This was cute with pretty low angst. I'd recommend reading the first two books before this, as the other couples are in this a lot. Which I loved seeing how they're doing. Jade is new in town but they all just welcome her right into the group, especially Maverick who is so sweet on her. The transition to more with them is pretty painless until near the end, but it all works out. I loved Maverick's dirty talk, and this was a good easy love story.

Jade is heading to Montana to start over with her life after things ended in a relationship and she lost her business. Maverick is the last single one in his group of friends and he is really closed off when it comes to relationships.
Jade and Maverick have met before considering their best friends are married to each other. They have a connection with each other and from the start of the book you can feel the chemistry between them. However, with Maverick being closed off to relationships, Jade not wanting to get into any relationship, and wanting to avoid any awkwardness in their friend group.
I loved Jade and Maverick. I loved seeing their relationship progress, though it was quick nothing felt unnatural. There is a level of comfort between them that allows them to both slowly let the other one in more and more over time.
This was just an overall sweet, low angst read. Plus, the epilogue was just a great wrap up to the entire series.
If you’re looking for a small town, friends to lovers romance this is one to check out.

Ok, so most of you know that in this series Tanner is my number one guy. I’ve already staked my claim. You know the whole cooking and reading to her in the bath really locked him in, but I think I could really go for a Tanner and Maverick sandwich…don’t judge me…just sayin😉😁. You are gonna feel the same after you read this book…I just happened to read it first, and making you all aware of how awesome Maverick is too. In fact, really all the guys in this series will make your ovaries pulse….you are welcome.

Jade is Cybil’s bestie, and she is moving to start a new life, and of course be close to her bestie. She is driving from Seattle to Montana when a snowstorm hits, and Cybil calls Maverick to come get Jade. They have instant attraction, but they are both hesitant and both for good reasons. Maverick is patient, and just slowly makes his intentions known.

Safe read, with a sweet storyline. I love this world, and all the characters in it. It’s one of the most romantic series, that may sound odd, but for me it’s very true. I just get lost in this series, and let my heart be filled. I love all the couples, guys and their girls. All of our favorite characters from previous books, and some new favorites, like the teenagers at the coffee shop, I laughed so hard at their antics. An epilogue with multiple timelines that I absolutely swooned and melted over, and a hea.

ARC copy received via Netgalley and I happily give my honest opinion. Jade moves to town to be near her best friend who is like a sister to her after her life implodes and now she needs a new start. Maverick has watched his friends find love and he doesn’t ever expect to find this himself. He rescues Jade when she is caught in a snow storm he sees what an amazing woman she is and even when he realises she could be the woman to knock down his walls he tries to stay away but can’t. Everything seems to be going really well but then Maverick makes a confession that leaves Jade heartbroken. It takes losing her for him to see what he really wants. I loved how sweet this was, with just enough heat and a little surprise at the end.

A sweet small town romance!
This was a quick and easy read that details Maverick's story. I feel like the other books of this series where Maverick was introduced, painted him ad having a bit of mysterious past as he was more quiet and broody. Reading through this book, it didn’t live up to the hype for me. When Maverick meets Jade, they almost immediately have a connection and begin a relationship. From there, I didn’t feel like Mavericks past was developed enough to truly believe that was a valid or legitimate reason to end a relationship.
I’m really glad I read Mavericks story, but it wasn’t my favorite of the series.

This was a very quick and cute novel.

Well written, likable characters, a lot of LOL-moments and, let's not forget, a lot of steamy attraction.

This is the third novel in the series called "Adventures in love" - I have not read the first two, and I had no problem following the story. (But I will go looking for the first two books, just because I want more...!)

The only somewhat negative thing is the story at times felt a bit rushed... It was hard to figure out how much time had passed between each chapter... (Sometimes the next chapter picked up just after the previous chapter - other times several months had passed, which led to some confusion).

I didn't realize this was a book in a series until I had already started it. Honestly, you can absolutely read this as a stand alone. I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything not having read the first two books- but I do want to go back and read them now!!!

Reckless is a fast-paced steamy romance about finding love when you aren’t looking. After Jade’s heart is broken and she loses everything she has been working for, she loads her car up and moves to be near her best friend. When a blizzard hits, her best friend sends her husband’s friend Maverick to the rescue.

Aurora Rose Reynolds is known for her alpha male leads, something that I felt the other male leads from this series lacked, but boy did Maverick make up for it. I loved every minute of his bossiness. From the minute he shows up at Jade’s car window he takes charge and the chemistry between the two is ignited.

