I requested this book ten years ago, and am no longer interested in reading. Thank you for the opportunity.

I am a huge fan of Lauren Graham, and this one is no exception. I recently read her memoir as well, and I think they both should be read in tandem. I definitely recommend this book for the beach or a bubble bath. So fun!

Yes! It's by Lauren Graham! That Lauren Graham. From Gilmore Girls! I'm normally not a big fan of Celebrity Books, but I know that Lauren Graham is SMART and she rocks. Also, she majored in English, so she has some cred. I tried to figure out if she used a ghostwriter for this one, but I couldn't find any information on that anywhere. So I'm hoping it's legit because overall, I liked this book. Franny was a bit unsure of herself, and normally I like strong female characters who don't take any crap from people like James. I think Dan could have been a bit more developed and played a bigger, more romantic role in the story. Perhaps there will be a sequel in which he is featured more? I would read that, for sure. Also, Franny never called anyone back. I understand that she didn't want to call until she had good news, but SERIOUSLY. It's your FATHER. Sometimes I kinda wanted to shake her. I'm glad the book ended on a happy note, and boy do I wish the screen on my nook was bigger so I could have seen the Filofax pages better. Those were a nice touch. Great job, Lauren Graham! *Note* This book would be ok for most teens. Minimal swearing, sex scenes (insinuated, but no detail.)

As a longtime fan of Lauren Graham as an actress (and a fan of realistic fiction about life in the performing arts), I was so excited to read Graham's first novel, and it did not disappoint!

Wait...does the book end with "BEEEP"? It feels incomplete somehow and now I just want to curl up into a ball because of it, because it's not finished. I need more closure than that, I want to see her really get together with the guy, and really have everything fall into place. I don't know why I'm so frustrated right now! I mean, I guess... but I want to actually SEE it!

Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this one. I don't normally read books like this. Actually, the only other time I've ever read a book by a celebrity or about an aspiring actress is back in 2010. I have so many quotes I need to copy down before my Netgalley expires. I suppose I'll write a full review in the future, but I really don't have much to say. If you like Lauren Graham, I wholeheartedly recommend SOMEDAY, SOMEDAY, MAYBE. If you're in the mood for a funny and witty story about an aspiring actress, you'd do well to read SOMEDAY, SOMEDAY, MAYBE. If you're in a similar situation, reaching toward some BIG goal that seems impossible, SOMEDAY, SOMEDAY, MAYBE will probably resonate in you.

I didn't get a chance to read this before it expired on my nook. I'm sorry! I did buy this and hope to one day read it!
