A lively and imaginative read for youngsters. It's fun and fast-paced and the world the author has created is fantastic. It does take a little while to fully become settled within the world of the story though.

Galactic Fun Park is a middle-grade fiction chapterbook series that tells the story of the hidden VIP members who live at a summer theme park. When the human guests start to complain about the animals living in the park, management decides they need to hire some exterminators. Despite the animals having some past animosity between their different species, the animals work together to try to win this battle and keep their home in the park. This book is fun, entertaining and shows the behind the scenes world of amusement parks from the perspective of animals. Between the amusement park and the animals, this book is sure to captivate middle grade readers. I would recommend this book for older middle grade readers as there are no pictures and the chapters are about 8 pages long with several chapters. Amazon says ages 9-12, I would agree with that, but think it might be a bit tough for most 9 year olds. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Galactic Fun Park is almost speculative fiction for kids. I just wanted it to get a little weirder. As it is - this book is a fun perspective that every cartoon watching child will easily grasp: the animal residents of the fun park have full and vibrant lives of their own while the humans go about their irritating lives. Written for Middle Grade - this book could easily become a cartoon series for kids of all ages.
