This is a lighthearted romance, perfect for taking on holiday. I had a real soft spot for the guinea pigs, especially Snickers!
The characters are well rounded and I liked that we also got to see their flaws and how they grew as the book progressed. It's well paced and, while there are no real surprises, I was keen to read on and see how the story unfolded. Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for my copy of this book.

Love You From A-Z is a wonderfully charming read with the most loveliest cast of characters, It’s heart-warming and uplifting with a gentle romance at it’s heart. This is the author’s debut novel and have to say what a fantastic debut it is. Very much looking forward to future books.

Well isn't this book just so sweet! The only way to describe this book it to say it's like a warm hug, comforting and homely. This was an easy read, filled with usual romantic tropes as well as some cute furry friends. I enjoyed seeing Jenna's life change as she addressed the issues of her current relationship. Overall a real crowd pleaser.

This was a well paced, interesting story with likable characters. I love the idea of finding love letters. People just don't hand write things like they used too. I think I've received one in my life and I was lucky to get that, can we please bring back hand writing letters?

While there is nothing that makes this book really stand out, i did find myself enjoying it, so if you get the opportunity, i suggest giving it a read.

I received an arc of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

For the love of letters…

Experience has told Jenna Oakhurst that Happy Ever After may happen in all the best stories, but Happy For Now is the best one ought to expect in real life. Yet lately even that isn’t quite enough, so when a strange set of circumstances leads her to discover a mysterious letter in an abandoned storage unit, she takes the chance to embark on a journey into the unknown…just like the heroines from the storybooks.

Reaching out to the letter’s author, Henry Somners, changes Jenna’s world irrevocably and she starts to realize that the magic she believed in as a child might not be such a fanciful notion after all…

I enjoyed reading this, a really cosy romance.
The characters were good, loved the guinea pigs, and the storyline was good.
Will be looking out for more by Linda Corbett.

First off, let's take a moment to really look at that cover!
I love the design, from the color scheme to the items so carefully chosen, because while striking, it also tells a story all its own...something you'll understand more once you read it. Each image has a significance to uncover, and will lead you continually onwards toward that hoped for HEA.

Secondly, the story!
I so felt for Jenna. The lackluster relationship she had been muddling through was adequate, until she knew better. Until she took a moment to dream with her eyes wide open, allowing herself the chance at that WHAT IF we're all trying to grasp at. Did it pan out for her...umm, can I get a raincheck on that answer? No, really...it's not just a YES or NO kind of question, and I wouldn't want to spoil it for you! Seriously though, once she starts following those questions she's posed for herself upon discovering the mysterious box of memories, once she makes the connection to someone from its' past that becomes entwined with her future, once she takes a step towards something (and someone!) she's only dreamed of before, things start to HAPPEN...and she'll grow through those changes, come what may.

A delightful story filled with hope and heartache, as well as the reminder that love isn't just something shared by a couple, but something that can be felt in the company we keep, the friends we make, and the family we choose. The idea behind the title was special (and is revealed in the book!), but everyone's story looks different, and that's the true beauty of love. It really is in the eye and heart of the beholder. A great addition to your summer reading escapes, so grab a copy for your beach/day bag today!

I initially thought this was a typical, lightweight girl meets boy chick lit, but there’s a bit more to it than that. Jenna’s disability is added to the story with a light touch, it’s there, but not a major part, so - nicely done!

Girl meets boy, girl loses boy, girl gets back with boy. It’s a tried and tested formula!

Thank you to NetGalley for providing this book for review.

Linda Corbett’s Love You From A-Z is a terrific debut romantic tale that is an absolute joy to curl up with.

Jenna Oakhurst has resigned herself to the fact that relationships are simply not for her. Happy ever afters and sunset endings are all very well for books and films, but in real life, you’re lucky if you manage to find somebody to be happy with even for a weekend. Romance is off the table for Jenna and the time has come for her to admit that Prince Charming can only be found between the pages of a fairy tale and not in real life. But is Jenna being a tad too hasty writing off love?

When fate leads her to discover a mysterious letter in a storage unit, Jenna is immediately intrigued. The letter has awoken feelings deep within her she hasn’t had in a very long time, so she decides to embark on an adventure where she will locate the letter writer’s owner, Henry Somners. Jenna has absolutely nothing to lose – after all, the heroines in all her favourite books have thrown caution to the wind and taken a chance on their happiness, so why shouldn’t she?