Both Maverick and Jade have trust issues which lead to a little bit of hesitation along the way. When the two were together they had a hard time resisting each other. I loved seeing Maverick fall for Jade and change his way of thinking.

Expect insta-love, laughs, steam, close friendships, and an over-the-top bossy male lead, all key elements that made this a light, fun, and quick read that captured my attention and kept it until the end. I had a hard time putting the book down.

Reckless is the 3rd book in the interconnected Adventures of Love Series. Both Jade and Maverick were introduced in the first book and more of Maverick in the second book. Reckless is a standalone and can be read without reading the previous books. Characters from the previous books have recurring scenes throughout. There were times when backstories were repeated in other scenes, but it didn't take away from the story. This is a tight group of friends who can bring on the shenanigans with some fun banter.

Reckless is a sweet read. You have Jade who is a has had a tough go on relationships and a little down on her luck. I love her spunk so much. She fits right in with everyone and the small-town living. Maverick is a sweetheart even in his no relationship ways. You feel the pull from the very beginning between Maverick and Jade. I love the fight that Maverick tries to do when it comes to Jade. There are plenty of heartwarming moments to go along with that little bit denial too. I really loved that this one pulled away from the adventure business and more of the small-town living. Maverick and Jade are just amazing. I really enjoyed this one so much. I loved all the Adventures in Love books and if you haven't read them yet you need to.

Emotional and compelling, Reckless is a true romantic delight! The chemistry between Maverick and Jade is so pure and I adored the authenticity of their relationship. I found Jade especially relatable, which connected me to the story even more. Overall, a wonderful story that I highly recommend!

I love a good small town romance!! This book had me so involved with the characters that I caught myself physically shaking my head and rolling my eyes and smiling. Great writing, this is my first by this author but I’ll definitely be reading more in the near future!

An other pefect cozy read!

"Reckless" is the third and last book of the Adventures in Love Series by Aurora Rose Reynolds. You can read the book without reading the first and second book first, but I recommend that you read the sequel before the last.

I'm a little sad that "Reckless" is the last book in the series and we already have to say goodbye to Jade, Maverick, Cybill and the others. "Reckless" is a small town romance with a great atmosphere. If you are looking for a story full of drama, you won't find it here. Jade and Maverick's story is a quiet and sweet story with no drama.

Maverick and Jade are a really good match for each other! Maverick, as you would expect from an Aurora Rose Reynolds hero, has slight alpha tendencies and I love how he treats her. Maverick had a bad childhood and was practically raised by his sister. He is friendly and very charismatic. I really like his whole personality!

I love what Jade has done with her new beginning. She has built something new for herself and has come out of her shell a bit, even if she is more of a couch potato like me!

From me "Reckless" gets 4 out of 5 stars.

Reckless is the third book in the Adventures in Love Series by Ms. Reynolds and can be read as a complete standalone, but FYI, the characters from the previous books make appearances. You can absolutely read it without having read the other books but in my opinion, it's more enjoyable if you've read them. That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed revisiting Big Sky Country in Montana! Ms. Reynolds' illustrative and vivid descriptions come to life in all these books. There is a bit of insta-love when Jade meets Maverick on both sides so I was a bit confused why both of them were so skittish and walled themselves off from going all in with each other. Once Maverick decided his connection with Jade was the real deal, he was all in and I loved that about him! I loved spending time with these couples because they were all easy breezy, fun-loving relationships with very little angst and I find that to be quite delightful and pleasant these days. I’m very grateful to have been given the opportunity to read an early copy of this book for NetGalley for my honest opinion.

4.5 Stars!

I absolutely adored this book! After just coming off a reading a really heavy read, I was looking for something light and filled with romance, and Reckless was just what the doctor ordered.

When we first meet up with Jade, Jade is fresh off a disastrous relationship and has found herself homeless and without a job. She’s headed to Montana looking for a fresh start. But what she didn’t plan on was Maverick. Despite the obvious chemistry between the two of them, Jade has convinced herself that they could only be friends. But the more time they spend with one another, the more Jade questions herself. Will Jade and Maverick take a chance on love or are they destined to remain friends? There’s only one way to find out…

Reckless is a fast-paced second-chance romance filled with the insta-love/instant chemistry that we’ve come to know and love from this author. This story is filled with depth, angst, and uncertainty. The characters are perfectly imperfect and deserved not just a second chance in life, but in love as well.

