ALLLLLLL THE STARS.

This book was simply EVERYTHING!!! I’ve read my fair share of MM romances and Chloe Liese sincerely blows me away every single time. Her writing packs a huge punch with its humor, tension, and swoony-ness. And this book was just as incredible as her others!

This series is easily an all time favorite and this new installation in the series is just another PERFECT addition. Oliver has been a brother that I’ve been craving his book. And while I definitely didn’t think this is the direction it was going with the teammate age gap thing... it was even more perfect than I could’ve imagined or dreamed up for myself. Chloe Liese just knows what I want before even I do. She’s a pure genius.

This story had an incredible grumpy/sunshine trope. It had the angst and tension to blow the roof off the place. It had two incredible main characters who truly deserved each other and they had a love story that outdid itself.

This book was amazing and I loved it if you can’t tell. I definitely wanted to immediately reread after finishing. I was thiiiiiis close to... If you’re even a bit of a fan of Chloe Liese, this story will truly blow you away.

My favorite of the series so far.

I’ve had mixed thoughts about some of the previous books in this series, but I was so excited to see that this one was queer so I had to read it. I’m glad I did. This is definitely my favorite or the series and I think it had the strongest writing.

If you are looking for a queer, sports romance, I’d recommend checking this one out!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an eARC!

Another charming entry in the Bergman Brothers series! Liese’s books feel like a big warm hug. The characters are always so determined to look out for one another, to make adjustments, and overall be more accommodating. It’s a dream world to visit!! And the Ted Lasso-ification was very fun and perfectly fit for Liese’s writing. Oliver and Gavin had a great love story, although I was a little disappointed we didn’t get their first meeting and initial dynamics and immediately time jumped to an established dynamic between the two. However the relationship progression was excellent and the steam was perfect,

But for real, Viggo’s book WHEN

Where to begin with this one? I loved the whole Gorgeous Grump Kladdkaka Gavin & Sunshine Funfitti cake Oliver❤️ Chapter 19 was my absolute favorite. That entire scene gave me all the feels & it was just....perfect❤️there were many scenes that I loved, like the GG coffee scene, the airplane (holding hands), and when Oliver was taking care of Gavin (shower scene). Still, my favorite of all is the love declaration scene from chapter 19.

⚽️Everything For You⚽️ Is the 5th book in the Bergman Brothers but can be read as a standalone & it's the first book I read by Chloe Liese & I know. So why did I start with the 5th book, you may ask? Cuz I never read anything in order😅 & since I'm on mm romance binge, its a priority, not to mention perfect for🏳️‍🌈month.

I can't express how I absolutely adored everything about this book, from the song choice for each chapter to the broadway musical reference❤️ having an anxiety rep told so well, as someone with anxiety & panic attacks, I felt seen😭thank you so much for writing it.

It checked all the boxes for me.
✅Plot.
✅The characters.
✅Build-up to the story.
✅The anticipation.
✅SLOOOW-BURN (OMG, chef's kiss).
✅Enemies to lovers.
✅ Grumpy/sunshine
✅mm sports romance⚽️.
✅Sexual tension.
✅Age gap (10yrs).
✅Anxiety rep.
✅Chronic pain rep.
✅Steamy (ooof🌶)
✅HEA

I don't remember the last time a book checked all the boxes & more (like how is that even possible🤯?) Chloe Liese just brought the magic into this one💖it's filled with laughter & full of emotion (I teared up at Gavin's chronic pain struggle). It's a heartfelt wholesome story. I truly recommend it if you love all the ✅ checked boxes mentioned above❤️

Altho Gavin & Oliver's Story ended, I look forward to catching up with them in the future(🤞more queer romance in the future) & I'll be definitely checking out the previous books (Not in order, of course, lol😂)

*Thank you, Chloe Liese. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book through Netgalley.

This is my first book in the series, but I really enjoyed it and wasn't confused. I love a good rivals to lovers, and they have a lot of antagonism between them to be resolved. I like the tension and I think it really worked. I am not usually a fan of age-gap, but I think it really works as one of the sources of tension for them, and it's not about power. The age-gap creates professional jealousy, which needs to be overcome if their relationship is going to work.

i loved this but age gap romances aren't really my thing which i hadn't noticed while requesting. other then that thought this was very well done! the grumpy x sunshine trope is one of my favorites so that was very fun to read about.

age gap turned me off a lot but i liked the writing style. also liked that it dealt with topics like anxiety and chronic illness.

I discovered the Bergman Brothers series last year and fell in love with Chloe Liese’s writing from the first page on. I adored all books in the series so far, and Everything for You was no exception.

