Wow is this book ever insightful. I expected some interesting tips but got so much more. This is a guide to helping anyone to really become a better person by recognizing the things we do without realizing it. We all have mindless behaviors. It is empowering to understand them and do something proactive. I wish I could give this book 10 stars. It deserves it!

I really enjoyed this book - I was able to see facets of myself reflected in each story, and loved that each chapter finished with reflection exercises. No, this isn’t a “one size fits all” type of book. You aren’t presented with a singular solution- instead, you are asked to do some thinking and writing to find the solution(s) that works for YOUR life.

A book to awaken you to your mindless behaviors. The author does an amazing job at bringing the reader through a journey of self awareness. She tells stories and gives a bunch of examples of behaviors that can be identified and changed. I was inspired to become a better problem solver and have meaningful conversations with others and even myself.

An interesting book to show us how easy it is to mindlessly go through life, sometimes forsaking all our hopes and dreams because of society's programming. The author uses stories of others as examples (almost as if reading a novel in those sections) which I found interesting, then uses that story to show tips and techniques of mindless behaviors and what to do about it. That made it fun, unique, and interesting. A book about being mindful of your life, your personal boundaries, and releasing the expectations others put on you (and maybe the ones you put on yourself). How to put mindless behaviors behind you and become more mindful.

I really enjoyed reading this book and felt a sense of positivity about things. It really made me think about my own mindless behaviours. I will be reading this again to help me identify and work on my own kindless behaviours.

I liked the use of examples to show the impact and learning points about mindless behaviours.
