Hello, Goodbye follows Hailey as she begins to spend more time with her grandma who inspires her to figure out their family secrets. This was an incredible, heart-warming story that blended history, music, and love to create a tapestry of hope.

This was one of the best coming of age novels I have read in a long time. Hailey, our main character takes us through a wonderful journey, she grew and learned so much! But most of all this book allowed you to gain some perspective on how hard change can be for everyone.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

This was THE CUTEST coming-of-age story. I loved seeing Hailey's growth as she came to know and love her grandmother more and more. This grandmother/granddaughter relationship was something that I didn't know I needed but it was so freaking cute and I loved them so much. I loved all of the Beatles references, the cute and charming football player neighbor, the love of books, and the fun car rides.

Overall this was such a fun and quick-paced read that had me loving and rooting for the characters from page one.

Great coming of age novel! At fifteen, Hailey Rogers can't stand the idea of spending time with her grandmother each week at her parent's request. They don't know each other well, but from their first day spent together on, Hailey realizes how wise, charming, and fun her Gigi is. They share books, music, and Halie learns many family secrets. The most gorgeous boy at school is actually Gig's neighbor, so many possibilities open up for Halie. By summer's end, there will be a trauma that causes Halie to realize there is more to her Grandmother and mother's relationship than she could have imagined, that adults don't always tell the whole truth, and that sometimes love is just around the corner. Highly recommended! This is one of my favorite reads for 2022. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!
