Listen. So far, Chloe Liese hasn’t written a novel that isn’t an automatic five stars from me. I can’t imagine a world where that’s gonna change. I’m happy to be a harsh critic when needed, but if anything each novel in this series is getting better and better. And I already loved all the previous ones. Bergman Family Forever and Always. I actually only want to read Bergman family books from now on but there are only 7 siblings and I’m getting antsy that we’re down to the last two!

Chloe Liese is brilliant at creating characters that have disabilities or struggles (in this book anxiety and chronic pain) in a way that feels SO real and relatable. The characters are so well developed, you just get such a sense of who Gavin and Oliver are as people, and exactly why they clash and eventually fall for one another. There’s never once a moment where I’m yelling at the book and questioning a character’s choices, because you feel their choices, they make sense for who they are.

I love that the Bergman family is big and supportive, and that they all value communication and emotional intelligence. The way this book reflected on how that could be intimidating for an outsider that grew up in a chaotic or traumatic household added so much depth to the Bergman relationships I’ve come to love in each novel.

There is a scene towards the end, after declarations of love, where Gavin finally broaches his upbringing and it’s one of the most beautiful scenes I’ve ever read in a romance novel. The way Gavin and Oliver both are so achingly in love with one another and they’re able to be so vulnerable, it almost hurts your chest when you read it, but it’s also the only kind of love I ever want to read on-page.

Extra points for therapy work in a main character.

I highly recommend this book and every book in this series.

I received a free copy of this e-book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

Once again, Liese has given us a love story full of heart, laughs, and real-life representation. Oliver’s anxiety and Gavin’s chronic pain add depth to a story that would otherwise be a simple rivals-to-lovers tale. Let new favorite from the Bergman Brothers series and I can’t wait for the last two siblings’ books!

I would read Chloe Liese’s grocery list and rate it 5 stars.

This book was AMAZING. UNREAL. EVERYTHING.

Oliver is the epitome of a golden retriever and ray of sunshine. Gavin is a grump. The two of them play on a soccer team together, and don’t get along (well they more just avoid each other the best they can). When their coach puts both of them as co captains, they are forced to try to put their differences aside to lead their soccer team to victory. An enemies to lovers, age-gap, opposites attract, grumpy sunshine, and neighbours book.

One bed, Uncle Oliver, each Bergman couple getting their happy ending??? 100/10

The whole Bergman family making an appearance was the absolute best thing ever. Seeing all the other couples was an amazing aspect of this book. Viggo and Oliver’s relationship and friendship was one of the best parts. The banter was unreal. The romance novel book club was such a cute part.

This was the slowest burn in the series so far and I am so excited that I got to read a ARC. I cannot wait to get a physical copy and annotate the heck out of it. ABSOLUTELY in love with this series.

Thank you NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for a honest review. All opinions are my own.

(4.5 stars, rounded up!)
I have been beyond excited to read this next installment in the Bergman Brothers series since the moment I knew it would be Oliver’s story, and boy was I not disappointed!
Oliver Bergman has it all: a loving family, a job he loves, and soccer skills that are out of this world. The one thing he doesn’t have? Camaraderie with his grumpy co-captain Gavin Hayes. After a world famous Bergman Brothers Summit (aka a meddling meeting between all of the brothers and their spouses), Oliver decides to move on from Kill-Em-With-Kindness to full blown shenanigans.
Gavin Hayes used to have it all. He was on top of the soccer world for over a decade. But like all professional athletes, he could only stay at the top for so long. His time playing professional soccer is coming to an end, and he wants nothing more than to go about business as usual. Then he is tasked with being co-captain with Oliver. Oliver reminds Gavin of everything he is losing, and it causes some animosity. But as time goes on, Gavin starts to realize that Oliver’s gain is so much more than Gavin’s own loss. Once they put some of their differences aside, the two men find themselves more similar than they ever could have imagined.

This book gave me EVERYTHING! Baby Bergmans - check! Grump x Sunshine - check! Enemies to lovers - check! ONLY ONE BED - check! As always, Chloe Liese pulls in such delicate subjects as chronic pain and anxiety disorders and manages to give them the amount of weight they deserve without making light of them.
Long live the Bergman Brothers!

