I loved reading and sharing these random facts with my family and friends. Every time we have a gathering, the guide of random facts comes out and the laughter starts. I've now gifted several copies in my circle to insure the fun is shared.

A fun way to have a trivia night. I'm not ready for jeopardy but I didn't do to bad. Trivia has always been a fun way to spend a car ride or liven up a party. My Father was a master of trivia but as an adult I think he fudged sometimes.

Some of these really blew my mind. There’s a line in Disney’s Pocahontas “you’ll learn things you never knew, you never knew” I never understood that until this book.

I love a good trivia book. I've got loads of the Qi and Dr Karl books that are brimming full of facts and trivia on all sorts of topics.

The Ultimate Guide of Random Facts is more like a Trivia Night playbook than a true book of facts - it is laid out in question-and-answer format, with 20 question in each category listed before the answers are given.

Some of the trivia in the book is, as the title suggests, utterly random, but it does cover a wide range of topics, and is both regional- and age- inclusive.

Not quite the guide of facts I was expecting, but a very good resource for trivia night organsiers anyway.

~Many thanks to NetGalley for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review~

Do not come here thinking this is a "guide" "of" "random facts", of any level of ultimacy. It's a quiz book, more or less, and a rather flawed one at that. Get over the problem you have remembering the film "A Flash Called Wanda", and you get asked "which Disney Channel series launched Miley Series to fame?" The answer is Simon Mayo, apparently, which is news to him I'm sure – as is the existence of someone called Miley Series.

It does then turn into a list of factoids, but I rather think trust in them has been a little torn by now. After that it's mental acuity again, with lists of things that need to be matched – Hollywood star with spouse, author with novel title, you with the gist etc. A gamut of multiple choice questions follows, and like the first chunk all these go so far then give the answers, in the format I saw this. There's nothing to stop Qs and As being on the same screen, but neither is there a mass flick or click to get to the other end of the book. We close with some toilet reading-friendly trivia mini-articles, again more to try and justify the title than from any authority.

All told it's not too bad an attempt at a populist quiz book (far too much Harry Potter nonsense for the more cerebral audience), peppered by dodgy things like what colour eyes Athena was said to have. It's certainly shorn of editorialising. It's just utterly untrustworthy, and unready, as I saw it. But give it a good check-over, and it might have some use eventually. For now, it's an unfortunate lack of stars.

Quick and easy read and learned so incredibly much. Enjoyed the randomness of the facts and have had lots of fun passing on the knowledge learned. Will definitely buy it for a friend!

This is a must have for people who dream of being on Jeopardy, doing pub quizzes or hosting game night. I was a little disappointed because I didn't think it was set up as a self-quiz book, but I've had a lot of fun quizzing myself and anyone else who will sit still for it. There are a lot of great facts to lean about pop trivia.

Thank you, NetGalley, for the chance to read and review a copy of this book. All opinions expressed are mine and given freely.

This is a fun book for trivia lovers or even lovers of useless information. I read this or I should say shared this book on a road trip and it was like our own little Jeopardy game in the car. There are a wide range of topics and you don't have to look in the back of the book for the answers like some trivia books. They were right there on the next page. Some things were pretty well known and then there were some not so well known. You can have a fun night seeing how much useless information you know.

The movies, TV, politics and sports this book covers all of that and more. The night I got the bookworm my husband, children and I stayed up until way past our bedtime reading the questions to each other. We thrive on trivia and this was one of the better trivia books we’ve had. If you love trivia then you’ll definitely love this book we certainly did and we have at least 30 trivia books on our library shelves. I highly recommend this to anyone who thinks they know useless information and/or an expert on entertainment. I was given this book by Ned Gally and I am leaving dist review voluntarily. Please forgive any grammatical approunctuational errors as I am blind and dictate my review but all opinions are my own.

While this book was't what I was expecting (I was looking for interesting facts) it was a good "question and answer" style book. It had several categories and was well written.
Thank you NetGalley for providing this copy. This opinion is solely my own.

Lots of fun trivia questions over a few categories. The formatting of the book was a bit of an issue but the content was great!

The Ultimate Guide of Random Facts by Cerebrum Publishing. Here I thought I was good at knowing trivial and random facts, The author came up with so many facts in different categories that I hadn't been aware of. Fun book and educational too.

Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the opportunity to preview the book.

Those who love trivia and arcane facts (or who hope to make millions on Jeopardy one day) will enjoy this book. There are many questions here and they involve everything from fill in the blank to multiple choice to matching questions, to questions.

Categories include movies, celebrities, history, food, classic literature and more. If answering questions or just getting some new information appeals to you, give this one a look. It could be used for a fun pub quiz or family quiz night.

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this title. All opinions are my own.
