Ohhh these just get better and better. Delilah has made it her mission to search out and find missing people. Her and her team are focused on a missing woman who the public believe her boyfriend killed. Archer has money, lots of money. He could have easily killed his girlfriend and covered it up. But no one believes him when he says he didn’t do it. The lovely Delilah comes into his life. Can she play prove it, or will it get em killed.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own

Romantic suspense at its finest! Delilah goes undercover to find out if billionaire Archer murdered his fiancee . Delilah likes to solve cold cases bringing criminals to the justice they deserve but have evaded. Archer claims he's innocent but he'll have to prove it to her. Suspense, twists and turns, romance, witty banter, and great characters make this a great read!

This is the first book in an exciting new series about the Ice Breakers, a team of civilians who break cold cases. Any of you true crime and cold case enthusiasts…this one is for you!

Delilah Darrow is part of a group of civilians who solve cold cases. She finds the missing. They might all be civilians, but they all bring special skills to the table. Delilah spent a couple of years learning the P.I. and bounty hunter business. She’s the one who is going to expose Archer Radcliffe. Or exonerate him. She doesn’t really care as long as she can find his missing ex. So she learns everything she can about Archer, she finds the right place, the right time, and she dresses the part. Now all that’s left is to catch his attention.

Archer was attending an auction, and he wanted a certain necklace back. It had belonged to his family once, and he was going to buy it back. The beautiful woman bidding against him had taunted him, she had driven the price up, and she had piqued his interest. She wanted his attention, she got it. But he was a dangerous man with a dangerous reputation. She had better be prepared for what she asked for, because she was gonna get it.

When Delilah got close to Archer, she learned that the controlled ice man wasn’t so controlled. At least, not around her. And she kind of liked him that way. Archer out of control for her, was what she wanted most.

But someone didn’t want him getting close to her. And that someone was doing everything they could to hurt Archer, even if that meant hurting Delilah. What would happen if they got close to finding out who the culprit was? Would they up their game? Or would they show themselves? Delilah didn’t know, but Archer wasn’t going to find out. He wanted Delilah as far from harm as he could get. But she’s not letting him go that easily.

The two of them make a great team, and I like not only this new series, but the nod to Ms. Eden’s Wilde Ways series. Another fantastic Romantic Suspense by Cynthia Eden, Frozen In Ice kicks of what looks to be an exciting new series.

FROZEN IN ICE is the first book in Cynthia Eden’s Ice Breaker Cold Case series. When I first saw the cover for FROZEN IN ICE I thought – wow! The story definitely lived up to the cover. I’m a huge Cynthia Eden fan, but this is a new favorite for sure. Cynthia Eden sets the tone right from the beginning. The story opens with Delilah “Lila” Darrow and billionaire Archer Radcliffe all dressed up and playing a sexually charged game of cat-and-mouse with each other. Lila is looking at Archer as a predator that she wants to make her prey, and Archer is captivated by Lila. The reader, and Archer, quickly learns who Lila really is and what her true purpose in pursuing Archer is. Lila is a reporter part of an online group that investigates cold cases with hopes of recovering missing people. They’ve set their sights on Archer because he is the prime suspect in the disappearance of his ex-girlfriend.

Lila’s group the “Ice Breakers” is reminiscent of the professional group in Cynthia Eden’s (also fabulous) romantic suspense L.O.S.T. series. The Ice Breakers solve cold cases – specifically ones in which somebody has disappeared. I would love to see a potential crossover in a future book. There’s oodles of sexual tension as these two people alternately try to fight their obvious attraction, and deliciously give in to it. There’s also a push-and-pull as Lila goes back and forth evaluating how much she believes Archer. I actually think Lila is quicker to trust Archer than Archer is to believe that Lila trusts him. Because FROZEN IN ICE is told from alternating perspectives, the reader gets a little more insight into the two main characters and their motives, but there is still that glimmer of doubt. It’s fascinating to see how both Delilah and Archer have lost someone, but how differently they dealt with being left behind and solving their respective mysteries. Cynthia Eden is such a phenomenal storyteller. There were moments that I kept drawing comparisons in my mind to Daphne du Maurier’s classic gothic novel REBECCA. I kept wondering what the true relationship between Archer and his former fiance was like before he revealed all to Delilah. Cynthia Eden always keeps you guessing. I love how Delilah is caring, yet smart and savvy at the same time. She knocks Archer off balance, and her resourcefulness and drive act like a beacon for him.