I feel like I am not even sure where to begin with this absolute stunner of a romance between sunshine-y Oliver Bergman and Roy-Kent grump Gavin Hayes. Fans of Chloe’s earlier series will have (most assuredly) already fallen deeply in love with Oliver, one half of the man-cubs, and were eagerly awaiting his love story, getting a small but mighty glimpse in With You Forever.

Chloe’s writing, is so deeply beautiful, and her ability to home in on the core of her characters (while sometimes imperfectly) is what makes these love stories so moving and cozy. Family, connection, authenticity, support, love. The Bergman family is truly unmatched in the the way the love their kids, and their kids partners. Seeing the love Oliver has in the moments (big and small) made my cheeks hurt from smiling.

[And the cameo’s. Gosh darn I loved seeing how the rest of my favourites were doing. But let’s get to the good stuff: Gavin + Ollie.

This grumpy-sunshine pairing worked on so many levels, and the balance these two create both on and off the soccer pitch spoke directly to my freaking soul. Watching Oliver confront his own past to step into vulnerability, just to keep loving Gavin, even when things were challenging grabbed hold of my heart and refused to let go.

And our man Gav, oh wow did I fall so deeply in love with our guac making, anxiety soothing, grandpa supporting, Kladdkaka. He is in so much pain, physically, emotionally, mentally. Our man is SUFFERING and seeing him let Oliver in will really resonate with folks.

I think what I also just adore about Chloe’s love stories is how real and human they feel. Especially when Ollie is talking about being too hurt to read a romance, because these characters walk with you and are too intimate.

I would also be remiss if if didn’t reference the ABSOLUTE insanity of how hot the god damn sexual tension is throughout.

Look, I ,without any reservations LOVED the sh*t out of this. The tension, the romance and even the “breakup” was so beautifully, wonderfully told. The queer love and rep was really really wonderful.

The love and sensitivity in which Liese writes her characters seeps directly into your heart and stays with you LONG after you turn the last page.

Please, grab yourself a copy of Everything For You (and all the other Bergman Brother novels) wherever you get your books, May 10th 2022

Sadly this was not for me. I am obsessed with the Bergman Brother series and that will not change, but this was just a big disappoint for me...a person who does not read/enjoy fan fiction. That being said I think this book will be immensely popular AND it is clearly what the author intended given her author's note. I am a fan of Ted Lasso and this was just way too on the nose. The writing was incredible as usual for Chloe Liese (as well as the representation) and the chemistry was great, however, every time I found myself getting sucked in by a sweet moment the Roy like character would say "Oi" and I was pulled right back out. I know other people won't have the same aversion to fan fiction as myself and I imagine this will be a huge hit. I will very much be looking forward to the remaining Bergman siblings stories and will keep recommending this series to everyone!

Thank you, Chloe Liese and Netgalley for the eARC in exchange for my honest review!

This book was EVERYTHING. I love Oliver. I love Gavin. I love enemies to lovers I love the one bed trope I love the Bergmans I loved everything about this book 10 stars out of five.

I described this book to my mom as a young Ted Lasso (if he were a soccer player) falling for Roy Kent. Perfection. Plus some wonderful mental illness and chronic pain representation? Ugh, I love the Bergman Brothers books so much, they’re such a gift.

I loved seeing more of the characters from previous books that I love so much, I loved the baby I'm not going to say who baby is to make it a surprise but it made me so happy to know that they have one and that it is so perfect and cute. Ok, let's talk about this book! It was so wonderful, literally everything Chloe writes is perfect! In all her books she surpasses herself as if it were possible! I loved this relationship so much and I love how he is so grumpy and the other one is so sunshine and they complement each other so well. I loved that the book is a little bit slowburn so you get a good idea of what their relationship and their problems really are like, I loved how Gavin is so protective of my baby Oliver, and I loved how Oliver is the same when he is with Gavin and how he told him about his anxiety problems. I loved how the brothers continue to take care of each other and that viggo is still a reader (I really want the next book to be his, I will literally give my left boob, which is the best one for the next book to be his) I really loved this book completely and I am so grateful that I was able to read it before it came out! Please read it, it's wonderful!

