This book was a fun listen in the car with kids! I got a refresher course and my kids learned something new!!

This is an AWESOME classroom resource for introducing Roman numerals! I love that they remind you to have paper and pencil ready, and I think that a teacher writing down the examples they are giving would work well for students to follow along. The real life examples they provided would resonate with students and the pacing was slow enough to follow but not so slow as to lead to boredom. The voice acting was great and I loved the accents and tone. Highly recommend!

I hardly read children's books for myself, but this one spoke to me. I actually learned something that has always interested me. I grew up Catholic and my grandmother's church showed the Stations of the Cross in Roman Numerals, which I never spent much time trying to learn, but always wanted to know how to read. The only thing I did not like about this book in audiobook form was the music playing constantly. I felt pulled to the music more than the actual words more than a few times. Other than that, it was entertaining and educational.

Informative and FUN book! I had the pleasure of listening to this audiobook. My sons, ages 14, 12 and 8 enjoyed this book as well. It was an engaging way to introduce Roman numerals to children, and I appreciated the review.. The narrator, June Angela, had a pleasant voice. I highly recommend this book to parents, teachers, and students. I definitely want to add this book to my classroom library.
I want to thank Lucy Hayes, Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for a complimentary copy of the audio book. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.
