Wow! What a page turner! I read this within 24 hours, literally couldn't put it down!
The book starts off with the crime scene and had me HOOKED. Who was murdered? Who is the murderer? The author couldn't have set out a better story! I loved it.
A tale of 6 women, all connected to the bride to be in some way, I don't want to give anything away. Read this book, it is a fast read and you will not want to put it down.

Perhaps "bachelorette" is an American term - hen party seems less clumsy. Although the basic story is good I found several parts of the writing annoying. In sections of the book every paragraph begins with "The detective" instead of her name or referring to her as "she".
Most of the characters aren't very pleasant, but the plot moves along at a fair pace.

A spooky mansion with a dark past in New Orleans is where Rosalee is having her bachelorette weekend. Joining her is her future mother-in-law, future sister-in-law, her best friend, her cousin and her fiancé’s best friend. Six women start the weekend but only five are alive by Sunday. Everyone in the mansion has a motive but only one is a killer.

This was such a quick, entertaining read especially if you like locked room mysteries. The author quickly but effectively introduces all the characters and their backgrounds. I loved that each character had their own chapters and was named with their title so I could keep them all straight.

Six women, a weekend away for a hen party. What could possibly go wrong?
They play a game of Truth or Dare - the outcome - death.
Interesting.

I knew when I requested this book that it seemed like there were too many characters to each pull off a distinctive voice in each narrated chapter. And I was kinda right.

I had so much hope for this book! The storyline was intriguing, the setting was exciting and the characters seemed to be complex and disturbing at the same time. I feel that Ms. Lynch could have showcased New Orleans a bit more and used its uniqueness as a side character for the drama that was about to unfold. There was something secretive about all of the women and I wasn’t quite sure why the party was planned in the first place. No one wanted to go and they really didn’t like each other at all. It appeared to me to be a recipe for disaster for all of them because no matter the outcome, their lives would be changed forever.

The only character I really liked was Rosalee, the blushing bride-to-be. She was totally in love with her fiance Asher and he was hopelessly devoted to making her happy. His family treated her poorly which made her feel that she wasn’t good enough for him. The mysterious mansion chosen for the bachelorette party had its own secrets and a past that would scare most people away. Perhaps that is why all the women went a bit crazy in the short time they were there. Who will be left standing after the dust cleared and they all sobered up enough to admit the truth?

It was a fast, entertaining read with a smart twist at the end. Earning my 4 intelligent, whodunnit, devouring in one sitting stars!

Wow. The twisted plot weaved throughout this book is so masterfully crafted, I was legitimately left with jaw dropped in shock. I love it when a book keeps me guessing to the very last page!

The author has a beautiful knack of misdirection. Just when you think everything is laid on the table...everything is swept off the table and you're presented with the actual "whodunnit" moment. Oh my goodness, I was not expecting that!

What's so unique about this book...not only are you trying to figure out who killed the victim. For the majority of the book, you aren't even sure who was killed! Every girl could have been a victim, and every girl could have been the killer.

One of the most stunning pieces of modern literature I have read. It's books like these that take up residence in my memory and refuse to leave. This one on particular makes me very glad I didn't have a Bachelorette party of my own!

Quick read. Each chapter is from the perspective of a different member of the party. No one that you really like, each with their own secrets they are trying to hide. I did think the big reveal was a bit rushed and seemed to come from nowhere, and I am not sure the last chapter twist was that shocking but overall, I would suggest this as a easy beach read.

The Bachelorette Party is a thriller novel. It opens with a scene letting the readers know that someone has been murdered, then goes back to the beginning of the bachelorette weekend to walk us through all of the different personalities and conflicts. I liked a lot of parts of the book. I thought it was clever that we do not find out at the start of the book who was murdered, so that is a surprise for us as well as the identity of the murderer. The characters were interesting, if not exactly sympathetic. And the setting of New Orleans was fun and exciting. However, I did find myself not liking many of the characters. I couldn’t relate to them which made it difficult to care what happened to them. The ending felt rushed and disjointed. It seemed that out of nowhere, we had a confession and an epilogue! Right when I was trying to figure out the lies from all of the different interviews, they have someone confess to causing the death.

A bachelorette party gone wrong… the book starts out with a body. I think the best part was not knowing who was dead and who did it till the end. Rosalee is getting married, her soon to be mother and sister in law, her best friend, her cousin and her fiancée's best friend Georgia head to New Orleans for the weekend. I read this in one sitting and I’ll definitely be checking out more from Carissa Ann Lynch

I loved the mistery, both trying to guess who died and who killed her. My money was on one of them but I was mistaken, and I really liked being surprised. Although I coudn't stand some of them, I enjoyed it and ended the book on one sitting.

This was just ok for me. I didn’t love it but I didn’t dislike it. It took me a bit to get into and it did have it moments that would suck me in and keep me reading.

This was a quick and easy read for me, I liked it but didn’t love it.

Six friends attend a bachelorette party in New Orleans however only five survive the weekend, we don’t know who the murder victim is until near the end and are kept guessing throughout.

I enjoyed the way the book was written, from the perspective of each person as their personal stories start to unfold and the tension mounts.

This is the first book I have read by this author & I will definitely seek out another.

Thanks to NetGalley and One More Chapter for a digital ARC of this book.

This book starts with a murder and a detective, trying to figure out who did it among this group of women there for a bachelorette party. A group of mostly unlikeable characters, with secrets in their past. We don't find out who dies until more towards the end of the book. The detective was the only character I was interested in and she didn't appear in most of the most. This theme has been done over and over again and this didn't have anything particularly interesting to add to it

A gripping story. It has been a while since I felt the utter need to keep reading to find out what happened next, but every word compelled me to keep going. Even when I was mad as hell at a character or disagreed with what was happening, I still couldn't stop reading.