The Bergmans are back! And they just keep getting better! This one focuses on Oliver’s story and I was so happy to finally read his as he has been a favorite character of mine!
This book was the perfect sunshine/grump and enemies to lovers, cinnamon roll hero make you swoon story! Oliver and Gavin were amazing complex characters both struggling with personal issues that try to hide with their personalities of overly happy and super grumpy! I loved watching them peel back their layers to each other to find love in the most perfect imperfect ways!
As with all the other Bergman books we get amazing updates on the other family members. This book I think provided the biggest updates on our favorite family! I loved this book so much! The way Chloe tackles such hard, sensitive and important topics is just so beautiful and the Queen took the one bed trope to a whole new level that had me squealing! Thank you NetGalley for this advance copy!

I absolutely adore the Bergman Brothers! Oliver and Gavin are the perfect grumpy sunshine read. I would like to mention this is my very first Queer novel, I wouldn’t say I avoid queer novels but I haven’t had one that made me want to read until now. I think having a background of the family dynamic and the love already in place for the characters made this read even better.
There are spicy scenes which were 🔥🔥 If you love the other brothers you will love Oliver’s story just as much!

Chloe is a writer that ensures everyone has a love story. No matter your background or diagnosis. She sheds light on many issues often not talked about. You can learn so much about other communities just by picking up her books. BRAVO Chloe! Another great read!

The Bergman Brothers series continues with Oliver, professional soccer player and amateur prankster. His sunny disposition at work is only marred by the grumpy veteran, Gavin Hayes, who seems unimpressed by Oliver in general. When their coach makes Gavin and Oliver co-captains, they'll have to set aside their differences for the sake of the team. Or maybe engage in shoving matches and an escalating prank war. But is their mutual animosity masking something else?

The Ted Lasso vibes in this book are intentional, as Liese says in the acknowledgements. Gavin has very strong Roy Kent energy (yes, please), and Oliver himself was inspired by the titular character's sunny optimism, although to me, his character is more of a cross between Ted and Jamie Tartt, the young upstart.

I enjoyed Oliver as a rambunctious teenage character in the earlier books, but I was glad that Liese employed a four-year time jump for this story. He really needed to grow up before he was ready for a relationship. It was lovely to revisit the Bergman clan and see what everyone's been up to, and I look forward to seeing Viggo and Ziggy get their own HEAs in the next two books.

Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and the author for the ARC to review.

To absolutely no one’s shock I LOVED this.

I am so happy that we got to see a LGBTQI+ Bergman!!! Between that and the beautifully written Anxiety and chronic pain representation this book killed it with the representation!

There were at least two moments were I was brought to tears because of the way anxiety and other emotions were just SO well written.

I really cannot say much else about this book other than READ IT and all the rest in the series because they are all just so beautiful an have such wonderful rep!!

Read For:
⚽️ Meddling Family
⚽️ Neurodiverse Rep (Anxiety)
⚽️ LGBTQ Rep (Bi and Gay MCs)
⚽️ Chronic Pain Rep
⚽️ A Catch Up With the Other Bergmans
⚽️ Foreign Language Nicknames 🤩
⚽️ Pranks
⚽️ BANTER (like all the banter)

Tropes:
⚽️ SLOW BURN
⚽️ Forced Proximity
⚽️ Grumpy x Sunshine
⚽️ Workplace Romance
⚽️ Sports Romance
⚽️ Age Gap
⚽️ Only One Bed
⚽️ Enemies to lovers

I did admit in my review of With You Forever that I felt a little robbed of seeing the family react to Axel and Rooney’s news but this book definitely satisfied that!

Again I really cannot recommend this enough— when I read it the day after I got approved for the egalley in ONE sitting.

Thank you Netgalley and Victoria Editing for the opportunity to review! All thoughts are my own!

"The fact is, while I think he has the personality of a rusty freezer, I can't deny that Gavin's hot as hell."

Life as a professional soccer player has been great for Oliver Bergman, until two years ago when the storm cloud that is Gavin Hayes joined the team. The veteran player and the rising star are suddenly thrust into an ultimatum by their coach: put their differences aside or lose their co-captaincy.

