This book was sent to me electronically for review from Netgalley. A long ago murder...family dynamics...friendship...mystery...intrigue...characters who are likable, for the most part. Themes that run through this book written by a gifted author. It is difficult to put down, but at other times, the story goes slowly. Enjoy.

Not my cup of tea. I did not finish the the book because one character uses derogatory slang taking the Lord’s name in vein.

Inspired by the kindness and sense of right and wrong she learned from Father Michael Leary, Lindsay Keller became a prosecutor. His murder, still unsolved all these years later still haunts her and after a case she’s prosecuting goes badly wrong, Lindsay retreats to a job where she handles real estate transactions, it’s boring but it’s safe. Now, Lindsay has Father Leary’s wallet and a potential clue to solving his murder and she teams up with detective Brian Donavan to try to uncover the truth about the beloved priest’s murder.
