I always like anthology books since you get stories from multiple authors. Each story revolves around a quilt that is special to the main character. The characters are interesting and the stories are varied. In the first story, The Secret Wish, Avery is looking for a new start and finds it in her great-grandma's quilt store and the mystery surrounding the shadowy man living in the store's attic. Daniel, the town's sheriff, helps Avery stay safe and solve the whodunit. In Wish Upon a Wedding, Ellie shows up to help with a quilting bee for her grandma and finds a second chance with a first love, Dalton. With When You Wish Upon a Quilt, Paige comes the Quilt show with hope that this year is her year for success. She meets Holt who hopes to convince her to give love a chance.

Loved all the stories. Avery Cleveland comes into Last Chance to her grandmothers old quilt shop. It's hers if she stays 1 year. Avery has lost her job and her savings and needs a place to stay. Daniel Solis the sheriff sees her the first night she arrives accuses her of B&E. Neither or looking for a relationship, but seem to be headed that way. Avery's been sleeping in the store at night and finds there is a nightly visitor that comes in a window and watches the coffee shop. Good suspense story.
Ellie's sister is getting married and instead of a bachelorette party is having a quilting bee instead. The localation of the venue is their former childhood grief camp. It seems that the man that now owns the ranch is Ellie's old boyfriend. Can they reconnect and find the love they lost.
Paige Holiday has really poor taste in men. She always picks the users. She is returning to Houston for the yearly quilting events. Last time she was here a man stole her heart and her designs. Can Paige learn to trust the cowboy staying at her hotel while helping his sister at the quilting expo?
All these stories are well written short easy reads.

This was a compilation of 3 stories by different authors. I have read Jodi Thomas before, but Lori Wilde & Patience Griffin were new authors to me. The stories were about a quilt bringing hope to each of the owners. I learned how meaningful a quilt can be & about all the work and feelings that go into making one. I enjoyed all 3 of these stories, even though I still prefer Jodi Thomas to the others.

Sweet, charming, and engaging romance short stories. Really loved the first one, the second one was okay, and the third was a delight. Not a quilter but appreciate the work involved. Nice way to discover new to me authors, although I am fairly certain I have read books by all these ladies previously. If not, I will be checking them out. Thanks to the publisher for providing a copy via NetGalley. My review is voluntary.

Three great novellas by three great authors using the theme of quilts.
The Secret Wish – another delightful story by Jodi Thomas. Wish it had been longer. I love her stories about small Texas towns and the people who live there.
Wish Upon a Wedding by Lori Wilde—A nice story about second chances. A destination wedding at a former camp. The Star-crossed sweethearts have a second chances while creating a memory quilt
When You Wish Upon a Quilt by Patience Griffin. This is my first time reading something by Ms. Griffin. But it will not be my last. Paige is returning to the quilt show in Houston where she was humiliated. She meets a man who helps her. Nice writing
I enjoyed all three stories and highly recommend this book.

I was expecting a little more emphasis on quilting not love at first sight stories. My favorite was the third story because of the description of the quilt market and festival. Not a fan of instant love then fall in bed.

The Wishing Quilt is a collection of three stories by three outstanding authors. Admittedly I read it because I am such a fan of Jody Thomas. Jody has such a talent for building unique and special characters. I never can pinpoint what she does that just sucks me into the story and keeps me until the very last line. All three of the stories revolving around quilting. Even though I am not a quilter I enjoyed the stories of women trying to put their lives back together.
Avery comes home to run her late grandmother’s quilt shop after an injury causes her to lose her dancing career. Sheriff Dan is smitten with her; even if he doesn’t know what to do about it. Jody also throws a little mystery into the story.

Sexual content - kissing
Violence - someone gets shot

Wish Upon a Wedding by Lori Wilde is a second chance romance. He gave her up so she would go to college to be a doctor. Now 13 years later they meet again and the sparks are still there. Can they move on from the past?

I loved how her sister’s bachelorette party was a quilting party to make a memory quilt for the grandmother that was losing her memory. What a special idea.

Sex. One physical scene

I usually do not like stories of a misunderstanding. But I could totally relate and understand Paige’s concern about her designs being stolen and her being taken advantage of again.
Holt did nothing to deserve it but I understand her skepticism. Holt was a perfect gentleman and a hunky cowboy.
The quilting ladies were precious. They were looking out for Paige.

This was a sweet clean romance. Kissing only.

I enjoyed all three stories. They were clean, fun, and heartwarming. They all have one thing in common and that is making quilts. If I were handy at sewing, I would learn how to make quilts myself. All in all they were good books. I am grateful that netgalley and the publishers, let me read this in exchange for an honest review.

