I love these illustrations so much and I love that they are all different types of animals, especially animals most wouldn't usually associate with love. Very cute book. Definitely something I want to own

Such a gorgeous book. A charming and rhyming take, on words that everybody needs to hear. Lovely words that explain the very essence of what love is and express the need for it in the world. The illustrations are so cute and done remarkably well, almost a reason to get the book alone to gaze at these beauties. I'll definitely be buying this for my daughter when it is published. Thanks to the author and Netgalley for a temporary copy in exchange for an honest review.

This assuring and comforting book is the perfect bedtime read or anytime read. It is a celebration of love and kindness and tells how these attributes come in many different forms.

Heart-warming rhymes and adorable animal illustrations grace each page reminding readers that love is all around us.

"When we hear "I love you," it makes us feel warm,

Like we're always protected, and safe from the storm.

Love can take many shapes, sizes, and forms,

But it's always right there by your side".

I love the book and I happily recommend it. More wonderful kid's books by Gregory E. Lang:

I love "Why the World Needs Love" and I whole-heartedly recommend it.

A cute and simple story about Love. The illustrations are pretty and colorful.
I just feel like it would be harder to understand for the younger kids.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the E-Arc in exchange for an honest review.

Another brilliant work from the author and the illustrator. I've read their other work and this time it also didn't disappoint. The topic tells different type of loves and is wrapped beautifully even I, as an adult, really enjoyed reading it and I got a gentle reminder that love could be in many forms. I'm looking forward to their next projects. Thank you NetGalley & SOURCEBOOKS Kids for the eARC

Why the World Needs Love is a simple, easy to read book that teaches readers about love and why it is important. I had a smile on my face the entire time I read this one. First, because of the beautiful writing that can be a wonderful conversation starter in the classroom and at home. Added bonus is the rhyming which kids love.
Second, because of the illustrations that were super cute, bright and would definitely get young readers attention.

This book would be perfect for a gift or just because. There are so many adult that I know who could also benefit from reading this book.

I feel like the argument for why love is necessary won't be that understandable for the younger children as the one about teachers was, and it could've made a stronger argument for love than it delievered, but it's still a great resource for teaching children about love's place and importance in life. And of course the pictures are still beautiful.