So, we’re finally getting Oliver’s story. He’s on the same soccer team as Gavin, a veteran player whose end of his career is fast approaching. Gavin is the captain of the team, but Oliver gets asked to become co-captain and much to Gavin’s chagrin he accepts.
Gavin is a rather grumpy person, and he simply can’t stand Oliver’s happy attitude. Of course they go from enemies to friends to lovers and I loved every minute of it.

I can’t recommend this book (and the whole series) enough.

Oliver and Gavin were fantastic. Their grumpy/sunny nature was so much fun to read. I appreciate how she talks about disability awareness and the characters' issues in this book. I also really like the Bergman family. They are great. Can't wait for Chloe's next book!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with this arc in exchange for an honest review.

I have really mixed thoughts on this one. I love love love Chloe's writing, and this book was no exception, I did still enjoy it. But I do think it's my least favourite in this series and didn't work as well as the others for me.

A lot of this was because I felt like we just didn't really get to see Ollie and Gavin get to know each other or work through their issues, a lot of this happened off page, and so I struggled to connect to them. Not to mention, they kept going over and over the same issue, which made the pacing feel like it was dragging a bit.

I also didn't like the abundance of weddings in the story, it was all too much too close together and too cliche - it felt a bit like a let down. I think I get frustrated when romance series' end with all the couples married and with kids straight away, and it started to feel a little bit too close to that.

This one just didn't feel as authentic to me as the other books in the series, the characters and romance weren't as fleshed out and it just wasn't the level I have come to expect from Chloe. That's not at all to say it was bad, because it wasn't by any means - the characters were likeable, the story was relatable (and some parts hit way too close to home when it came to sporting careers and injuries), and I enjoyed the read. I just wanted more, having read the previous books in the series.

Having said all that, this is still one of my favourite series of all time, I would definitely re-read this, and I am SO looking forward for the rest of the books in the series, particularly Ziggy's - a redheaded autistic obsessed with sports and fantasy villain romances? It's literally me.

To me, Chloe Liese is an absolute gem and her stories are a must read. This is a slow burn, sunshine/grump story about Gavin and Oliver. Their growth throughout the story leads excellent character growth and a beautifully written story.

There is some lovely tension. Seriously, give me an 'only one bed' trope and I'm a goner. 🔥

As always, this is a standalone but you should read the whole series.

Omg!! I love Chloe liese’s books. The Bergman series have taken over my life and I am so thankful I got to read Oliver’s story early. Everything For You is a MLM book that centers around Oliver Bergman. Oliver is a sunshine/golden retriever of a man and I don’t know if it possible to not love him. Gavin Hayes is the personification of old grump/Ted lasso in this story and he is absolutely perfect for Oliver. I gave 5 stars to this beautiful story that has ….

Enemies-to-lovers
Sunshine/grumpy
Top tier banter
Chronic pain and anxiety representation
3 out 5 on the spice barometer!

Chloe liese has shown me personally that everyone deserves a beautiful love story and to be accepted for who you are.

Thank you to Chloe and NetGalley for the e-arc of Everything For You in exchange for my honest review!

I am a big Chloe Liese stan, but this book didn't really do it for me. I'm not sure what exactly didn't work, I just know that I was able to walk away from it and wasn't compelled to finish it in the same way I felt about the rest of the series.

That said, I think that is all largely a me as a reader problem, not a problem with the book overall.

What I loved: grumpy/sunshine, Gavin's emotional journey (honestly all the Bergman men being willing to be in touch with their feelings!!), and Oliver's disposition. As with most romances, what I really appreciated was the overall commentary Chloe had on romance and what it means to live life, and I think the commentary here - about there still being something beautiful in the unexpected - really resonated with me this time around.

I love the Bergman clan so much and loved all the side characters popping up. And I especially can't wait to read Ziggy and Viggo's books!

I've been hearing about Chloe Liese forever and I am so glad I started with Oliver's book out of all the Bergman's. Am I going to go back and read all of the books now? Of course. I really like Gavin and Oliver's story especially because they both fought it so hard. Also Gavin being the biggest softie was not something I was expecting at all. I can't wait to read more from Chloe Liese in the future!

Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for providing me with an arc for an honest review!

Forced proximity is hands down my favorite trope, but throw in some grumpy/sunshine enemies to lovers and I'm a goner!

