Child like drawings are a plus to this neat story. Children wander outside and notice and explore many things we sometimes take for granted; rain, digging in the dirt, dandelions. Facts are shared about things you see appear in smaller fonts. Pollen and bees. Our immune system gets stronger when you spend time outdoors. Cute little book to help children explore the world around them.

A cute children's read about all the outdoors. As well as the magic of backyards. Every kid needs this book.

This beautiful and poetic nonfiction book brings children's observations of the world around them into focus through interesting facts and a variety of questions. Bringing out an element of mindfulness and the importance of fulling experiencing the world in the present. Information about animals, plans and all elements of nature you can find right outdoors can support children in answering their own questions through exploration and research. The story also recognizes and celebrates the fact that no matter where you live there are so many opportunities to go outside and explore the world, weather it be the park across the street, your back yard or even the sidewalk right outside your front door. As a grade 3 teacher I could definitely see using this book as an introduction to inquiry and learning about nature. I think that this book is perfect for teachers and families of inquisitive young children in the 3-10 age range. With text that is fairly easy to comprehend, I can see this book being read by older students but enjoyed as a shared reading for young children as well. I so appreciate Netgalley and the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read and review this fabulous book!

This was a cute book! My kids learned a lot about nature and how plants grow and things that live in the dirt thrive.

This is a lovely book with beautiful illustrations to show what you can notice by going outside. I loved the look into the senses and how to use them to look closely outside.
Great for little explorers to get them outside.

Thanks NetGalley for this copy!

I would recommend this book to patrons who want a book about the joys of nature. Each page has an observation about nature (strawberries taste great off the vine) and some factoids (peppers are fruits). It has a diverse set of characters.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an electronic copy to read in exchange for an honest review.

This colourful and vibrant picture book is a wonderful celebration of the beautiful and value of nature. Children will be engrossed in the pictures and the little tidbits of information highlighted on each page. There are many different outdoor areas shown; definitely making it known that nature and outside is accessible to everyone. I can't wait to add this one to my classroom library (urban kindergarten).

This is a lovely ode to all the wonder and bliss that can be found outdoors, in all kinds of settings. Each two-page spread shows a different outdoor environment with main text pointing out something wonderful that can be noticed there, and small bubbles adding fun facts relevant to the setting. I learned a couple of things I didn't know, which I always appreciate!

The illustrations are colorful, lively, and full of detail for young readers to appreciate. People from all walks of life are represented on the page, as well as diverse settings for outdoor exploration. This would be a great circle time read for pre-K and early elementary and would also be a fun family read that could inspire some fun outings!

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!

This is an adorable book. My son and I both really enjoyed the illustrations. I could relate to so many of the illustrations. When I was a child, I loved to make daisy and dandelion chains with my friends.

I was happy to see the inclusion of a little boy in a wheelchair. All children should know that they can enjoy the outside no matter their physical abilities.

This is a must read for any person who wants to encourage a child to enjoy the outdoors. I look forward to adding it to my son’s bookshelf.
