Reckless is a steamy small town romance. Maverick and Jade have an undeniable chemistry but neither was ready or willing to give into their feelings when they first meet. They both have pasts that they needed to work through and move forward from. Their friends, the couples from the previous books, are all on hand to lend support and in the case of the guys, “they gossip like schoolgirls” so nothing was a secret between the group anyways. That’s so funny! I love that all the friends were essentially family even though they were not blood-related. And the ending was perfect!

Thanks Montlake via NetGalley for this ARC.

Jade moves to Montana after her life in Oregon fell apart. She lost her business and her boyfriend all within a couple of weeks of each other. She decides to see if Montana can give her a fresh start. Her "sister" Cybil convinces her to stay with her, Tanner and their new baby until she gets on her feet. They do one better and set her up with a place of her own to start. She is not looking for love, just a new direction in her life.
Maverick owns the wilderness retreat with Tanner and Blake. He has seen both of his friends succumb to love and is not looking for it on his own. His childhood was marked with an absentee mother and a father who worked all of the time. His older sister raised him and he has definite commitment issues when it comes to relationships. He likes Jade, but does not want a relationship with her in the beginning.
They start out slowly as somewhat friends. Maverick pushes her to see him as something more, which was nice. Jade was in her head a lot and needed someone to get her moving forward. They both are slow to acknowledge that the other one may like them more than a friend. When Jade finally starts to open her heart, she realizes that she may get burned. Maverick also realizes that they are a good fit, but is really not ready to admit he wants a future with her.
I do not want to give the story away, so I will not go into detail of what happens between these 2. I will say that I did enjoy the ride I was taken on. As usual, ARR was not shy in letting her characters have flaws and I liked that. Neither Jade, nor Maverick were perfect. Both had issues and she addressed those in a good way. Their ending was perfect for them.
If you read the other 2 books in this series, or are a ARR fain, this book is for you.
I received an ARC from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest review.

Thank goodness Aurora Rose Reynolds paired up Maverick with Jade! I loved how their story began. I could feel the chemistry and connection between them from the very start. Their characters meshed in the best way.

Maverick was the alpha type of personality I have come to expect from ARR's male characters, but he was that in an understated sort of way. He had some deep scars from his past that made him who he was. Jade had new scars she was dealing with from some recent poor choices and a parental health scare. She was a strong woman who learned from her mistakes and made some decisions I greatly respected. Both were characters I adored and wanted to be together.

What I loved most about this book was getting the moments when Maverick and Jade got to know each other by doing normal dating things. There was still kind of the instant love vibe that I expect from ARR, but there was a slower build up to it with the almost the first entire half of the book being Maverick and Jade spending time together. Their romance was sweet, even with the bumps they faced.

Those bumps... The biggest one had me conflicted. I liked how it was handled. The decisions the characters made at that point were good ones. It did have me pausing for a minute thinking about Maverick for a minute, but only because I wanted to make sure everything felt true to his character. I was glad that it did because I enjoyed this love story. I would say it's my favorite in the series so far.

Oh, and I just want to say I hope this series isn't over yet. I know we've kind of got pieces of Margret and Mason's story throughout the series so far, but I would still love them to get their own book. I also wouldn't mind Ken's ex getting her own story as well.

So good!

I haven't read the previous books in the series so I wasn't sure if I'd miss things or not. While I definitely missed some backstory, it didn't affect my enjoyment of this story.

The characters were fabulous, the storyline was great, the angst wasn't too much, and the epilogue left me quite happy.

Totally recommend!

So sad this series is ending!! The final installment in this series focuses on the final guy from the group, Maverick, and how he ends up falling in love with Cybil’s best friend Jade. After a stream of bad luck in her life where she lost her business and was swindled by a boyfriend, Jade has decided the best decision is to move to be closer to Cybil and start over with her business and financial situation. But when the start to the move ends in disaster as Jade ends up stuck in a snowstorm, Maverick comes to save the day and rescue Jade and the initial sparks and chemistry fly off the pages! As Jade’s move progresses and she starts to establish herself in town, she continues to fight the instant feelings she feels for Maverick, and he does much of the same until a situation causes them to admit how they feel, and they decide to explore those feelings together on the downlow. My heart really felt for Jade, and it seemed like she couldn’t catch a break as she tried to build her life back up, but thankfully it seemed that Maverick was always there to catch and help her. Maverick’s childhood trauma also played a role in their relationship, but thankfully his friends and family make sure that he figures things out in time. I truly enjoyed this series, much like the rest of ARR’s books, but this series was one of her best and I can’t wait to see what she comes out with next!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I love Aurora's books.

Perfect escapism.

Not too heavy, a bit steamy and a heartfelt storyline.

Loved it.

I thought this was a great story! I’m only giving it four and half stars though since it didn’t involve any drama. I need a little drama in my love story!!!
Jade and Maverick have met several times over the years, but how she lives in the same town as him.
Insta lust!!!
Too bad he never wants to get married….
And she nervous for all their friends to find out about them…

A sweet romance that I was looking forward to !

While we had already had a glimpse of Jade (Cybil's best friend) in the previous books but also of Maverick (one of Tanner's friends), we finally have their romance and this is the kind of book that makes you melt =)

What I particularly liked :
- the small Montana village atmosphere that I particularly appreciate (I WANT MAVERICK'S HOUSE!!) (And also work in Jade's bookshop =D)
- the sweet romance that took shape over the pages (huge love for the tub <3) with more romantic than graphic sex scenes ... And I love it =D
- the alternation between the two points of view (I loved having small glimpses of Maverick's point of view =))
- THE END (love the "wedding thing" ... I won't say more =D)

I would have liked to have had more dramas (it's my drama queen side xD) but the soft tone of romance is perfect for evenings by the fire =)

In short, for fans of Aurora Rose Reynolds or just sweet romances in villages, I totally recommend it =)

PS2 : to the publisher and Netgalley, thank you so much for the ARC =D

I love reading about maverick and jade and I can not believe this is the last book in this series I wish there was more

This is a highly anticipated story and I enjoyed it. But I think its one of my least favorite ones in the series. I think thats because of Maverick. He as the hero in this book was just not as great as Blake and Tanner. At times I found him a bit wishy washy. I really like stronger characters and I found him a bit immature.

