Recipes seemed interesting, but the concept was weird to me. I meant to try a few before writing my review but the file expired before I could.

I really enjoyed reviewing MAKE EVERY DISH DELICIOUS by Lesley Chesterman.
Lesley is a well known Restaurant Critique and a former Pastry Chef.
The techniques, tips and recipes in this book are well explained but my only disappointment is that I would have liked more pictures.

Thank you to NetGalley and Simon & Schuster Canada for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

I absolutely love this cook book. The recipes are simple enough to follow along with as a mediocre home cook but my favourite part was that each of the handful of recipes I tried turned out way more delicious than I even expected!!! I can't wait to share my creations with family & friends.

Make Every Dish Delicious is a well-written cookbook, covering a variety of thoughtful ingredients with both informative instructions and delicious recipe selections, that will appeal to both novices and more experienced cooks alike. I thoroughly enjoyed this cookbook. My one critique was the limited number of photos accompanying the recipes. Many people, myself included, are inspired to make a dish by not only the recipe but the pictures of the finished dishes as well and I think this book would have benefitted greatly from including more photographs. Otherwise a great book of exciting and achievable recipes.

Thank you to NetGalley and the published for this ARC of this enjoyable cookbook.

Make Every Dish Delicious is a great book for beginners and experienced home cooks alike. We all know there are a million cookbooks out there to choose from, but this one falls outside the standard book of recipe after recipe. Yes, it still has a wide variety of recipes to choose from, but this book highlights the ingredients themselves. It also educates the reader and provides tips and tricks for cooking with these ingredients. For example, chapters include eggs, butter, pasta, beef, chocolate and cakes. I can honestly say I've learned from this book and I'm a somewhat experienced home cook. Every chapter has recipes that feature said chapter's ingredient. I enjoyed this book very much. If there is one thing a would have changed, it would be to have more recipe photos. While there were quite a few images, there were quite a few recipes without a photo to match. Other than that, I thought this was an excellent book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed are entirely my own.
