I just need to start out by saying thank you for approving me for this. I honestly didn't think I would get approved and my excitement when I got the e-mail, was hard to contain.

Chloe does not disappoint, ever. She writes characters who are not only loveable and instantly relatable, but who are inclusive, which in itself is amazing. The wait for Oliver's story felt like an eternity. It was packed with tropes, which any romance reader knows can be integral to a bingeworthy book, but it was also packed with real-life, as are all of her books. I cannot say enough about her. I just love everything she writes. Read this, you will not regret it.

Thank you NetGalley for an E-ARC in exchange for a honest review.

This book was ABSOLUTELY UNREAL. Oliver and Gavin’s story was amazing and I can’t believe I got the chance to read this ARC. An MM enemies to lovers sports romance that follows Oliver and Gavin and they are forced to co captain their soccer team. Except, they don’t like each other (or so they tell themselves).

The book follows them along the journey. Full of banter, and amazing sizzling tension. Obsessed is an understatement.

My love for the Bergmans continues to grow at an exponential rate that has no chance of slowing. As a lover of musical theatre and Ted Lasso, this deep dive into one of our man cubs’ lives brought me so much joy.

Oliver is the 6th of 7 Bergman siblings and has always relied on his sunshiny disposition to hide his anxiety issues or any real problem that he might be facing. At the age of 20 he left his degree program to join the LA Galaxy MLS team, and at the age of 22, he was joined on that team by his idol, Gavin Hayes.

2 years of trying not to stare at the sun. Gavin has done all that he could to stay away from Oliver. He couldn’t allow himself to want. To need. To love. He couldn’t watch as his career was coming to a close and this starburst of a human was just beginning his rise.

The two are made co-captains and their lives become even more intertwined considering they are NEIGHBORS. *squeeeee* 🔥🔥🔥

The depth of these characters and their incredible growth in this story is such a joy to witness. Thank you to Chloe for this truly beautiful book and thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review.

This latest Bergman siblings book was utterly tropetastic and made me feel ALL THE FEELS!!!

You need to add this to your TBR if any of the following things excite you:

- grumpy/sunshine
- age gap
- sports romance
- only one bed
- slow burn
- enemies to lovers
- open door
- anxiety + chronic pain rep
- tons of Encanto and Hamilton references

Plus LOTS of Bergman sibling antics, new Bergman babies, TWO Bergman weddings and plenty of A-frame sexy times!

This book truly is another fantastic addition to the series. Hotshot Oliver is a rising professional soccer player who grew up crushing on Gavin, a veteran player dealing with chronic pain and the knowledge that this could be his last season. The two get named co-captains and have to learn to work together for the sake of the team.

Each of these men fight hard against their attraction for one another but ultimately give in after a delicious slow burn build up. I adored Gavin's septuagenarian poker buddy friends and just how vulnerable these two characters are able to get with one another.

If you love books with great depth and highly relatable characters you cannot do better than a Chloe Liese book! Highly recommended and all the stars! Much thanks to NetGalley and the author for my advance review copy!!

Fantastic, phenomenal, and exactly what you might expect from the next installment of one of the best romance series ever. Oliver’s story is everything I wanted and didn’t know I needed. Enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine with hurt/comfort and a slow burn that absolutely incinerates you, Everything for You is destined to be one of my top books of the year.

Gavin can’t stand to be around Oliver, and when they are pushed into co-captaincy of their pro-soccer team, the tension they have both been ignoring for two years boils over. And it is hot and steamy. Gavin covers up his fear of intimacy and chronic pain with a grumpy, growly, monochromatic exterior, and he can’t stand how Oliver makes him FEEL things. Oliver uses his cheerfulness and optimism to cope with his anxiety and panic disorder, and loves to keep shoving Gavin off balance with a smile on his face. The ten years between them don’t matter as much as what they symbolize. Gavin is at the end of his career, with a body that he physically can’t keep pushing anymore, and resents that Oliver is the shining star at the beginning of his.

Highlights:
Everything. Absolutely every page.

Hamilton, pranks, the cutest niece, maybe the best only-one-bed I’ve ever read, the whole Bergman crew, the A Frame (of course), Oliver and Gavin repeatedly caring for the other, during panic attacks, indigestion, nerve blinding pain, and feeling feelings.

Chronic pain and anxiety suck, and neither character pretend that they don’t or that they will somehow move past them. They love each other through them, and it’s so sweet and wonderful. You don’t have to be healthy to deserve love or respect, and this book is everything.

