Marnie is the owner of Wish & Company, a gift buying service with high dollar clients - some with complicated gift recipients. Her greatest wish is to buy her Grandfather's historic building for her thriving business. Unfortunately it is going to auction and she will be up against prospective buyers with much deeper pockets.
As usual, nothing comes easy for Marnie. Distracted by an old friend (with benefits) and the opportunity to see the building Marnie does the unthinkable.
As a fortieth anniversary is being celebrated, the wife clearly opens a gift meant for a mistress!
A separation follows, the angry client blames her and threatens her business.
What can Marnie do to save the marriage, her business and the chance to own a legacy building.
Lots of good friends, a possible love relationship, a secret from the past, deciding what is more important in life and coming to terms with past family angst bring us full circle in this cozy romantic story.
Quick read, definitely worth reading!

Minnie Darke's With Love from Wish & Co. follows Marnie Fairchild as she navigates the world of the wealthy and their secrets. She's a personal shopper (and TBH that's a job I would love to have somewhere in the multiverse). This book is about more than gifts and fancy things, however. It's about the complexities of human relationships.
Things start to fall apart when two boxes become mixed up and are delivered to the wrong recipients - leading to the unraveling of a web of secrets and lies.
The book is a mix of light and dark wrapped in a bow of humor.
Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for sharing this book with me. All thoughts are my own.

This story was a light-hearted romance with some good depth to it. Marnie is a gift buyer for those who don't have time to buy gifts for their loved ones themselves. She dreams of moving her shop to the historic storefront that was previously owned by her grandfather. A mix up of gifts for a wealthy client causes gifts for a wife and a mistress to be swapped. To top it all off, Marnie meets Luke, the son of the man who bought those gifts. This was one of those books that had me smiling throughout. This book alternates between the perspective of several characters, in addition to Marnie. I liked that all the protagonists had POVs and thought that added to the reading experience. This book has a lot of heart and I really liked how all the characters were developed throughout. Overall, this was a light hearted read and I would certainly recommend it.

This was a light-hearted, quick read! Not super deep, but that is preferred at this time of year when life is chaos. I didn't connect with any of the characters, and I wished there would have been a bit more character development throughout the book, but I still enjoyed it.

Even though the story started off slow, once the story got going I throughly enjoyed myself. Marnie trying to fix all her mistakes while at the same time juggle a secret relationship with Luke, had me cracking up and even though the ending was a little predictable I still ended the story with a smile on my face.

This was such an adorable story about a classic mix up and all the chaos that ensues afterwards. I loved this sweet, easy-going read and could not put it down. Thank you to NetGalley, Random House, and Ballentine Books for a copy of this book for an honest review.

Sometimes you really need a light-hearted novel to lift your spirits. With Love from Wish & Co is just such a book. Filled with quirky characters that will draw you in, this is a book that you will love so much you'll want to read it again and again.

I'm glad I finally made time to read this one. A funny story of what happens when a gift shop owner mixes up a gift for the wife and the lover.. Loved the character of the owner of Wish & Co. An enjoyable read

Minnie Darke's With Love from Wish & Co, was a fun, quick, and light-hearted read. Perfect for curling up outside in the sun and enjoying the last few moments of warmth. Marnie Fairchild has a knack for picking out the perfect gift, and this is why her business; Wish & Co. is so successful. That is until she mixes up a gift for a clients wife and his mistress. The story is told from a few different view points, it is sprinkled with humor, and some romance too.
Thank you to the author and Random House for the advanced reader copy. .

This book was a cute read with an ending that I knew was going to be happy. I enjoyed the development of the relationships, and Marnie’s career of choice was interesting and unique. I recommend for those looking for a feel good read!

I think I'm rounding up from 2.5 stars on this one. I didn't love it. So much of it just felt pretentious to me, especially when the ethics of Marnie's gift giving business was discussed. So many of those conversations were with her love interest, Luke. Weirdly enough, Luke had is own side story and I was SOOO much more intrigued by the storyline than the main story. If I could have more Luke and Ivy, the stars given would have been higher.

I loved this book! Super cute :-)
This was a very charming romance novel about a boutique shop owner and professional gift shopper, Marnie. After a snafu with her top customer, she has to navigate making things right with him and also - secretly - dating his son. At the same time, she’s trying to buy a new property for her store and struggling to balance it all. This was an easy and pleasant read, would recommend!

This was my first book by Minnie Darke and I was pleasantly surprised. While the first half of the book moved a little too slowly for me, the second half kept me fully engaged and I was rooting for a happy ending!
I would recommend this to any reader who is a fan of the romcom genre and doesn’t mind a slow pace with a pay off in the end.
Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group for a free copy of the digital ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Perfect for those who love Hallmark holidays in book form but with a bit more drama. I really liked Marnie's character and her growth in the book was exciting to see. This book gives you a mix of messy characters that are both loveable and selfish, which added depth to the storyline. I didn't find this one to be nearly as holiday as other books so if you don't want a full-blown Christmas story, this book would be the perfect read for you. The unique storyline of gift giving made this one a bit different that other books out there.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for giving me an e-ARC of this book in return for an honest review.
In this story you follow Marnie along her journey of owning the shop that belonged to her granddad for her gift purchasing store. After an unfortunate mix up Marnie must decide what the right thing to do is. However, along the way she meets a guy who questions what the right thing is and must decide what is more important to her. The guy or the dream of owning her granddad’s old shop. Overall, this was a lighthearted, lovely story. It was a bit predictable and could be seen coming from early on in the story. If you’re looking for a quick, easy read, this could be a story for you.

I enjoyed this read and almost read it twice it was that good for me. I forgot I read it and picked it up again and thought this sounds like a good story. Start reading it and it sounds familiar. Skim through it and sure enough I have already read it. Thank you MInnie Darke for writing such a good story I almost read it twice.

Two of Marnie’s gifts from her gift buying service got mixed up. This was at the worst possible situation and they were from an important client. I loved the characters and their interactions! The story depicts a wide range of emotions of its characters in an enjoyable way that was hard to put down.

Complications abound in this fun and witty story. Loved the horrible mix up aspect of it, as that trope is always a fun one to see how it'll all work out!

This was the perfect romcom read. Light hearted with a heavy topic. Funny, sweet. Underwhelming. I would recommend it!
