The Green New Deal and the Future of Work is a well-researched and well-conceived argument for why and how the American political sphere must change. While some of the information is already outdated due to recent labor developments, the whole is a valued read. The work's last line, "America today needs a story of public work" succinctly describes the plea that many Americans want to utter but can't. Something needs to change. Not everyone will agree with the Green New Deal, but there is a compromise to be found if people listened, really listened, to the public.

Thanks to NetGalley for this ARC! This book was a little hard to read, by nature of the proof-copy I received so that does play a bit into my overall review. However, I thought this was a timely work that was a really interesting perspective on Climate Change and Work. I look forward to the published copy of this work as I definitely want to re-read this again in the final edit copy to take more notes and digest this more.