Overall, this was the best book I’ve read all year, and I would be surprised if it stayed there. Get your hands on it, asap.

Chloe Liese knows how to make a reader swoon while breaking their heart and stitching it back together!

I adored Oliver and Gavin’s story!

With a grump/sunshine, enemies to lovers type story I think you need to have some balance and having both characters as mains with their own POVs was especially important. Oliver’s anxiety and stress about never living up to familial expectations (completely self inflicted feelings) and Gavin’s self-awareness about his body and career were two shining lights in this one. I loved how Chloe handled both topics from both the POVs of each character.

Everything for You is the slowest of burns. Bordering on too slow but in the end the wait was worth it! And while at first I was afraid Gavin was a bit too Roy from Ted Lasso he definitely was his own character and when we see his cinnamon roll side it practically made me giddy!

Of course the other Bergman’s make appearances and we get to a bit into where everyone is in their life and relationship. I also enjoyed getting a bit more of Viggo and Ziggy, definitely in preparation for their forthcoming books!

I adore the world Chloe has created. I appreciate so much, how she tackles real issues thoughtfully and yet with humour. And boy or boy can she write steam!

Yet another couple to fall in love with in the Bergman Brothers series. Book 5 in the series has some of the best tropes of all time and does not disappoint. Everything for You has hilarious moments, a complex couple, fun sports aspects, and of course, the amazing Bergman family dynamic (with some Bergman babies and weddings).

Oliver Bergman and Gavin Hayes have never gotten along as teammates, despite Oliver’s sunshine personality. The seasoned grump wants nothing to do with his fresh faced young teammate. When their coach makes them co-captains, his greatest fears come true. Now Oliver and Gavin are forced to put aside their animosity and somehow become friends.

The dynamic between these two was so fun to read. Oliver has such golden retriever energy while Gavin is a major grump. Slowly, we see them go from two teammates trying to be friends, to two teammates trying to contain their feelings for each other. Each little moment where you see their feelings come out and relationship develop is so heartwarming.

Gavin keeps himself a complete fortress, so we eventually get to see more of the real him and all of the things he has dealt with. Oliver is such a happy personality, but has plenty weighing on his shoulders that he deals with in private. Reading how these two open up to each other and finally let someone in was amazing.

One of my favorite thing about Chloe’s writing is all of the representation and diversity. She has done it in each book, but this book specifically we see an mc struggle with chronic pain and another face anxiety. This story means so much to me as a person who struggles with anxiety and I’m so thankful for the way she can put these experiences on a page to bring awareness.

Tropes: M/M romance, enemies to lovers, grump/sunshine, forced proximity, sports romance, teammates, only one bed, age gap romance, mc with anxiety, mc with chronic pain

Chloe Liese just never. ever. misses. another 5* review for the 5th Bergman Brother series.
Gavin and Oliver’s story was so special and sweet, and who doesn’t love a grumpy/sunshine novel??? Chloe also never fails to amaze me with how she represents her characters. Oliver Bergman suffers from anxiety and i resonated so much with how she described how he was feeling, it made me love him more. And as always, we get so many domestic bergman scenes with their partners which i loved so so much, they’re my comfort family. Anyways, i can’t wait for viggo and ziggys stories next year because they seem so funny

After Axel and Rooney's book, I was crossing my fingers and toes that Oliver's book would be next and it was everything I wanted it to be. Grumpy/Sunshine men who are dealing with personal demons are my jam. It was so nice to see the new members of the Bergman clan and the weddings!

Viggo and Oliver's relationship makes me so happy. Viggo's deep love of romance novels is a running bit through the books and I was absolutely delighted when there was only one bed at the hotel for Gavin and Oliver. Seeing these guys peel back their top layers to fall in love was so wonderful. I didn't get enough interactions with the full crew and Gavin but I bet it'll happen the background of the next books.

Thank you to Netgalley for a copy in exchange for an honest review. My opinions are my own.

This highly anticipated Bergman Brothers novel defied all my expectations! Chloe Liese gifts us with a wonderful MM sports romance that focuses on acceptance, love, and family shenanigans. Something that has always distinguished Chloe as an author is how she writes, and Everything For You is another wonderful work written with so much care and respect it will make your heart melt.

