This was such a nice warm read. A couple of pages in, I wasn’t sure I was going to like it but after a few chapters in, I started liking the story. The gift mixed up at the anniversary dinner did it! Enjoyed most of the characters, I also loved the writing. Overall, this was a good read!

Thank you Netgalley for this ARC for an exchange for an honest review.
Very good book, kept me interested all the way to the end.

Unfortunately couldn’t get into this one, after multiple attempts at starting over.
Characters weren’t memorable nor was the plot.
However, the cover was cute and enticing.

This was a fast and enjoyable read. It is a romance novel through and through for those who love that genre.
The story is that of Marnie Fairchild and the Charlesworth family. Marnie runs a gift buying and wrapping service. Those who wish can allow her to handle their "portfolio" of loved ones and their occasions. Brian Charlesworth is one of her best customers. Their is a mix up with gift delivery with some disasterous results and the story ensues.
The prose of this book was so engaging I flew through the pages. I really enjoyed the author(s) writing style.
I found the premise of Marnie's business and the details of its operation fascinating. It led me to google gift buying services and I was surprised by how much was out there. This book may be a boon to them!
In the end however things felt a little bit too pat and predictable. I found myself annoyed on some level with most of the characters (maybe that makes them more like real human beings).
Thanks to Net Galley and Doubleday for the ARC to preview and give a honest review. This is a great addition to the romance genre - light and entertaining. The cover is amazing!

With Love from Wish & Co. was one of those books that was Book-Candy for me. Marnie Fairchild is a be-spoke gift buying genius that has a host of wealthy clients who want Marnie to buy their one-of-a-kind special gifts to their loved ones, wives, children, grandchildren, and well, mistresses. When a distracted Marnie makes a mistake, Mistress got the Wifes gift and vice versa, havoc ensues. Marnie must rectify this horrible gaffe,
As I said, this book was pure book candy. Every character, even Brian was trying hard to live their best lives and fix mistakes that were made. I found the characters to be likable and extremely delightful. Luke, Brian’s son seemed to be a perfect romantic interest for Marnie, but can Marnie live up to his standards? We meet Ivy, Brians’s teenage, spunky daughter, who he just recently met. Leona the mistress had an interesting backstory as did Suzanne the wife.
This was a fun fast read for me. For readers who enjoy a book with a bit of romance, redemption, and a feel-good story then this book is for you.

First of all thank you Random House Publishing Group -Ballantine & NetGalley for this advanced reading copy in exchange or an honest review.
This was the first real romance ARC I've had a chance to review. I chose it because of the really adorable cover and I was intrigued by the synopsis. It had it all when it came to romance, infidelity, imperfect families and secrets between loved ones. Marnie, who owns a gift giving shop, is immediately lovable & she's relatable. You learn that she is desperately trying to purchase her family shop and has been doing almost anything in her means financially to get it. And then, she mixes up gifts between a wife and a mistress.
Enter Suzanne and Brian--You really do feel for Suzanne and what she's going through with the gift mix up. You feel Suzanne's pain and her confusion when it comes to figuring out if she will ultimately forgive him.
Then there's Luke. I think Luke and Marnie were a perfect couple lead in this romance. Marnie explaining her gift giving process to Luke was fascinating and really does prove that it's the THOUGHT that counts. I thought their whole relationship was whimsical and light and wonderful. I think it really did show how everyone can make mistakes and we are all imperfect, and you can still come back from all of that.
The author included cute recipes and a photo of the building in Australia the book was based off of adding really charming touches. The only downside for me was I think that it ran a little long in places.
My review will be posted on my instagram @bookswithbrielle in May.

This book was well written and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was cute and a quick read. The characters in the story are are loveable and the plot was interesting.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for providing me with and advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

With Love From Wish & Co. by Minnie Drake is a contemporary romance book about a professional gift buyer, who accidentally swaps the gifts for one of her main client’s wife & mistress & obvious chaos ensues in all of their lives. It reminds me of an ensemble romance movie with its’ multiple interwoven stories, which I enjoyed. Life can be messy. There’s secrets, love, judgement, discovery & reconciliation all wrapped in one book.
I love giving gifts & trying to find someone the perfect present & then attempting tk wrap gifts in creative ways. One of the main characters, Marnie, gets to do that for a living & I was so fortunate enough to be pre-approved to read this! I am so grateful for that, thank you!
In the first half of the book, I struggled to relate to the characters & their problems. I think if you’re going into this book knowing & wanting it to be a very light read, it will be enjoyable. I’m going through a lot of extremely difficult things in my own personal life & so I don’t think I was in the right space to appreciate this for what it is. But I will say I did enjoy the second half of the book. Luke & Ivy brought me into the story when I was starting to get checked out & slowly but surely reeled me in to care about everything.
If you are in the mood for a light, but complicated, ensemble romance about the messiness of love, the importance of family, the necessity of passion & the learning from mistakes, I would check out With Love From Wish & Co. by Minnie Drake!
With Love From Wish & Co. comes out August 16, 2022!
Massive thanks to NetGalley & Random House Publishing Group- Ballantine for giving me the opportunity to read an arc of this in exchange for an honest review.
Trigger warnings: This book mentions &/or contains cheating, abortion & misogyny.
I will post to my Bookstagram as it gets closer to release & post to Amazon after publication. I will add my links once I have posted!

