Just the kind of laugh-out-loud title to encourage and inspire. I loved "Lily" and Jake and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next!

This was such a cute and charming read! I loved watching Lydia’s growth throughout this book and was rooting for her! I adored her quirky Polish family and their friends. This is a must-read for lovers of second chances and readers who cheer when female characters come into their own. I look forward to reading more from Katherine Dyson!

I just loved Lily Bennett’s Bucket List by Katherine Dyson. You find someone else’s bucket list in a shopping trolley, what do you do with it? You attempt complete it but with a few twists along the way. A gentle story that may inspire you into making your own bucket list. Read in one day, I could not put it down.

I love a starting over or making my life better story, so this had everything I wanted in that. Lydia's list was super entertaining, and I loved travelling along it with her.

This was a really fun read. Although Lydia annoyed me a little to start with, mooning over her ex who was obvious trash was a tad irritating, but once her adventures with Jake started and she 'found' herself she was much better.

I love fake dating anyway so this was bound to be enjoyable to me but I found it to be quite refreshing too. I also liked that Lydia was a bit older than the usual main character, overall a great easy comfort read.

Fabulous Read

I absolutely loved this book. Lydia is trying to get over her ex husband and finds adventure buddy Jake to complete her bucket list to win him back and show him how adventurous she is.

Somewhere along the line they blossom into a perfect pair. It’s a really sweet story with a great selection of characters.

I love the strong sense of family and relationships throughout the book.

This is an absolute joy to read.

Good read. Great characters, enjoyed the setting, lots of side stories weaved into it and it flowed really well. A good read for a rubbish day. Will make you feel better!

Lydia does not. She is tired, overwhelming and completely lost in her life. Her husband left her for someone younger, her daughter is at uni far away from hometown and she has a job that she really hates.
And then she find this - Lily Bennett's Bucket List.

She does not know who the heck Lily is and why this list is in her shopping cart, but anyway, decide to complete it as the first step to change her life and attitude. This list seems to be a motivations for her to move forward. So, she not only decide to complete it, but also find a fierce Lily Bennett and give her back her list.

This story is like a hot chocolate in the winter storm. It's heart-warming, giving hope that it is never to late to start something new and create a new chapter for yourself. It is about the family, stong bonds and people who you can always rely on, no matter what. And finding youself even when your world seems to collapse.

Honestly? I'm greateful for this story. For so many reasons, I needed to hear that I don't need to stay in the reality that I don't really like. That Lydia was able to create something special for herself so anyone can do it do.

I'd really recommend it to anymore looking for a cosy story.

When Lydia discovers someones bucket list she decides she might as well give it a go. With the help of Jack she embarks on her mission. Jack does not know the full truth and Lydia is frightened of losing him. Although predictable this book makes you feel positive. Such a lovely read.

Lydia’s story of finding her way in the world at 40 (and accidentally finding love along the way!) is warm, funny, and uplifting. This book is a gem and I love Katherine Dyson’s voice.

Different to read a debut book as you don't know what it will be like. The cover was interesting which was a good start for me. Well written with relatable characters.

This was a funny, and uplifting book. So refreshing and such a sweet read. It was such a pleasure to read and although I guessed what Willie happen in the end it was still a lovely read. This was nice. Lydia leads a boring, safe life. She's worked in the bank for years, married young and had her daughter while still in her teens. And now her husband has left her. Determined to win him back, when Lydia finds a sheet of purple paper with Lily Bennett's bucket list on it, she decides to tick off the activities and show Adam she's a new adventurous model. Like his new girlfriend. On a dating app, Lydia finds Jake, not for romance but to complete the list with her. And so begins a lovely, supportive friendship. What could go wrong? Likeable characters, humour (especially the Polish family), fun and adventure. A predictable outcome but moments of self realisation make for some more serious themes. I hadn't read anything by this Author before, but I was invited to read this book by the Publisher.
This is an enjoyable and easy read. I liked reading about the adventures that Lydia and Jake had. It is a fun and entertaining read.

Lily Bennett's Bucket List by Katherine Dyson is quite an enjoyable book to read. Characters that you liked. A storyline that was interesting and uncomplicated with the odd good twist thrown in. This was a new to me author and I enjoyed her writing very much!
