say that I think there's definitely people that will love this book, especially those who enjoy Lifetime type movies, but that's just not me.

The author did do a good job in that the story was well-written, but there were a lot of characters and that also made it difficult for me to care for any of them.

Give this a try if you're looking at it and you may very well love it.

Thank you to Netgalley, the author, and publisher for an ARC at my request.

I have always been a fan of locked room thrillers, and this one was exactly up my alley! The background story of a wedding added to the appeal! Absolutely recommended!

This was a quick and easy read, a fun whodunit. I enjoyed that it started with a murder, you just don't know whose. So not only is it a case of trying to guess the perpetrator but also the victim - and each could have been any one of the six bachelorettes. I also liked the alternating chapters following each character: Rosalee the people-pleasing bride, the disapproving mother-in-law, the wayward sister-in-law, the bossy best friend, too-good-to-be-true Georgia the groom's best friend and the weird cousin - again each with their own secrets, dramas and motivations. The reveal and motive were a bit underwhelming however.