What a charming story this is! The characters are so believable, and I loved them all, especially Marnie, Luke, Suzanne, and Ivy. The writing reminds me somewhat of Alexander McCall Smith's in the Isabel Dalhousie series. It's never too heavy on the angst but is nonetheless touching and emotional, and the gentle humor shines through the characters, who each have their flaws and foibles. The settings in the story were also well-depicted and enhanced the enjoyment of the novel. I'll definitely look for more books from this author!

I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet, heartwarming, quick read. It was exactly what I was hoping for when I read the description. I will be looking up more titles to read by author Minnie Darke.
Thank you to Netgalley, the publishers and the author for the opportunity to read this ARC.

A life changing mix up that plays havoc with clients lives and leads the way to what is truly important to those same individuals. I enjoyed this book and Marnie and Luke’s path to their own important personal stories. This story has its ups and downs but all works out. Enjoyed this very much, a definite addition to your TBR list and a great vacation read.

Minnie Darke’s romance novel, WITH LOVE FROM WISH & CO., is about Marnie Fairchild, a young shop owner providing high-end personalized gift giving service who desperately wants to buy and move her business to her grandfather’s historic shop. Romance is not my favorite genre, but I did enjoy this story and the way everything came together for a happy ending. There was a lot to like -- the well developed main characters, interesting supporting cast, good dialogue, and plenty of family drama. However, I would have liked this novel even more if some of the sex in the second half was left out. Although not crudely described, the amount of sex was not necessary and took away from the story.

This was a really interesting book with some actual thought-provoking topics. Marnie runs a gift-buying service for her clients, gathering personal information and purchasing the perfect gift for any occasion on behalf of the client. She's so good that most people don't even know she exists. That is until she sends the wrong gift at the perfectly wrong time. Suddenly everything Marnie has worked for is on the line.
I thought the romance storyline was okay but enjoyed it more for the challenging topics that it forced Marnie to face in growing her business and determining which paths in life she wants to take.

Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine, Dell for providing me with an e-arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you NetGalley, Penguin and Minie Darke for this heartwarming, funny and whimsical read. I loved the characters so much and only wanted what was best for them through the book. The book was a good light weekend read. I think anything by Minnie will make the top of my TBR. Thank you again!

I very rarely read romance novels as HF is my typical genre. Yet, every once and a while I need "light" reading and "With Love from Wish & Co." filled the bill, it was enjoyable from start to finish. While I've never read anything written by the author, I will look for her books again. My thanks to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Adorable concept, but just couldn't imagine myself being able to fall for the romance in a book the begins with infidelity and friends with benefits. Total turn off.
Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC for an honest review.

This book was a great mix of cute and sweet and genuine. Infidelity was a large subplot; which is an ick for me personally - but coming to terms with how to balance an independent business and personal beliefs was a major component for Marnie as well - especially when she’s forced to see her clients not only as the people she’s made them to be in her head but as the people they are in real life.

This is the definition of a quick fun read. The characters were cute, the story was cute, everything was cute. There wasn’t too much to the story but sometimes that is exactly what I need. I loved the premise and would reread when feeling anxious!

First of all, there are definitely times when I could have put good use to someone who could pick out the perfect gift for me to give! Giving gifts is my daughter's love language, and so I struggle to give *her* something that she will really love (since they aren't really my love language.)
Anyway, I digress.
With Love from Wish & Co was just a fun read. Enjoyable, well written and light. Kind of perfect for a summer read, with a bow on top!
Thank you for Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review Minnie Darke's book. I appreciate the opportunity!

Marnie Fairchild owns a business finding the perfect gift for her client’s recipients. She’s doing very well until she screws up with her biggest client, Brian,, sending his mistresses gift to his wife. Marnie’s anxious to make amends to keep his business so she can buy a family building going up for auction. She meets and falls in love with Brian’s son Luke knowing he’s not fully on board with what she does. How then can she tell him she’s still buying gifts for her father?
Wonderfully real characters in realistic situations, interesting plot and subplots make this a romance novel that’s a cut above the rest.