Y'all this is a queer, slow burn, enemies to lovers, age gap, sports romance. I never stood a chance.

I'm not usually a HUGE enemies-to-lovers fan, but I can absolutely be suckered in if its dual POV and I know that actually they've loved/pined after each other the whole time. And when its grumpy sunshine!?!? Basically this book was destined to be my kryptonite. Also to note, I have read only the first and now the fifth books in this series, and they can absolutely be enjoyed as standalones.

Chloe Liese consistently makes an effort to include meaningful representation in her books, specifically disability and neurodivergent rep. I've previously reviewed Only When It's Us and been very complimentary about its late-deafened rep (a community I am a part of). This book specifically has chronic pain and anxiety representation. I don't personally experience either of these things, so I cannot speak to the quality of the representation from personal experience, but I can say that despite these characters being in an enemies to lovers dynamic, neither of them are ever unkind or judgmental about the other's anxiety/chronic pain.

In all, this book properly had me cheesing from cover to cover, even though Oliver never once shut up about Hamilton.

Playlist for You (this book actually comes with an author-curated playlist available on Spotify, but these would be my additions):
- Flesh and Bone // Black Math
- i think i wanna be alone // mazie
- Jigsaw // Conan Gray

A quote that had me actually screaming out loud:
"Actions speak louder than words, isn't that the saying? I held your hand across a fucking continent, Oliver Bergman. Do with that what you will."

My heart is so damn happy. I love everything about the Bergman crew and am thrilled to finally have Oliver's HEA.

Can we just for a second talk about Oliver? He's hilarious and also so damn vulnerable. He has an anxiety disorder that is debilitating and he also does stupidly relatable things like eating half a wheel of cheese even knowing he's lactose intolerant. (Not even gonna lie I laughed so hard at that bc been there, done that 😂😬)

Oliver is dedicated and passionate and so full of love and affection for everyone but he's also scared of losing people and fears disappointing anyone to the point where he plasters on a grin and smiles and sings through his pain and anxiety.

Then there's Gavin, sweet soft grumpy Gavin. Gavin with chronic pain and loads of guilt to work through. He believes his worth is tied inextricably with soccer and with his soccer career at the tail end, he can't grasp that people could love him without it.

I adored these two. I adored their grumpy/sunshine dynamic and enemies to lovers. I adored their neighbor status and proximity carpools. I adored their love of musicals and how one tiny toddler has them both wrapped right around her finger.

It's safe to say I'm fairly obsessed with the Bergman's. I almost cried when I got an arc and jumped in immediately. I needed this story and of course Chloe delivered.

You technically could read this as a standalone but please trust me that you should read the entire series and fall in love with this huge Swedish American family who are so dedicated to love and affirmation and inclusivity.

I'll add some of my favorite quotes after pub day!

Everything for You is the fifth book in the Bergman Brothers (siblings) standalone series. I definitely recommend reading the first four books to fully appreciate Oliver's story!

I feel like I know the Bergmans at this point and this book was beautiful. I'm going to try to make this coherent but just know that I immediately message Chloe after finishing to tell her that this story as always is *chefs kiss* and that it had me feeling all the emotions. Chloe handles heavy topics, like anxiety and chronic pain, with grace. While Chloe definitely had me sobbing, especially near the end, this book also was full of humor and a light-heartedness that felt right for Oliver's story.

As a Ted Lasso fan, it was easy to vividly picture Oliver and Gavin as they fell in love. Oliver is someone that came across as playful and wild in this series. As he rediscovered himself after presenting a constant happy-go-lucky unbothered persona in the public eye I found my heart breaking with how relatable it was. He was lonely in his own way and didn't want to disappoint his family or show what he perceived to be his weaknesses to his teammates or to the world. Gavin's life left him with a hard exterior, unsure of how to trust and love others. I thoroughly enjoyed watching his shell crack as he forced, thanks to their coach, to interact with Oliver. They were both lonely in different ways and were doing their best to pretend that they were fine.

I absolutely loved their interactions and their banter. I loved that Gavin was Oliver's childhood crush and that Gavin didn't know what to do with the love and affection that Oliver was offering (the scene with Willa iykyk). I loved that they were neighbors and that there was ONLY ONE BED and that the heat broke. It had me sweating and it was snowing outside. The patience they both had, Gavin with trying to make sure he could see Oliver thriving and Oliver with working through Gavin's exterior. They just made so much sense together and complemented each other in the best and most intimate of ways.