FROZEN IN ICE starts out dazzling the reader with elegance and sex appeal and evolves into a taut thriller and compelling love story. Whether you normally enjoy romantic suspense or not, I wholeheartedly recommend reading FROZEN IN ICE. I look forward to Cynthia Eden’s next book.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book to leave an honest review. I have read many of Cynthia Eden's works and find them all to be very enjoyable. I wasn't sure what to expect from this new spinoff series but so far the first book has been great!

This book follows Archer and Delilah. Delilah is a crime/investigative reporter who works with an online group of people that work to solve cold cases. Archer is the latest suspect in a 2 year old case to find a missing woman who was his fiancée. Archer comes across as cold and heartless to everyone, a ruthless business man. Delilah is able to slip past his defenses pretty quickly and find the real man beneath. She starts to believe he is innocent and once Archer has her on his side, he finds that clearing his name might just be possible. That is until someone starts to target Delilah for which that Archer cannot stand.

Lots of twists and turns. Great plot line and loved some of the secondary characters. I would definitely recommend this book if you like a good romantic suspense.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

Wow, I could not put this book down! It was just spellbinding as I watched Lila try to solve the disappearance of Vanessa. She started off trying to get Archer's attention and she did a good job. At the start, they both were using the other for their own purposes and this was not a secret.

I do have to admit that I fell for one of the red herrings and did not see the true villain until almost the end of the book. Lila was correct - you cannot trust anyone!

This book was packed with action, suspense, drama, and lots of sizzling romance between Archer and Lila. Towards the end, we get to meet Lila's :brother" who helps out and will be starring in the next book in this series.

Can't wait for the next one!

Frozen In Ice in the first in a new thrilling Ice Breakers Series by Cynthia Eden. I will admit that the descriptive reminded me of a previous book Don't Trust A Killer by this author. But you can rest assure that this is a new book with a marvelous plot that will keep you reading late into the night. At least it did for me.

Delilah “Lila” Darrow works with a team that takes on cold cases to solve. A missing woman, a rich boyfriend and lots of arrows that points to him having killed her are what brings Lila to the world of Archer Radcliffe. Such an intriguing first meeting then even more so when he shows up at her place trying to get her to work with him to prove his innocence.

A sexy whodunit with the suspect out to clear his name and get revenge on the guilty party. Or is he the murderer who is trying to put up a smoke screen. I tried to go in with an open mind that Archer Radcliffe could actually be guilty but it wasn’t long before I decided I may not know who did it, I did know one who did not. Sexy, funny at times, heart stopping suspenseful at others, always a great read.

The publisher through Net Galley provided a digital ARC. I have voluntarily decided to read and review, giving my personal opinions and thoughts.

Wow, just wow! Archer doesn't trust anyone. After reading this book I'd say he was right not to. All is not what it seems in, Frozen in Ice. I loved reading it so much! The fact that Delilah is the first one to earn Archer's trust is telling. I couldn't help falling in love with them.

The story…the characters…the sarcastic & sensual dialog – loved it! Delilah “Lila” Darrow works with a team to find missing persons. Her “calling” is dear to her heart as her sister has been missing for the past five years. She and her team are investigating the case of a missing woman, Vanessa, and it is believed that wealthy Archer Radcliffe may be responsible. He had dated her, but has denied any involvement in her disappearance. Lila’s first meeting with Archer is amazing as she surprises him at every turn. He has never met a woman quite like Lila and he is enchanted by her wit, her strength and beauty. Someone does not want him to “love” and this person may be responsible for Vanessa’s disappearance. Lila slowly finds herself attracted to Archer, the man, and begins to believe in him. She and Archer agree to work together, posing as a couple to draw the killer out. What happens when they are too successful and Lila is now threatened? I can’t wait for the next book in this series! I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)

Just when I think it can’t get any better she writes a a story that totally blows you away.

Ice Breakers are a team of investors that solves Cold Cases. Delilah Darrow is part of this team and sent in to learn if Archer Radcliffe is a murderer. She is gutsy, strong and unstoppable.

“Ice breaker,” Archer breathed it like an accusation. “Here to break my world apart.”

Archer has a proportion for Lila. He’s used to getting what he wants. She’s all in.

“Your friends call you Lila, but what do your lovers call you? Because sooner or later, I will be your lover.”

I fell in love with these characters and you will to especially Memphis.

“What part of ‘follow my lead’ did you miss? Or did you just miss all of the parts?”

If you’re not careful, I’ll blink, and we’ll truly be besties.”

Funny, sexy, can’t put it down fun.

Delilah is mine, and she’s staying mine. And if anyone wants to threaten her?”

“They will have to go through me.”