I loved the angst and uncertainty. Jade was looking for a fresh start and men were nowhere on her radar, but Maverick was a force to be reckoned with. Their chemistry was instant and despite their better judgment, neither character was about to let what was happening with them pass by. I just loved watching these two characters fall.

If I had one complaint, it would be that the ending felt a bit rushed. While I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome of this story, I just felt like with all of the angst and heartache, we could have seen Maverick grovel just a little bit more.

Reckless is a fantastic small-town, second-chance romance. I loved the characters and the secondary ones as well. I loved how accepting everyone was of Jade and how willing they were to help her. Jade and Maverick’s story gave me all the feels and delivered delicious angst and romance, but kept the drama on the light side. Ultimately, this was a great book to spend my day getting lost in.

My friends let me start off by saying that I have a lot of books to review, a lot, and you will see this sentence at the top of a lot of them till I catch up, so if you tend to read any of my reviews you will notice it has been quite a while since I have written one, let's just say lots has happened. So, let's begin.

The title says Reckless and the only way that I can see that is that Jade used to be reckless with her previous relationship, when she used to stay with her dead-beat ex, and pay his ways, but once she got of him, that was done for. Maverick was a little gun shy but once he got over it they had a great relationship or instalove, like the previous couples.

This series has been such a delight to read and Reckless was no exception. While I don’t always love fast-paced romances, it was impossible not to love the way Maverick and Jade sort of fell together so effortlessly.

I loved Maverick’s alpha protective tendencies and the way that, once he decided to go “all-in”, he went all the way in and swept Jade (and basically me) off her feet. I loved Jade for him. I loved Jade, period. I loved how relatable and strong she was and how sort of…functional their whole relationship was. It was relatively low-angst, but riddled with chemistry and banter that had my heart aflutter for nearly the entire story.

This has been such a fun ride, and this was the perfect, satisfying ending to this series. This was the first I’ve ever read by this author, but I’ll be handing my heart over for more in the future!

I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review.

I haven't read any books by Aurora Rose Reynolds in years so when I saw this one was available on NetGalley I figured, let's go for it. This one was just alright for me. Maybe it was because it's the third book in a series and I haven't read any of the previous books.

Jade is new in town after her life implodes with a failed business and relationship. Jade knows Maverick through their best friends and he rescues her from a bad snow storm. They are attracted to each other but it's not instalove. I never really got why they fall in love with each other? Not much happened in the book and I didn't get why they fell in love. Both characters felt surface level. The rest of the story was just meh and the conflict at the end was practically nonexistent and wrapped up really quickly.
This just wasn't the book for me.

Beautiful add on to the series....

Jade and Maverick - perfect for each other... All the others characters from the previous books - wow....

This was a very well written and neatly tied up book.

Not sure if this is the final book in the series but this author is a definite go to for me (a big fan of her Until series 🤩🤩).

Note: Received an ARC in exchange of honest review.

This book follows Jade as she navigates to being betrayed by her boyfriend and losing her business. She relocates to Montana where her best friend has settled into wedded bliss. On her first night there, in a snowstorm, she meets Maverick, who rescues her. It is attraction at first sight, but both fight the feelings for quite some time due to their individual histories. Ms. Reynolds does a good job telling this story. In many ways it is a slow burn, although they do give into their lust fairly quickly. They do, however, take the slow route to developing deeper feelings. I really enjoyed this book and the epilogue was unique and one of my favorite epilogues ever. Really enjoyed this. Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy.

Reckless (Adventures in Love #3) by Aurora Rose Reynolds is a contemporary small-town romance told in first person, dual POV with most of the story from the female main character’s perspective. Although it's the third book in the Adventures in Love series, it can be read as a standalone. Reckless follows the relationship between acquaintances Jade and Maverick after he rescues her from a blizzard during her move from Oregon to Montana.

I enjoyed Jade and Maverick’s story. As characters, I liked them both very much but also wished there were more chapters from Maverick’s perspective. This was a low-angst story that verged on instalove (my least favorite trope) but I don’t quite put it in that category because Jade and Maverick sort of knew each other through friends before the blizzard brought them together. Even though their attraction was immediate, and the relationship developed fast, it didn’t feel like instalove to me—which is a good thing. The title didn’t seem to fit the book, which overall was a happy, feel-good story. Recommended for anybody looking for a low-stakes, warm and cozy, quick romance.