As always, the playlist enhanced the reading experience for me and I have a few new favorite songs from it. I loved the glimpses at the past couples and the time at the A-Frame. This family is one that I wish I was part of (and feel like I am with how Chloe writes them).

I can't wait for Viggo's story next, I feel like it's going to be beautiful and the second half of the man- cubs deserves his own HEA.

Thank you to the author and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Everything for You by Chloe Liese is the fifth book in the Bergman Brothers series. While it is a standalone, there are spoilers if you don't read the books in order and plan to read the whole series. This is a steamy M/M enemies-to-more romance based in the world of professional men's soccer.

Sunshiney Oliver is on the rise in his career. His co-captain, grumpy, chronically pained Gavin is the thorn in his side. Together they have been tasked to motivate the team, each in their own way, but first they need to set their differences aside to allow for success.

I love this book series, and Oliver Bergman's story is a beautiful one to read. Oliver's character is kind, supportive, playful, and authentic, which I love to see in male characters. The chemistry between the two heroes is electric both on and off the soccer field. If you've read any of the other books in the series, you know that the meddling siblings are a large part of character and plot development, and this book offers closure (spoilers) for many of the siblings' storylines! Gavin's sidekicks are an entertaining group of septuagenarians who support and love Gavin and act as his foil. Add the LA Galaxy soccer team's (fictional) coaching staff and players and you have a large cast of well crafted characters in this book!

The only negative (and it is a small one) is that at times, especially in the first act, I felt like I was reading Ted Lasso fanfic. I LOVE that show and have watched the series more than once, but the characters in this book seemed a bit too derivative, which is why I deducted a star. I love that the author was admittedly inspired by the show, and she does make the characters her own by the second act, but at first they didn't seem unique enough, so I felt a disconnect that I don't usually have with her writing.

CW: anxiety disorder, panic attacks, chronic pain, sexual content, strong language, homophobic situation (slur used, but not explicitly written)

Everything for You is the fifth book in the Bergman Brothers series. They are companion novels, you don't have to read all the books in order to know what is going on, but I high recommend you pick them all up! Every time one of her books come out, I think "oh this one is my favourite", but honestly I cannot pick. Chloe Liese is such a talented writer and I love all the books in this series so much! She has written as beautiful novel with so many feelings inside it. Not only that, she has combined so many of my favourite tropes and I am here for it!!

If you like a grump-sunshine, enemies to lovers, only one bed, or age gap romances, this
book is for you! At first I wasn't sure I was going to love Gavin, but as the story went on, I fell more and more in love with him. I also liked to get the chance to learn more about Oliver and the masking he does in the way of positivity and "sunshine" and seeing him let his guard down a bit.

The steam in this book is perfect, but the slow burn is even more perfect. I loved every little bit of Gavin and Oliver's relationship and they were perfect together.

One of my favourite parts of Chloe's writing is that she is so inclusive. She writes about disabilities and differences in such a true, kind and respectful way. Writing Oliver's panic attacks or Gavin's chronic pain was done with such care and compassion, yet while being true and realistic.

I absolutely adored that Chloe Liese did a time jump and we got to see all the Bergmans in the future, learning what happened to the past four Bergman couples. I also loved being able to learn about Viggo and Ziggy, the siblings we haven't had stories about yet.

This was a great novel, by an awesome author. I will continue to pick up Chloe's novels in the future, because she is such a wonderful writer. Thank you to NetGalley and the author for an advance copy. All opinions are 100% mine.

Chloe Liese has done it again. This book is, probably, the most emotional in the Bergman series so far. I felt the feelings so hard, it was like being inside the book.

Oliver and Gavin were truly enemies to lovers. The first part of the book was full of true animosity between them, even if Oliver was the biggest sunshine ever. The chemistry was so GOOD. There is nothing that can top a well done enemies to lovers for me, and if you add grumpy/sunshine to the mix, my soul is going to leave my body.

