Loved the cover of this novel and synopsis, and although I have not read anything by this author before, I had to read this!! The story centers around Rose, a mother who wants to join the “in” crowd at the prestigious Woolf Academy. Once her son Charlie is accepted, he has trouble fitting in and is singled out in class. Rose realizes both she and Charlie’s success will depend on her befriending the glamorous Amala Kaur, the leader of the Circle, a clannish and secretive group of women at the top of the school’s food chain. When a Circle member dies, Rose is invited in, but is being a part of the Circle worth the cost?

Recommended for fans of “Bad Moms,” “Stepford Wives,” and those who love suspense stories about mothers, mean girls, and instagram vs. real life. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

A slow building thriller that keeps you captivated the entire book. I absolutely love this book with a strong female character. I was immediately interested in the story and kept interested in the entire novel.