Given that this is book #5 of the series, we have gotten to know this family quite a bit, and this time we get to follow Oliver Bergman while he falls in love with his grumpy teammate, Gavin Hayes. I absolutely fell in love with both characters and their journey. Their story, with all its tropes (so many good ones!), is funny, steamy and so swoony. The character development is just *chefs kiss*. I really enjoyed the glimpses we get of all the siblings and their respective special someones. We get to know a bit more about the younger Bergman siblings; there’s the A-frame (we all know how important this place is!); we get to meet new Bergmans; and one of my favorite parts: we got a front row seat to past main characters’ personal growth and it was just so good!

I really wish all authors took as much care as Chloe does when it comes to character representation, because this is how it should be done. Again, this was a wonderful read that I devoured in no time because I just couldn’t put it down.

Thank you NetGalley & Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for allowing me to read this ARC; the book doesn’t come out until May 10th, and I can’t wait for everyone to read this gem!

“I had to watch you have everything that I’d lost and know I could do it, to prove to us both that while I loved soccer, I love you better, best, beyond.”

Every new release in the Bergman Brothers series fills me with bittersweetness. I love this family so much, and I never want to say goodbye to them. I didn’t believe a couple would top my love for Rooney and Axel, but I should never doubt Chloe Liese. This enemies to lovers, Ted Lasso-inspired rom-com had me hooked from start to finish.

When I found myself wiping away tears during the first chapter, I just knew this story would be all-consuming. I ADORE Oliver. I love the way he loves his family, his desire to make others happy, and his selflessness. I love how he responded to Gavin’s anger and grumpiness with smiles and kindness. If you’ve seen Ted Lasso, Gavin Hayes is the equivalent of Roy Kent. The biggest and meanest grump with the softest heart. Their dynamic is much like Ted and Roy’s. Their banter and good-natured insults have me smiling throughout most of the story. Their tension and chemistry is palpable from the very beginning. Oliver and Gavin can’t ignore their attraction no matter how much they dislike each other.

Liese’s portrayal of anxiety feels so authentic and relatable. Oliver’s struggle with anxiety disorder resonated with me, and Liese’s vivid imagery brings this story and these feelings to life. It’s impossible to not feel what these characters are feeling by the depth in which Liese describes their emotions.

Gavin’s character is so misunderstood, and I truly felt for him. He’s put all his worth into the one thing that’s never let him down: soccer. I understood his self-defense mechanisms and his desire to keep everyone at arm’s length. Gavin’s upbringing is the opposite of Oliver’s, which is something I empathized with and is another reason I adore the Bergman family.

I loved witnessing Oliver and Gavin’s individual development throughout the book alongside their developing relationship. They were perfect opposites who suited each other so well, and I patiently awaited the moment they finally let down their walls and exposed their vulnerabilities. Their love for one another was so special and unconditional.

For me, what makes this series and each story so unique and enjoyable is the Bergman family. After 5 books with the Bergmans, I feel so invested in each of their lives. Oliver’s moments with his brothers, the Bergman Brother Summit, depicts the unconditional love and support in this family. Willa’s scene with Oliver brought me back to the start of the Bergman Brothers series and reminded me why I initially fell in love with this family and these characters. Willa and I are kindred spirits, and I see so much of myself in her, or at least the Willa from the beginning.

If you haven’t met the Bergmans yet, please do yourself a favor and pick up Only When It’s Us. This series is so much more than a romance series. Chloe Liese’s authentic depiction of autism (#OwnVoices), chronic illness, anxiety disorder, and other disabilities raises awareness of these subjects and educates readers. I’ve learned so much about neurodivergence and chronic illnesses through her stories. Liese’s poetic writing style keeps readers captivated, allows us to sympathize with her characters, and feel invested in their journeys. With each new addition to the series, I find it harder and harder to say goodbye.

Everything for You releases May 10th! Thank you NetGalley and Chloe Liese for this ARC!

5⭐
R verging on NC-17 because this is a slow burn but the last part of this book brings the 🌶️🌶️

This review is going to probably be a hot mess where I just gush about how much I love this series.

Okay I am already obsessed with Chloe Liese and this entire series but this book took my obsession to a whole other level as she brought not just Ollie and Gavin together but also gave long time readers a huge pay off in seeing so many beloved characters find new levels of happiness together.

Ollie is the young cheerful dude on his professional soccer team while Gavin is the grump nearing the end of his career, creating an atmosphere of bickering and attraction both on and off the soccer field for these two. Chloe promised this book would deliver on the Ted Lasso vibes and, wow, she definitely did--if you're looking for a book with a Roy Kent type character, this book will deliver on that and then some. The other beautiful thing about Chloe's books is how complex her characters are as they dealt with anxiety, chronic pain and homophobia in professional sports as well as the supporting cast of diverse characters with nonbinary, pregnancy, and different races were all represented on the page.