This is book #3 from the Adventures in Love series and it easily stands alone but its also connected to the first book, Rushed, as Maverick is Tanner's friend and co-worker and Jade is Cybil's best friend. In this story Jade is moving to Montana in the midst of a freak storm and Mav is sent to rescue her.

Then as she moves to town her sees a lot more of her until he finally breaks and can't resist her anymore and they begin a secret romance that is not super secret. I found Mav wishy washy because he claims to not want marriage and babies but he has no real reason for it. He also likes Jade but it takes her dating someone else to make a play for her.

That said i liked seeing all my favorite characters again and I loved Jade. I adored how Liam and her open a coffee book store and also sell the town creations. This was a really fun story and I loved revisiting the characters again.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley for a honest review.

Reckless is book #3 from the Adventures in Love series and this is Jade and Maverick's story. As always with Aurora Rose's books, this story is sweet and makes you feel good. Jade is moving to Big Sky Country to start over and to be with her bestie. She has met Maverick a few times before but nothing came of it. Now that she is living close by they seem to be hanging out and getting to know each other and what they know they really seem to like. This story is about learning to trust againa and the comfort of friends.

After reading the first book in the Adventures in Love series (I gave it 2 stars), I didn't have high hopes for this book. Reckless was an unexpected delight that I really enjoyed.

Reckless follows Jade, Cybil's best friend (from Rushed), and Maverick. This story takes us back to a small town in Montana, and I really love a small-town romance. After essentially hitting rock bottom, Jade decides to move to Montana to be closer to her best friend. On her drive over, she gets stuck in a snowstorm, but Maverick is there to help her. This story was a lot more emotional than the first in the series, in my opinion, but that's what made it so great. I loved both Jade and Maverick, and the way their friendship blossomed into love despite both being hurt in the past. Jade's character in particular was relatable and genuine. She's a strong heroine who's understandably skittish when it comes to love. The attraction and chemistry between Jade and Maverick were evident from their first meeting, but I appreciated the gradual progression in their relationship. I also love a good groveling hero! Overall, this is a light and quick read. If you enjoy slow-burn, small-town romances with low angst, you may like this one!

This book is part of an interconnected standalone series, so you don't need to read the previous two in the Adventures of Love series. I haven't read the second book in the series, but I was glad that I read Rushed and got to see more of Cybil and Tanner in Reckless.

Reckless is the 3rd in Adventures in Love series. It's Maverick's turn!! Jade is moving to Montana for a fresh start after a failed relationship and losing her business. After getting stuck in a blizzard her best friend Cybil sends Maverick to help her. The sparks fly but Jade is still licking her wounds from her previous relationship. I really enjoyed their love story and love all the secondary characters. I have read all the books in the series and recommend them all. The author Aurora Rose Reynolds does a great job at keeping your interest.

Received from Netgalley for my honest opinion.

This is the third installment in this series and is about Maverick and Jade. Maverick is the 3rd friend that runs the outdoor adventure company. Jade is best friends with Cybil from one of the other books and she decides to move to Montana after her life imploded. She and Maverick are instantly attracted to each other, but think they are hiding their budding relationship from the other friends. Things begin to get more serious but both have hurts from the past that cause doubts. Good finale to series and worth the read.

A Five-star read that will set your heart on a Reckless beat. This is number three in the Adventures in Live series and can be read as stand-alone as they do give us the story of a different couple, but they do pop up in each other’s story’s and I have loved reading them in order, if you are like me and want to devour every detail its best to read them in order. Maverick is just someone you need to get under that tough outer shell with, find out what makes him tick. Then you have Jade, who has been through so much, and just needs a fresh start, a do over that will make life great again for her. This story has it all, great friendships, relationships that will make you swoon and just a general great read that will sweep you up and leave you happy and fulfilled.

Reckless by A.R. Reynolds, published by Montlake is the third stand-alone in the Adventures in Love Series. Every book has cross-overs to other books in the series. For best reading experience I recommend to read the books in order.
But back to Jade and Maverick.
Jade is best friends with Cybil, Tanner's wife from book one. She's out of luck, - less aka homeless, jobless, pennyless. She needs to start over with new everything and why not move to Montana where Cybil lives. Tanner is friends and business partner with Maverick.
And Maverick becomes knight in shining truck for Jade. Their attraction is through the roof high, but Jade is burned and all, rather skittish.
This is a beautiful, beautiful slow burn. An emotional read that had me in tears more than one time. A story that let the reader connect with the charcters so easily, let them stay even after finishing the book. An outstanding 5 stars read.

A short and sweet read, Reckless follows Jade and Maverick both learning to trust after being hurt. These characters are so sweet and compliment each other really well. The progression of the relationship felt really natural. If you are looking for a low angst small town romance with some spice, pick this up.

Another feel good romance from ARR! The last of our adventure titans falls in this feel good, steamy, sexy, secret romance. Maverick and Jade didn’t mean to have a relationship, but it happened. The attraction between them wouldn’t be denied, and there aren’t ones to deny themselves. Trouble is, when the emotions came into play, she was ready but he is not. Meddling, gossipy, men try to right him, and the grovelling begins! We get all of our favourites from the series throughout, a wedding, cute kids, and look into the future and life after the HEA <3