Outstanding trio of books by excellent authors with a quilt theme throughout! Any quilter would enjoy picking up this book to read between quilt projects :). This was my first read by Jodi Thomas and it was excellent. I’m a return reader of both Lori Foster and Patience Griffin so thoroughly enjoyed their contributions.

Just how lucky can you get. Three heartwarming, special stories written by some of my favorite authors. Jodi Thomas, Lori Wilde, and Patience Griffin penned three stories all of which revolve around the craft of quilting. As a crafty woman I have tried my hand at a very elemental level of this age-old craft. So when reading of the wondrous items folks made of random, and some not so random, swatches of cloth I fell madly in love with each of the three tales.

All three authors brought a different slant to stories of people trying to put their lives back together. Kind of like a quilt. Each square represents something unique to the maker. Each quilt meant something special to the quilter. Sometimes it took center stage as a reminder of people that passed. All and all the quilts remained an important part of their lives.

Sometimes all you are looking for is kindness. Someone to cushion the blow so to speak. In SECRET WISH the first story of THE WISHING QUILT book we are reminded of this fact. Avery’s great grandmother left her quilt shop to anyone in the family who would work it at least one year. Not much left in the dusty old shop but a ghost and a cat. Avery’s career as a ballerina was as broken as the shop. But in the recesses of her mind there were some vague images and memories. Avery considered herself unlucky, but she survived her fall from grace – literally – and determined to stay the year in While-A-Way and sell to return home to Austin. Along with the shop and house Avery inherits the wishing quilt her great grandmother made for her.
County Sheriff Dan is sort of charming in his own way. He compares himself to Avery when he says she is beautiful albeit a little wrinkled and muddy – just like him in the morning. Total Jodi Thomas humor at her best.
Be prepared to be enchanted by THE SECRET WISH, each chapter alive with hope and joy despite the less than encouraging views Avery has of this small town.

Next up is WISH UPON A WEDDING by Lori Wilde, another favorite author of mine. Ellie arrives at Dusty Sagebrush Ranch, once a summer grief camp for kids that Ellie and her sister Camille had attended when they lost their dad. Now a dude ranch and site of Camille’s wedding. Ellie is a doctor specializing in injured bull riders. She was mustering up some dusty quilt making skills for a memory quilt for grandma. The ranch is now owned by the man Ellie left behind to follow her dream of becoming doctor. A man that broke her heart. Not a fond memory.
Memories are a central focus in WISH UPON A WEDDING – make new memories for her sister and preserve lost ones for grandma. And perhaps create new memories for herself while she’s at it.

WHEN YOU WISH UPON A QUILT by Patience Griffin is last at bat. Paige Holiday teaches quilting at workshops and quilt shops travelling all over the USA. Home was Sweet Home Alaska. Paige felt cursed to have same bad taste in men as did her mom and grandmother. In short Paige had major trust issues. Her prize possession was a tote made for a wishing quilt by grandma. Paige was looking to expand her horizons, design her own line of quilt fabrics. A stroke of bad luck and unwise choices had put a delay in her plan. Now a little bit older and wiser Paige is determined to give it another try and no one, especially no man is going to ruin her chances of attaining her goal.

THE WISHING QUILT is a delightful journey into a very compassionate world of crafting. And each of the three authors imbibed a ton of heartwarming scenes and dialog making the book a total delight to read.

I really enjoyed these three sweet clean Texas romances. I love how each story was written around quilts. Each story takes place in Texas and is very unique. The first story is by Jodi Thomas who is such an amazing writer and she continues to capture me from the beginning and always leaves me wanting much more. The other two authors are new to me but I enjoyed their books and I. Will be searching for more of their books. Thank you NetGalley.

Thank you NetGalley, the author, and the publisher, for the opportunity to read and give an honest review of this book.

After being immersed in mysteries and thrillers for a number of books, I looked forward to a summer read that was a light and fluffy romantic story. This book fit the bill. It was not one story but three different short ones.

Interwoven throughout, was the idea of the importance of a quilt, the wishing quilt. The stories were a good length so that you could get through one in a single sitting.

The first story was special in that it involved a girl that comes back to a town where she inherited her grandmother’s old quilt shop. She is welcomed by the quilters in town and restores the quilt store to its former glory and she starts a dance studio for little ones upstairs.

The Wishing Quilt is three very different novellas with a quilting theme. These quick, easy, feel-good reads are so much fun. Even if you're not a quilter, you'll love them. I enjoyed all three of them immensely!