Overall, I just loved watching as Ollie and Gavin found a way to deal with their personal challenges, love each other and find the balance in their professional lives. This book was so satisfying in so many ways as it really moved this series forward in ways that I think will make the final two books just as satisfying. If you're anxiously awaiting Ted Lasso Season 3 or are annoyed that Bridgerton Season 2 didn't quite deliver the expected enemies to lovers drama, you should definitely pick up this book and the whole series because it was perfect.

Also I cannot decide if I like this book or book 3 best in the series!!

Thanks to Netgalley and the author for an ARC of this!

I am obsessed with this series full of love, healthy masculinity, diversity, and consent. This was my most anticipated release for the middle of 2022 and when I saw I was approved for the ARC I dropped everything to read it. This M/M grump/sunshine, enemies to lovers story fits perfectly in with all the others and smashed through every expectation I had for it. Perfection.

The fifth Bergman Brothers book is here! I have wondered what Oliver would be like as a protagonist, older, more mature, or still the wild prankster from the previous books. This exceeded my expectations. Ollie's story is so perfectly him. And I adored Gavin as the love interest. He is so much more than a grump stereotype with interesting backstory and motivation.

The two of them are both playing for the LA Galaxy soccer team. There's a ten year age gap with Gavin as the veteran and Ollie the up-and-coming leader. And the two regularly clash in terms of personality, approach, and more. If that weren't enough for a fabulous set-up, they also live next door to each other.

I don't know how Chloe Liese does it, how she gets me emotionally every time with every book. On a surface level, a book about two professional athletes should not be one that I resonate with deeply. But that doesn't acknowledge just how amazingly intense her writing is. She incorporates anxiety and chronic pain without either becoming trivialized. There are whole passages and chapters about being human and loving each other that I will need to re-read over and over.

And we once again have the whole Bergman clan. I have loved getting to know this whole family through each book. And having the chance to see them again and get to know them in new ways was especially wonderful. While this book could stand alone, I recommend reading the series in order. In this book, I was especially nice to be able to see how Aiden, Freya, Ryder, and Willa have changed since their books ended.

Thank you to Chloe Liese and NetGalley for the advanced reader copy. These opinions are my own.

I can truly say this is one of my favorite romance series. What Liese does with her characters and stories is just amazing. I loved seeing Gavin take down his walls for Oliver. Their chemistry was so good and of course I can't forget about the other Bergman's. Getting to see them all in future with their own little families (I screamed with Freya and Aiden). But really got me close to water works was chapter 27 with Oliver and Willa. That chapter is truly one of Liese's best written work. But I'm so excited for Viggo's and Ziggy's books (I'm hoping Viggo will fall in love with a romance writer and/or let it be second chance romance).

I devoured this book and absolutely loved Ollie and Gavin’s story. While this can be read as a standalone, I HIGHLY recommend reading the previous books first (the audiobooks are also amazing) to avoid any spoilers. The Bergmans are by far my favorite book family. I love how we got to see so much of all of them in this story, especially Viggo, who’s book I assume is next. Chloe Liese always knows how to handle difficult topics with such grace and in a way that really makes your understand and connect. I will say this story felt a bit more steamy than the others, but I’m all for it!

Read if you like:
-M/m sports romance
-Age gap
-Close proximity (teammates and next door neighbors)
-Big, tight-knit families
-Hamilton/ Encanto references
-Ted Lasso

I ADORE this series, and each book and love story just further reaffirms that. One of my favorite things about this series is that the entire growing Bergman family makes appearances in EVERY book, and you truly feel like you know them and like you’re a part of the family. Chloe Liese brings you along for each success and upset, allowing readers to celebrate and grieve with the characters-they’re so well-written that you can’t help but WANT to be a part of the family and be there for everything.

This story focuses on 6th Bergman child Oliver, and his personal and professional relationship with co-worker Gavin. Gavin and Oliver have the sweetest, steamiest, most frustrating, deliciously tension-filled relationship, and I could not read their story fast enough. I don’t typical love enemies to lovers stories, but this one got me all hot and bothered and was just so dang sweet that it may have changed me mind on the whole thing!