The more I got to know Gavin, the harder I fell for his character. My heart ached for him for a big part of the book. Feeling like you’re only worthy if you’re the best, if you work the hardest… that’s awful. Showing someone who feels like this that they can be loved no matter what, if they’re trying or not, it they’re being the best or they’re simply existing, is hard. This book feels like a warm hug, and it will remind everyone that you can simply breathe, and that will be enough for someone else to love you.

I loved reading about Oliver as a main character! The man cubs always were a big highlight of this series for me! I love Oliver so much, and I love his character development. He’s so considerate and always thinks of how to make people’s lives better, forgetting about his own in the process. Thankfully, the brothers had some words of wisdom for him in this regard. Also, Ollie is the absolute best uncle. These tiny Bergmans are the CUTEST thing ever!

Oliver and Gavin are perfect together, and their romance is absolutely God Tier for me. I wouldn’t change a single thing.

I can’t believe we’re only down to two siblings… my heart is going to be shattered when this series is over! No matter who comes next, I am absolutely ready to devour and love it just as much as this one and the rest of the series. Also… I wouldn’t complain if we ever got a tiny glimpse about Papa and Mama Bergman’s love story… 🫢

Thank you SO much, Chloe, for my ARC!

I’ve made no secret of my undying affection for Bergman Brothers series. So the moment free ARC of 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐘𝐎𝐔 (Berman Brothers #5) was approved (@netgalley) I threw all other responsibilities (and books) aside to read Oliver (sunshine/Ted Lasso vibes) and Gavin (grumps/Roy Kent) love story via an enemies-to-lovers, age gap sports romance.

Everytime a new book comes out I think "Oh- this one's my favorite". I am searching for the best way to convey how much I enjoyed these characters and their story. As I was reading, I felt like I was hooked up to a cocktail composed of all my favorite things. I was just so darn happy. ⁣ What I love about this series is Chloe's belief that everyone deserves to be understood and loved and her commitment to include underrepresented, sensitive matters with care and respect.

𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐘𝐎𝐔 is a m/m romance and there is a particularly intense and jarring scene that includes offensive name calling. The name is never seen in print, yet it's packed with an emotional punch to the gut.

PLUS:
⁣*one bed, neighbors and "let me play nurse".
* I literally gasped when there was a time jump and we saw the futures of characters from the first 4 books in the series.
* Compulsively readable.
⁣* Chronic pain and anxiety rep
* Oliver and Gavin have such depth and growth. It was a joy to watch.
* The banter- it's witty and wry!
* Steam- Chloe writes a slow burn like no one else. Damn- such delectable tension.    ⁣* Spotify Playlists: Each chapter starts with a song that is linked to each chapter. All 5 are part of my regular rotation⁣
* As soon as I turn the last page I immediately go back to my favorite passages because I'm never quite done with the Bergman's.

Thank you for the opportunity to review this book. I cannot believe I was approved - I think I made weird screechy animal noises when I got the email! Me and Australian netgalley never get the good stuff, and holy moly this was the good stuff.

I’ve enjoyed all the Bergman books, but THIS ONE. HANDS DOWN. MY FAVE. Thank you, Chloe Liese!

About 20% in, definitely before reading the author’s note, I was like “this is Roy Kent and Ted Lasso on the verge of hooking up and I am here for it!” Called it.

Enemies-lovers and grump-sunshine are my romance trope weaknesses, and making it slow burn m/m took it to another level. Oliver and Gavin’s frustration was so intense, but full of passion, and I love the way they respectively acknowledged the turn of their feelings.

I don’t know how Chloe did it, but this book also packs in “defending you when insulted!”, “only one bed!”, “let me care for you while you’re sick!”… it’s like six romance novels packed into one and fed my needy romance-loving soul.

I also really appreciated the presence of the Bergman family and the Viggo antics in this book, which I really missed from With You Forever.

As always, Chloe Liese addresses sensitive matters with care and respect - noticeable in a particularly poignant scene about offensive name calling that packed a punch without the word even making it into print.

I found some of the steam a fraction concentrated at the end, but I appreciate the book was a burnnnnn and therefore it wouldn’t have fit earlier.

In short: can’t wait to re-read. My fave read of 2022 so far (this was book 92!)