Y'all this may be my favorite Bergman Brothers book yet, and is definitely making my favorites list this year. I loved absolutely everything about it. Sweet Oliver stole my heart, especially as we got underneath all his sunshine and peppy personality to see the insecurities and anxiety he tried to keep hidden. And then I fell even harder for grumpy Gavin who kept everyone at arm's length as he dealt with chronic pain and the potential end of his career looming ahead. These two together were absolute fireworks!

If you've loved all the Bergman Brothers books, this one should obviously already be on your radar. But if you enjoy sports romances, enemies to lovers, grumpy & sunshine, and forced proximity, you should also add this beautiful book to your TBR! All of the Bergman books can be read as standalones.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing an eARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I picked this book up on impulse because the cover looked like a queer sports romance (which it is), and that happens to be one of my all time favorite genres.

This was such a gem to find though because now I'm well on my way to being a Chloe Liese superfan. I've ordered the other four books in the series that take place before this one (they all stand on their own so no need to read in order if you don't want to) and I will be preordering the next ones. She writes beautiful love stories that I NEED more of. She has also confirmed that future books of hers will have main queer pairings so I'm excited to see that.

I'm not normally a fan of age-gap romances in general, but I think this was done very well. The anxiety rep was just perfect, and I related to Oliver in a lot of ways. We also see chronic pain rep through Gavin over the course of the novel.

I preordered this after reading my ARC and then immediately reread it upon getting my physical copy because this is everything I wanted!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book, which isn’t much of a surprise, since Chloe Liese never lets me down.
These characters were so fun to meet and the grumpy/sunshine trope made me love it more.

I am a huge fan of Ted Lasso, I watched the two available seasons in two days, then rewatched them again with my friend over Zoom! So, when my friend who's on twitter sent me a picture of this cover, I knew I needed this book in my hands immediately. I was so happy when I was approved for the arc, so thank you to the publisher and Chloe Liese for allowing me the honor.

My review is a little late but trust, I was simply overworked (teaching, amirite?) but I finished this before its release.

I had some mixed feelings about this book but let's start with an overview of the plot:

This contemporary romance alternates point of views between our resident sunshine prankster Oliver and our gentle grump Gavin. Oliver and Gavin are football players on the same team. Oliver comes from a big (big!) family, an aspect I wanted so desperately to enjoy seeing as I have even more siblings than dear Ol. Yet, there was this issue of familiarity that hindered my reading: having not read any of the books in this series, I was a bit lost at who was who, and honestly, I didn't have the emotional connection other readers who've read them have. I didn't care much for the characters though Vigo, Oliver's brother, stayed with me and was a huge comic relief. He's so much fun and I know I'll read his book as well.

Now, onto our second lead Gavin, who suffers from chronic pain due to his many injuries. Gavin's pain is a constant in his life, reminding him that his body is a ticking bomb that's about to implode and end his career; which is the only thing he loves and cares for seeing as he has no family and no friends. With the exception of the old men with whom he plays poker on a weekly basis. I felt for Gavin, I truly did. I saw the similarity of him and Roy (Ted Lasso) who's my absolute favorite character, by the way, and I was charmed by him. I loved that he was so stern and angry because we sure could use more angry disabled rep- they're in pain, they can be as angry as they liked.

My main issue with the book is the sort of imbalance in focus. The majority of the book highlighted Oliver and his issue with Gavin not wanting to be his friend. I was sympathetic to Gavin so I understood why he kept everyone at an arm's length, so Oliver felt a bit pushy to me. His and brothers' solutions to that was to prank Gavin, in a way to thaw the ice between them, but that felt a bit...childish to me. I thought a good sit down and a proper talk would be more mature but hey, that's just the autistic teacher in me, who has no patience for practical jokes.

Over all, I thought the book could have used more talk and less...communication issues glossed over with sexual tension. Every time I thought they'd properly talk, they end up succumbing to the sexual attraction and in a way that made things worse. (Duh, I could've told you that, my friends.) But let's blame that on age, and I'm sure this book would have been more endearing to me had I been familiar with the other books in the series; seeing as Oliver's family had a big spotlight (we attend not one but three weddings of theirs?! Wow!)

As an anxious reader, I thought the anxiety rep was nice and a good nod. The chronic pain rep was painfully real but thankfully, the book came with content warnings, which I always appreciate.

I enjoyed this book! I’ve loved all of the Bergman Brothers series, and while this one wasn’t my favourite, it was still a lot of fun. The characters felt a little flat for me, and while I loved the Ted Lasso vibes, Gavin was a little too close to Roy Kent for me and it jolted me out of the story. I wanted a bit more character development and a little more depth to the story, but if you’re looking for a quick fun romance this would be a good choice