Reaching out to Henry completely and utterly changes her life. Could Jenna finally find the happiness she had long given up on? Will she finally find a love that could last a lifetime? Or is she destined for even more heartache and disappointment?

Full of warmth and charm, Love You From A -Z is a first- rate debut that cannot fail to touch the heart and make you laugh out loud. A feel-good and uplifting tale about never giving up, taking chances and reaching for the stars, Love You From A-Z is a superb first novel full of characters you cannot help to take to your heart.

Linda Corbett is a wonderful new writer of commercial women’s fiction and I cannot wait to read what she writes next!

Jenna likes a nice orderly life. She works hard, never lets her disability get in the way & tries to be supportive of her friends & family. When her boyfriend decides he is giving up his job to launch a career in buying up storage units & auctioning off the contents she is not very happy & spending her weekend moving boxes is not helping. When she finds a box with a letter inside she decides that she should return it to its owner & along come photographer Henry. He shows her how being sensible should not mean there should be no magic. When Jenna decides she has had enough of her feckless boyfriend she stays with her sister who, with her partner, run a rehoming centre for guinea pigs. The centre is in danger due to a proposed development planned for the site. Can Henry's guinea pig calendar help to keep it going?

This book was a delight. I rarely read romances but I'm glad I picked this one up. It was good to have a main character with a disability & the guinea pigs (especially Snickers!) added a real splash of magic a lovely read altogether. Thanks to Netgalley & the publisher for letting me read & enjoy this book.

When Jenna's hapless boyfriend buys the contents of a storage locker to turn a quick profit. Jenna discovers a box filled with items filled with personal items including a letter. She then makes it her mission to reunite the box and the letters with its rightful owner.

This is a story about love and getting out of your comfort zone.

Love You From A-Z

Jenna doesn't believe in happily ever after. Growing up in a broken home and with an invisible disability, she learned from a young age to put practicality first. Her boyfriend is her polar opposite, jumping on the latest get-rich-quick bandwagons. When he buys the contents of a storage locker, with the intention to furn a quick profit, Jenna unearths a sentimental side of herself when she discovers some of the items in the locker are wanted by their owner.

After reuniting the owner with his possessions, Jenna finds there is much more to life than her pragmatic, financially stable goals.

Interwoven through the story is the story of a guinea pig rescue and their fight to save their home from development.

Overall, I found this to be a charming read. It follows the tried and true rom-com formula, of "girl meets boy, boy impresses girl, girl ditches unsatisfying partner, girl comes out of shell for new guy etc" And of course the happy ending.

The pacing felt a little stop-start at times, and I would have liked to have found out more about Little Paws at the end, but overall it was a pleasant read

You can’t help but fall in love with Jenna. In a moment of clarity she has a “I've had all I can stand and I can’t stand no more” moment and packs up and leaves Matt, her selfish, useless, unemployed sloth of a partner and moves in with her sister. She lives with chronic pain and disability and yet it isn’t written as the whole of who she is, but as a part of who she is with no fanfare. Kudos to the author for that! Her character is beautifully written. Smart, driven, curious, willing to stand up for herself and never willing to let her health issues dominate her world and stop her from living her best life. She finds herself on a wonderful adventure. Could she find her happily ever after that she wasn’t sure existed in real life? Enjoy the truly lovely read to join her on her journey. You won’t be sorry. I really adored this beautifully written story. I can't wait for her next release mid 2023! So long to wait.

A lovely story of a mystery box found in a sale that contains a variety of objects and a letter. Jenna decides to open the letter which then sets her on a trail to find out who Isla and Henry are and why did they separate. A great book but I so needed more closure at the end or even a sequel would be great

Thanks go to Netgalley and Harper Collins Publishing for the ARC of this book.
Although I don’t read a lot of this type of book I really enjoyed this one. Perfect holiday read. Characters were really likeable. The mixture of lovable animals and the light humour made it really readable.
Will certainly be looking for more like this one for my next holiday.

Fascinating… A beautiful story that captures your attention and your heart from beginning to end. Bears all the hallmarks of a great film. Great that disability was incorporated into the storytelling.