The Wishing Quilt is a trio of cowboy and quilting romances
Ms. Thomas’ The Secret Wish is a lovely uplifting tale of second chances and true love. Avery Cleveland is a formerly world famous ballerina, now broke after a devastating injury. The only thing she has now is an inherited closed quilt shop in a small Texas town to make a life with. She finally feels like she’s found a home and a good man. It also contains some hot men and a bit of excitement.
Ms.Wilde brings Wish Upon A Quilt to the mix, a second chance for love. Dr, Ellie Winter returns to a grief camp she attended as a child for her sister’s wedding and meets her first and only love. He runs it as a dude ranch and the pair rekindle the flames at the planned quilting/bachlorette party.
Ms. Griffin’s When You Wish Upon A Quilt finishes the trio. Paige Holiday teaches quilting, traveling to quilt stores for a living. She dreams of designing the fabrics for the quilts herself, but lacks the confidence and connections to make her dreams come true. The appearance of a smokin’ hot cowboy may be the answer to more than one of her dreams.
If you like quilting and or cowboy romances don’t miss this one.
I requested and received a NetGalley ARC to peruse and give my opinion freely.

Although the quilting premise was interesting one of the stories was so sexually graphic that it diminished the entire book for me. I hadn't read anything by Patience Griffin before and will look into more by her. Overall I enjoy more uplifting and positive anthologies.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

The Wishing Quilt is an anthology containing three stories. You cannot go wrong with any of the 3 authors in this book but put them all together and you have one fabulous novel. All are inspirational and entertaining.
The Secret Wish by Jodi Thomas - Down on her luck, Avery inherits her great-grandmother's quilt shop. She knows nothing about quilting, let alone running a store but she can learn. The local sheriff is smitten with Avery from the moment he laid eyes on her. He will do whatever it takes to convince Avery to make While-A-Way, Tx her home.
Wish Upon A Wedding by Lori Wilde - This is a second chance romance. Ellie throws an old-fashioned quilting bee as a bachelorette party for her sister. When she arrives at the ranch, Ellie-a rodeo doctor-watches in horror as a huge bull attacks the ranch owner. She runs to help him and discovers he the boy, now a man, that broke her heart 13 years ago. She has never stopped loving him. Will they be able to pick up where they left off?
When You Wish Upon A Quilt by Patience Griffen - This is a love at first sight story. The women in Paige's family have very little luck with men and Paige is not the trusting sort. However, there is something about the handsome cowboy that serves as her Uber driver and appears again at her Quilt Convention. Is he too good to be true?
Thank you to NetGalley and Zebra Books for this advanced review copy. In return, I am submitting my unbiased and voluntary review. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

Avery is a broken dancer with a broken heart and broken dreams. But she does have one thing: the wishing quilt. She and Sherriff Dan are a pair of grumpy sunshines with a sweet story. "If you can twirl all over Europe, you can do this."

Ellie has an interfering sister and an ex who keeps interfering in her thoughts. I absolutely adore Ellie! From the first text she sends her sister to the quilt she's making from her dad's old shirts, Ellie feels like a friend. "It's a memory quilt. Memories are the point." There's a cute reference to Hannah Montana. And I love that she says the ranch smells like home! The story is sweet and spicy and perfect.

Paige is a quilt lover, and not interested in finding a man. She's seen what that sort of thing can do. A true grumpy sunshine, a workaholic with walls around her heart. "She reminded herself she was too smart to repeat the mistakes of the past." And then Holt appears in a Stetson at the Quilt Market. Well, he's just as much a workaholic as she is, but patently irresistible.

Three stories, expertly told, and worth the read.

For a book about quilts, there seems to be very little quilting going on. I picked this book to read because I've been a fan of Jennifer Chiaverini's Elm Creek Quilt books for some time and was hoping to read a few stories about quilting, but that's not this book. If you are looking for stories where characters spend a lot of time quilting, this is not the book for you. If you are looking for a book where the characters mention quilts briefly, but spend the rest of their time finding love, this is your book.
The first story in the collection was pretty interesting, but I felt completely blind-sided by where the plot ended up going! I thought I was going to read about someone starting their life over and instead got pulled into a cop chase about drugs. While it was a fun ride and I enjoyed it, the story seemed to veer off from what I thought it would be about into a crime drama.
The second story was the worst of the bunch. Maybe it's that I don't care for rodeos or cowboys, but this one just dragged and dragged. The characters weren't particularly memorable and when I thought the story was going to end as they walked off to a moonlight walk, it kept going and then there were pages and pages of foreplay and sex. And then more story! I was so happy when it finally ended after manufacturing a whole bunch more conflict between them.
All in all, I don't think I'd recommend this book. The stories don't have much to do with quilting at all except brief mentions and the writers didn't seem to really know what they wanted to write, a sexy romance, a story about starting over, or a crime drama. I'm happy to be done with this one, I'm now in a reading funk.