As always, this story tackles real issues in order to make the characters closer to real people and to show that everyone deserves a love story. I appreciate the chronic pain representation in this story because it shows that the life of a professional athlete is not all glamorous and it cannot last forever. If you haven’t read the Bergman Brothers series, I highly recommend starting now so you’re ready for this book when it releases because it’s so good!

I was given an ARC of this book by NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

Absolutely in awe of the magic and beauty that Chloe Liese has captured in her latest installment of her Bergman Brother’s series. Oliver has grown from Man Cub to romantic lead in a beautiful way. Rising star in professional soccer, doting uncle, loving brother. Seeing Ollie as a lead player was such a delight.

And Gavin…

Star soccer player. Supreme grump. And absolutely dreamy in his grumpiness. Gavin is wrestling with chronic pain and questions about the end of his career and what the future holds for him. All the while figuring out how to deal with the perennially upbeat, sunshiney goodness that is Ollie Bergman.

In true Chloe fashion, she has crafted deeply human, complex, gorgeous characters who wrestle with anxiety, pain, and the complex emotions wrapped up in life and love. Ollie’s anxiety over his career and his worth as a human being – a son, a brother, an uncle – was so raw, so vulnerable I could feel it like an ache in my own chest. Gavin’s chronic pain, I felt that too. “Pain is as familiar to me as pulling air into my lungs, as opening my eyes when the sun breaks the horizon.” There are days I can barely roll out of bed because of the pain of my arthritis. To see that on the page like this? Beautiful. And poignant.

“So often, pain isn’t something we can cure or prevent, and that’s not why we lean into the people we love. We don’t need them to fix it for us, or ask about all the things we could have done to avoid it or the ways we’ve tried to remedy it. We just need them to see us, to find ways to love us, not in spite of our pain, but through it.”

Soccer is a theme in all of the Bergman books, but this really scratched an itch with the technical, first-hand, pro soccer element. I loved watching Ollie and Gavin learn to be co-captains, navigating their relationship on and off the pitch, and while I know they play for the LA Galaxy and not Liverpool FC, Gavin and Ollie embody the spirit of Liverpool: You’ll never walk alone.

Thank you Chloe Liese and NetGalley for the ARC.

CW/TW: Bigotry, on page but not explicit; anxiety/panic attack - on page; open door romance.

Thank you Netgalley and the author for giving the eARC of the book.
This book was one of my most anticipated reads of the year.
I am big fan of Chloe liese's writing, I love how she handles the characters with absolute care.
The book has time jump of 4 years.
I loved Ollie and Gavin's banter.

Tropes- grump/sunshine
-enemies to lovers
-slow burn
-age gap
-and they were neighbours..

Bergman babies were adorable. I loved the relationship Gavin had with his poker buddies. Viggo and Ollie's dynamic was so good.

I loved the anxiety and chronic pain rep.

“But we all take turns, don’t we? Being the bystanders and the ones who suffer. What if we’re meant to be counterpoints to each other— not to diminish each other’s pain, not to overstate the silver linings of hardship, but instead to stand in witness to it, to help each other see that little bit of light and hope that keeps us going, that reminds us life is some hard shit, but the people who love us through it… they make it bearable?”

Having been a fan of the previous books in the Bergman Brothers series, I had really high hopes for Everything for You. Chloe Liese knocked it out of the park yet again, I loved this book!

Being a fan of Ted Lasso, it was also fun to see the Ted Lasso characteristics in Oliver and Roy Kent characteristics in Gavin. They are definitely not carbon copies, but this is a sunshine/grump trope done well where you fall in love with both characters. What I really appreciated in this book is that there is no misunderstanding, and if there was, it was resolved quickly. When Oliver and Gavin have problems, they are actual real problems that they know that need to be worked through. The love story between Oliver and Gavin is organic and real, and Liese did a great job with the chemistry and tension. The bedsheet incident made me laugh out loud too. The book had a great relationship progression and I was rooting for them from the beginning. I also enjoyed that each character as an individual grew personally so they could be the best version of themselves.

Liese has always done a great job giving life and dimension to side characters. I absolutely loved Gavin's poker buddies, I wish this could be a movie so I could see them interact with Gavin. I also loved seeing Linnea go from calling Gavin a grump to a Kladdakaka and just loving him. The whole Bergman family is always fun to have pop up on pages, their relationship carrying through all the books and how they love and protect each other, and also play pranks.

I can't wait to read the last two books in the series, but it will be sad to say goodbye to this amazing family and world Liese has created.
